Omake: Noble Troubles
By TheIronSoldier
"Get them!" shouted Vice Admiral Lynchpin.
Izuku and Yamato ran through the streets of the Archipelago, a horde of Marines on their tails.
Izuku looked towards his partner, Yamato, and nodded to her. She shook her head as she understood the message.
Suddenly, the two stopped in place, stunning the marines after them. Before anyone could do anything, Yamato glared at them, Hard. The marines who managed to follow them, as well as any civilians nearby, instantly fell unconscious at her unleashing her Conquerors Haki.
When the area cleared, Izuku focused on Danger Sense and felt no one else.
Good. Now I can do this.
Motioning his hand above Yamato, he clonked her on the skull, Hard.
*Bonk*
"OW!" Yamato cried, "Izu, what was that for?". The Oni girl massaged her temple, and noticeably looked away from Izuku's irritated look.
"Yamato, What have I told you about laying low?" He said, closing his eyes. Then, he put on his best-disappointed look.
Yamato grimaced, "Not to use Haki when arguing with someone, as that will attract attention."
"And what did you do?" He asked.
"Attracted attention." She muttered, noticeably looking anywhere besides him. She didn't mean to beat the guy up, but what he said bothered her. It bothered her a lot.
"Become my Slave!"
People don't say that, right? She knew Oden would never become a slave, at least… not again.
"Yamato, I know what happened wasn't your fault."
'You think I don't know that!" She yelled, immediately regretting it. She turned downcast, she didn't mean to yell.
Oden never yelled at someone for being right.
Izuku sighed, "Come on, We need to get out of here." Looking towards the edge of Sabaody, he saw a group of dense forests. He motioned towards them, pointing towards one labeled Grove 13.
"That place looks the safest. I don't think the Marines can follow us there." He turned to the now sad Yamato.
At her expression, his face then turned more solemn. How did things go so wrong?
It was only a couple of hours ago. Before they encountered those marines, the knights.
That Damn World Noble.
Earlier
Sabaody Archipelago, the beautiful island, no, Resort, took Izuku's breath away.
The Island didn't even feel real. It put even I-Island to shame. Floating bubbles with people inside riding them like bikes! Beautiful trees were as high as the sky themselves! Beautiful Buildings, theme Parks, Food, It was seemingly heaven!
It had only been two months since they escaped from Onishigama and left Wano. It seemed every island they visited, the world got more beautiful as they went.
But something felt off, strangely off. Despite not seemingly being dangerous, Danger sense was still blaring, telling him not to approach the mainland. But, It looked so peaceful.
"Remember kid. Not everything looks peaceful at surface level. Every seemingly innocent place hides a dark secret," Hikage whispered, the thought going through his mind.
Yamato, on the other hand, was expressing genuine joy. Her orange eyes began taking in the most information she could by seeing the mainland. They sparkled at the new island they landed on, now grateful she was awake when they flew away from Water 7.
It was a nice place If you could get around the whole Tsunami epidemic.
"Wow! Izuku, look at that!" Yamato said, pointing at the Floating bubbles, "Look!" now pointing towards the Entertainers, "So Cool!" She stated. Izuku could only chuckle at the Oni girl's responses as she jumped around the area.
"Remember Yamato," He said, "We're only here to resupply, not to explore. Were still on thin ice after we met that Admiral trainer." The so-called admiral, known as Zephyr, almost managed to kill both of them, and Izuku and Yamato only managed to escape when a Group of New World Pirates attacked and granted them the ability to leave by air.
Yamato looked at the boy with a look, "Do you think I'm that naive? I still beat him."
Izuku gave her a look "Yamato, you were clearly losing. If I hadn't taken out his second in command-"
"I know, but they cheated though." She grumbled.
Speaking of the fight, Izuku really hoped they never encountered an Admiral level threat anytime soon, the last thing he needed was to break his legs again to fly away from the last one.
"Still-" he began, only for Yamato to stop him. "I know already, don't use Haki, don't cause a ruckus, and act like Oden if I'm about to lose it. I'll meet up with you later. I'm going to check out those strange structures." and just like that; He watched as Yamato ran towards the Ferris Wheel, acting like an innocent tourist visiting a new place.
It felt somewhat nice, to see someone who used to be so broken find some sort of peace in this strange world.
"You did a good thing, saving that girl."
Thanks, Nana.
He needed that.
Now, He needed supplies.
A while later, after asking for directions from locals, he found himself in front of what seemed to be a general store. It looked empty, so the fewer people the better.
