Omake: Who wants to marry a Hero?

By Arakiisjogenius

"What do you mean he and Kaido's brat are talking about having kids?!"

"Oh, this isn't good," Perospero muttered as he struggled not to shrink in on himself. His siblings were also sweating as their mother raged into the Transponder Snail.

"I'm sorry Mama, but I did overhear them talking about Yamato becoming a mother. Now, she never said anything about wanting to have his children, she just voiced her worries that she may be an inadequate mother one day," Leech assured over the line.

"So?! Women do not just bring up having kids with their male friends like that! You!" She rounded on one of her female assistants that usually backed up her songs. "Does that sound like something two friends would just talk about?"

The woman gulped nervously. "No mama, it does sound like it... implies a closer connection between the two."

"SEE?!"

"Well yes, but Yamato never said anything like "When we have kids" or "Do you really want to be with a woman like me?" it is possible that their relationship is strictly platonic. At the least, I do not see any sign that they are actually romantically involved at this time," Leech hastily added.

Some of the tension left Big Mom's shoulders and her kids relaxed slightly.

"So, there's time? If we get the offer to him fast enough do you think he would take it?"

"Maybe? I saw him interact with a waitress earlier today. She was around his age, with brown hair, and fairly cute. She flirted with him and he blushed and seemed slightly interested so I can confirm he is heterosexual. But..."

Everyone from Katatkuri to Smoothie tensed as Leech paused.

"He seems to value freedom. His travels with Yamato seem to be more about seeing the world than anything else. You would have to offer him the freedom to continue exploring otherwise I don't think he would go for it."

"Oh, is that all? I could easily offer to send him on missions around the world with whichever of my daughters he marries."

"I think that may work, but I would hurry. If Yamato does make a move I know he wouldn't break up with her for whatever you offer. They're too close. Wait, they're moving again. Permission to pursue?"

"Granted."

The line cut off with a click as Leech began to tail them again.

Katakuri, the brave soul that he was, broke the silence. "By the sounds of it, our best bet may be to offer him someone around his age who wants to marry him."

Smoothie quickly added her two cents," I may have an idea. You see, some of our younger sisters have crushes on him thanks to his whole "hero" persona. I saw Allmeg and Newshi teasing Harumeg for having his poster on her wall. She's blossoming quite nicely and is starting to gather male attention and I think she would be happy to marry The Green Demon."

"Isn't she a bit young though?" Cracker interrupted. "She's only 14."

"That's the clever part," Smoothie answered happily. "We can offer him an engagement, a chance to get to know each other for two years. Midoriya can continue to travel, with Harumeg if he wants, so he can continue to see the world as he desires while Harumeg becomes of age."

"A bit unorthodox," Snack chimed in," But we don't have any leverage on Midoriya so we have to make more concessions than usual. What do you think, Mama?"

Big Mom pondered for a few minutes. It wasn't how she usually liked to do this, but Snack had a point.

"Katakuri, gather Tamago, Pekoms, and Harumeg. Tell them to come here so I can explain the plan. Have Struesen make a gift for the boy and his friend. Perospero, I want you to go with them and explain to the boy all the wonders we have in Tottoland; all the different races who live in harmony, all the unique sights to see, all the delicious food, and the freedom that our crew's power could give him. Remember, do not threaten him. We can just try again later. We need him to willingly fight for us and father children."

The other flinched a bit at the implications. Even if Harumeg would be open to marrying the boy, she would likely be encouraged to have a very large family. Fortunately, she took after their mother's stature more than her siblings, so there would be less... strain.

'I'm sorry about this sister, but at least Mirdoriya seems like he would be an agreeable husband.'