*Ding*
"Hello! Welcome to Sabody's General Goods! How may I help you!" the Cashier stated, making Izuku feel weirdly at home.
"Hello, I think I'm looking for… what was it called, oh yeah- a log pose?" Izuku said, the cashier put his finger to his chin, "Yeah, we have a couple in stock, but which one are you looking for, Tri needle for the New World? Singular for Paradise? Come one kid. we're in a bit of a rush today."
"I guess a Singular pose…but wait, hold on, a tri needle for the new world? What's the difference? Is it the magnetic polarity? The signals? What was the difference… mutter mutter mutter."
The Cashier snapped his fingers in front of the boy, knocking him out of his mutter-fueled statement.
"I-I guess a Tri Needle then. We're traveling across the Grand Line, New World and all." Izuku stated,
The words seemed to shock the young man, who looked at the seemingly innocent kid speak about the new World with such normality.
He guessed it was just New World Bullshit.
"Fine, it costs 200,000 Beri though. But it's probably better to buy it here than downtown, shits more expensive, and dangerous, with all those Marines and World Nobles down there."
"World Nobles?" Izuku asked, not knowing who they were.
The Cashier looked in genuine shock, and to Izuku's confusion, his expression turned into one of horror.
"You- You're new to Sabaody aren't ya." He said, his voice incredibly low. Midoriya nodded, still wondering what scared the young man so much.
The man shuddered in horror, "The World Nobles are the descendants of the original World Government." His voice was noticeably lower than before. "They- God, They are monsters."
Monsters?
"Those, no, not people, Monsters, are exempt from all sorts of punishment. No marine, law enforcement, or other government is to interfere with them, even if they shoot someone on the street. All of this in the name of the 'Holy Descendants." The man then paled, "Then, there are the slaves. Those poor bastards."
"Slavery!? That exists here!" Izuku almost shouted.
That's Impossible! Something like that existing? I thought it was just a coincidence back in Wano, but here too?
"It's technically outlawed, but the nobles don't care. They fund the government. They let them have free reign of the place. If you are a girl, best stay clear of one. The last thing you want is a Noble looking at ya. After that, You're their toy for the rest of your short life." He said, saying it with a more solemn tone.
Izuku paled, someone like that, having so much power, that was allowed to exist!?
It reminded him of All For One, but even then, All For One never dipped his already nasty toes into Slavery. How, If the marines stood for justice, why didn't they stand up against them?
"That's the facts kid," Diagoro said, "Sometimes, all it takes is to have a powerful family, with that, everyone loves you, and the ones meant to protect bow down to them."
*Thump*
The sound shook Izuku out of his thoughts, and he saw the cashier put the Log Pose; alongside some other items.
"Here kid, Your Tri-Needle Log pose," He gestured to the rest of the items, "I'll give the rest of these to ya for free. You new here, so think of it as a gift."
"I-I don't know what to say…" Izuku said, more solemnly, giving the Cashier the rest of the money he needed for the pose.
"I got something," He said, causing Izuku to turn around,
"Watch out for the Helmets. You know a noble when you see one, and if you see one, its best to run for it, you'd have a better chance dying than getting captured." The cashier simply said, and Izuku left the store in a hurry, Not noticing the sad look on the young man's face. He simply looked into his watch and saw a picture of his Wife.
The last picture they ever took.
His tears began to fall. He hoped that kid got away from them.
Izuku ran through the streets.
He had to find Yamato, NOW.
Elsewhere
Yamato was wandering the Archipelago. Wonder filled her eyes as she saw the beautiful buildings, Attractions, the Food!
It was so breathtaking! The Sabaody Archipaldo was a wonder to see. However, Yamato still had a small voice in her head, telling her to be careful.
She watched as a couple of children ran past her, seemingly brother and sister, laughing all the way. A ghost of a smile resided on her face, could she have been like that one day? An innocent child running with her family? She never knew, or most likely, would never know, Kaido wasn't the best father of the year anytime soon.
She turned back, she thought she could meet up with Izuku before the day was over. However, as she was leaving, she felt a slight tingle.
"Oh, I'm sorry mister. I didn't mean to"
BANG!
'What the-'
She turned around, and her eyes widened in horror, a seemingly rich man had just shot a young child in the leg.
It was the one from before. The one that just ran past her, His sister, on the other hand, was looking in absolute fear, especially when she looked at the man who did it.
From what she could tell, the gunman was wearing some sort of suit, along with a bubble helmet. His hair was black and put into a curl. His coat had some dirt, alongside some blood painted on the legs of his long pant legs. In his hand, he held a smoking hand cannon, painted in blood, which he was glaring at with such content. Surrounding him were a group of Knights, all covered in dark metal armor.
"Don't touch me, you filthy commoner! Don't you see what you have done! Your filthy blood is on my suit! You should just die and accept it!" His words rang out to the public. Yamato looked around; why wasn't anyone doing anything!
The man's glare grew when the child started crawling away. He motioned to the group of Knights around him, who gave him another gun.
Yamato could only stare in horror, Was this man actually going to murder a child in broad daylight?
Could she do something? What would Oden do?
"He would Charge in and stop this madness." A voice whispered.
But Izuku said not to cause a commotion!
The Suited man pointed his gun at the child.
"Oden would stop him, just like with Orochi."
He pulled the trigger.
…
Yamato crushed the gun with her Kanabo, Catching the man and his entourage of knights in complete shock.
"Stop! I won't let you hurt this child!" She pointed the Kanabo at the Knights, taking them off guard, but the suited figure simply looked at his hands. He managed to take his gun off the trigger before it was smashed onto the ground when the Girl attacked him.
Getting a glance at the girl, he could tell she was beautiful. Her lovely eyes, strong muscles, and beautiful body were all showing her natural beauty.
One of the knights made to attack the violent sinner, but a hand from the Noble made them freeze in place.
"I see… Well, miss, I can see your beauty from a mile away," He said, making Yamato's anger-fueled rage turn into one of confusion. "Your grace, beauty, I only ask you one thing."
Yamato was genuinely confused. What the hell was this guy talking about?
"Become my Slave!"
She paled. Slave? As in, Slavery?
No, No way was this guy asking her something like this. She had already escaped Kaido, she didn't want to go back, please.
She didn't want to go back to that life.
She didn't get any time to respond as the knights grabbed her arms and held them in place, no matter how much she struggled, she couldn't move. How did they get past her Haki!
'Damn it! Why did I leave my Observation off!'
"Saint Parker, we've successfully managed to weigh her down." One of them said, The Noble smiled, a lecherous grin on his face echoed Yamato's Horror.
"Perfect," He said, his voice slamming emergency buttons down her feelings. "A girl like her is perfect. Make sure-"
Before he could finish, one Voice rang out, preventing the conversation from continuing.
"What are you doing."
Turning, Yamato saw Izuku, she could see that he was angry, His hair covered his eyes, blanketing them in shadow, and she could tell that he was holding in a lot of anger. His normal stance was one of pure rage.
Apparently, Saint Parker didn't see that, as he continued showing off his accomplishments. "You see peasant. I'm gaining a new slave. A commoner like you just couldn't understand could you?"
Izuku didn't hear any of it. All he could see was Yamato's look of genuine horror, as her struggle continued, the knights holding her down began to lose their grip on the panicking girl.
"Or is she your girlfriend? Perhaps it is better If I took her. Maybe she'd find peace with someone who isn't you!"
With every word he said, he got angrier and angrier. His moral code began to crack. People like this founded the World government? Were exempt from punishment?
"I'm going to give you one chance." Izuku spat out, "Let her go."
"Or what?" He asked, leaning in, waiting for the Teenagers response. "Bah, I couldn't care less," He said pulling away from the now infuriated traveler.
"You see, you can't touch me! I am a World Noble! My blood is worth far more than you will ever see in your lifetime, it's pure, and it's to show my Dominion over others!"
His words struck Izuku hard. How could a man like this exist? If a hero would act like this, they'd be fired. The HPSC would go after them to take them out.
Here, they were omnipresent. It was as if they didn't even care.
Izuku, I think it is for the best you don't overreact. There's the slight possibility you can get the girl out of there." En said, "This guy looks to be full of himself, If you can get him talking-"
Izuku didn't even hear them both. He simply looked to the side, where he saw a discarded gun, looking for the target, he saw the victim.
A child, one with a bullet hole shot through his rapidly bleeding leg. Being cried over by a little girl no older than him.
"You see Child; all of these people are my property! It does not matter that you say, for our words are final!" He then turned to his Knights, not noticing how the teen was slowly sparking.
"Make sure to shoot the girl instead. I'd like to see prey squirm."
Horror, then pure rage flooded his veins. It also seemed that the Noble stopped talking.
"Alright, let's kill him." Said the Second, the rest of the vestiges yelled at Izuku to stop, but he couldn't, all he could focus on was making sure Yamato was safe.
The Noble didn't even see it coming.
"ONE FOR ALL 100%! ONIGASHIMA SMASH!"
BLAM!
He punched the World Noble in the face.
His Muscles expanded upon the hit, making sure to prioritize the Impact.
What he didn't expect was his fist to rip through his head, coating his fist in blood, grey matter, and more, sending the rest of the body flying into a building,
Everyone went quiet.
"D-Did that kid just…" One brave individual managed to squeak out,
"Oh shit! He killed a World Noble!" another yelled out.
The knights were silent, not saying a word, and they let Yamato go.
"Izuku!"
She tacked the stunned young hero, but he didn't budge, he only looked at his hands in absolute horror.
What had he done?
"Hey! What the hell happened here!" someone yelled out, turning. The Duo saw a very tall individual who wore a Marine cap and a long coat. The marine gazed at the scene, and his face turned into one of horror.
Oh no. It was a Vice Admiral.
"Run!" Yamato yelled out, Izuku followed suit.
"After them!" Yelled Vice Admiral Lynchpin.
And that was that.
Meanwhile(again)
A lone man on a fishing boat was relaxing by the river, doing his normal routine.
Fishing for Sea Kings, you know, the usual.
Suddenly, he felt something odd. Turning, he saw a gust of wind come from the mainland.
Now, he wasn't any fool. A gust of wind can mean many things, he'd known,
After all, It took very few things to interest Silvers Rayleigh.
*Ding-Ding-Ding*
His transponder snail?
*Ka-Click*
"Hello? Shakky?" he said to his wife. Now more in a confused mood.
"Reyleigh." She said, "A world Noble was just slaughtered on the mainland. The duo is approaching Grove 13. They're sending an Admiral after them."
Shit. That's what the sudden wind change meant.
"Alright, I'll see. Damn rookie Pirates are just getting Flashier aren't they."
"Stay Safe, okay?"
His solemn face grew into a Smile. "I'm always safe. Love you Shakky."
"Love you too."
*Click!*
Well, he had some rowing to do.
Present Time
"Izuku, are you alright?" Yamato asked, finally entering the grove. Izuku hadn't spoken since they left the marines behind, but that didn't mean that she was curious.
Her Hero didn't say anything at first, but after a while, he sighed.
"I'm not alright Yamato, I just broke a moral code."
Yamato could only look off guiltily. "I'm sorry Izuku, I-"
"It wasn't your fault. Instead, it was mine. I was just so angry."
He looked around, the coast was clear, and the only building there was a place called Shakky's Rip-Off Bar.
They didn't have time to drink right now.
"I should have done better," He muttered. "Yamato, I don't blame you, I never did."
His words made the Oni girl feel better, but she still felt a sense of sadness within the young hero.
Yamato looked towards the sky, which was beginning to darken.
"We should get out of here." She said, motioning for Izuku to start the travel.
Izuku nodded, giving Yamato the Log Pose.
Yamato took it and lay atop Izuku's back.
Izuku could just wonder, What drove him to do such a thing? Was it Second? His own Anger? The Stress?
He couldn't feel anything but guilt for his actions.
Crouching, he put power into his legs and focused.
10- 50- 80- 100 percent.
His legs began charging with One for All. He looked into the sky, With this, he knew they were safe.
DANGER! FROM BEHIND!
He jumped to the side, taking Yamato by genuine Suprise, as he jumped and crashed into one of the nearby areas.
Yamato could only reel in shock. She looked at where they were previously and paled in genuine horror.
Where they once were, a sheet of stock white Ice was there, and with it, her Haki was blaring warning signals at the figure above it.
The figure was an exceptionally tall and slim man, With Well toned muscles hidden underneath the coat he wore. He had black curly hair, and tanned skin. His face was rather relaxed, but Yamato could swear she saw genuine malice behind those lazy eyes.
Izuku could only look in horror, he gazed at his opponent and froze at the cap he wore, and the White Suit Jacket. Only a few people had that jacket, and gazing at the name, he swore.
Marine Admiral Aokiji.
An Admiral.
Oh Shit.
"So," Admiral Aokiji lazily said. "You managed to kill a World Noble. I can't say that I'm surprised, but…"
He lay down on his sheet of ice.
"Most of those World Nobles are jerks. You wouldn't be the first person to do it, and possibly get away with it." The admiral said, now turning his head towards the young teenagers.
He sighed, "Welp, I don't really have a choice here, it's dying or Impel Down for you two." He began to get back up from the sheet, but before he could, he turned towards the forest.
He could have sworn his Haki picked up something… eh, it could wait. He should just ice these kids and go on his way.
He looked towards the duo and noticed their genuine fear.
Damn.
He hated this part of the job.
"Well," He said, rolling up his muscles and letting his arms show. "Time to die I guess."
He put his hand on the ground.
"Ice Time."
Izuku could only hear the small words before Danger Sense blared at him to get off the ground.
He activated Full Cowl and burst off the ice before it could freeze over. Yamato turned full beast and jumped into the trees.
What was originally hard dirt became Frozen Ice, laying across the entire grove.
Aokiji simply stood in the middle, knowing the two would eventually come down.
And then, Izuku went flying down.
Placing One For All into his fingers, he launched the blasts of wind at the admiral.
"Delaware Smash!" He shouted, wind firing on all cylinders towards the admiral, who simply took it, letting Izuku get close.
"Houston Smash!" a Punch to the gut, only to reel in pain at the icy cold feeling his arm had.
He launched himself back down the path and looked at his arm.
It… wasn't good.
It was frozen over. Only partially, but still! Yamato mentioned Devil Fruits having certain abilities, but what did this admiral have? It wasn't Zoan for sure, then he paled.
The Admiral was a Logia. An Ice one.
He turned his body into ice, not only to absorb the blow but to freeze his arm in retaliation!
Yamato seemed to get the memo, and she used Her Kanabo to trade blows with the Admirals' bare, and shining Black hands.
Izuku saw his opportunity, Dashing towards the ice, he used Blackwhip to guide himself on the trees, allowing him to launch towards the Admiral!
Aokiji was battling against the Oni girl, who had resistance to his ice, trading blows with her, he was surprised at her tenacity. He then saw her teeth, a Zoan, of course.
He changed targets, stopped using his ice with his Armament, and aimed up on the Kanabo instead of hitting her in the arms, catching the girl off guard, making her miss, and letting Him get a hit in on her stomach with a full-blown Hit with Armament. It took Yamato's wind out, letting the Admiral deck her across the face, and sent her flying into the building nearby, unconscious.
He then turned and saw a genuinely enraged Izuku strike him with what would have been a lethal blow, but he was a logia, so he ate that for breakfast. He turned himself into ice and punched the young teenager in the Stomach, sending him sprawling to the ground, Ice now beginning to cover his body.
"Sorry kid," He droned, "You had no chance. Even hotshot rookie pirates can't handle an admiral." He looked at the downed Izuku, who started to get back up.
Aokiji picked him up and held his face up to his. He noticed the glare the kid gave him, and his face still held his mask of professionalism.
"What, are you preparing some speech or something?"
Izuku could only look at him with a genuine glare.
"No, just this." and Breathed Hard.
BOOM!
Aokiji was knocked back by the blow, and Izuku got back onto the ground.
Crap, Fa Jin wasn't meant to be used in such a way before. He should head to Yamato, and fast before the Admiral caught up.
He made over to the Downed girl, who was starting to get up despite the pain she recently underwent.
"Izuku?" she said, holding her head in pain. Izuku nodded "Yeah, I think I bought us some time, lets's get out of here."
She took his outstretched hand and got back up, her Observation on point, detecting no one.
Izuku could only wonder.
Was this what he caused?
"IZUKU WATCH-" he heard Yamato Scream before Danger sense went off like a bomb.
He didn't have any time to run, and Ice cold hand landed on his shoulder.
"Ice Age."
Pain.
His whole arm was now frozen.
Aokiji was glaring at him, this time, with genuine anger.
His suit was covered in Scratch marks, and his hair was slightly aflame.
"I'm surprised. I went easy on you." He said, his voice now holding venom. Oh shit, Izuku was going to die.
"Guess I should have listened to Garp." He then turned his entire arm black, and shards of black ice began to form.
"You got to stamp out the bugs when they show their true selves."
Izuku braced himself for death, apologizing to the ones he failed, to Kacchan, to All Might, To Yamato.
I'm Sorry.
"Well now."
CLANG!
Midoriya opened his eyes, only to reel in shock at what was happening.
A sword, black as midnight was blocking the Admiral From killing him.
Looking at the figure, Izuku could just tell that he was powerful. The white Hair and scars showed it, His tall figure was packed with powerful Muscles, much more than what All Might had ever shown. His most distinguishing feature was his glasses, and his Sword, gleaming black as midnight.
"Reyleigh!" the Admiral said, shock filling his words.
"Heya Kuzan, Long time no see."
