Dynamight of the New World Part 2

The fibers that were wrapping around his mouth loosened, allowing Bakugo to have something that was denied to him. Air. After a few moments gasping, Bakugo turned his attention to the being responsible, his shitty Vice-Admiral with bad fashion sense that was just below the other main shitty food-on-his-face VIce Admiral Vergo

And now he has to later deal with the embodiment of second hand smoke Smoker. Shame, he actually liked him….just a bit.

Said shitty Vice-Admiral with horrendous fashion sense (who the fuck wears a pants leg as a shirt) that was still restraining him was sitting in the chair in front of him with tea of all things.

"Do you want some tea Bakugo?"

"Fuck you turtle pants neck."

"Now, now let's not be rude. If anything you should be thanking me. I did save you from no doubt being hurt in the inevitable explosion you and Tashigi were about ready to take a swan dive in."

"I was going to propel myself away from her so she would take an explosive dip while I was safe."

"Of course, of course, Rear-Admiral, oh wait, upon his return, Vice-Admiral Smoker would be glad to hear that. Tell me, did you wait for him and Vergo to head to marine HQ for the ceremony to start another fight with Tashigi? What was the reason you two had another fight this time?

"Fucking bitches Dad got promoted to the shitty vice admiral position and she thinks that it gives her the right to tell me what to do."

"Why not, isn't she technically your superior along with Smoker anyway?"

"She's weaker than me. Weaker people don't get to boss me around. Especially if they have to now hide behind a Vice-sellout heads ass"

"Well I'm not weaker than you, yet you have trouble listening to me."

"Because I fucking hate you and others like you."

"Mmh." Hakamada put down his tea and leaned forward on his chair. "Now tell me, what have I done in the couple of months you were transferred here to G-5 to earn your ir? Last time I checked all I did was try to curb your destructive tendencies into something more presentable much like I do for others here?"

Bakugo growled. "All you did was give me a lecture and comb my hair. I am an asshole, but I am not going to be like the rest of the snobby jerks you created."

"Do you really hate me so much because I tried to comb your hair and teach you politeness?" Hakamada questioned.

"No, I hate you, Vergo, and now Smoker because you shitheads go on and on about "proper" justice when you vice admirals are just the fucking worse."

Hakamada remained silent for a moment. "Bakugo. First things first. I want you to realize that continually insulting me, Vergo, and now Smoker is a very bad thing for you. Technically speaking I am in full rights granted by my position to hand you the correct…and permanent punishment. However, I don't want to do that. I have been looking at your record and exactly why someone as promising as you was transferred here to what is essentially the dumping ground of marines no one wants. Do you mind if I relay you your history so I can understand you better?"

"Does it look like I have a fucking choice!" Bakugo all but yelled. Squirming in his own clothing that was restraining him.

"Considering you can blast yourself out any time I believe you do, but at the same time you're much smarter than that." Hakamada snarked.

"But let's start at the beginning shall we. Katsuki Bakugo, eater of the Nitro Nitro fruit and a rookie marine recruit right after the Marineford War. At the beginning everyone was giving you high marks. You were strong, determined, and were very proficient in your devil fruit. In only a couple of months you were promoted above rank and file to Lieutenant Commander and then to Captain in the next following months due to your showcase in the Rocky Port Incident alongside Captain Koby.

"Fucking nerd." Bakugo said silently.

"Yes, yes, I have heard stories about the training incident you had with him a while ago after the event where you basically tried to kill him. Some detailed about how utterly reckless and outright stupid your willingness for friendly fire was. Others, such as your future superiors Vice Admiral Doberman and Onigumo saw your actions as correct. That Koby was in the way of your "justice" and that the blame lies with him. In fact you impressed them so much they took you straight to G-7, to act as a Captain underneath them." Hakamada exclaimed.

Bakugo glared hatefully at the mention of Doberman and Onigumo. Hakamada noticed.

"Then after your transfer, everything went to hell for you. While you showcased initial promise in leading strike forces succeeding in quite a bit of missions, eventually there were reports about your insubordination and unwillingness to follow orders that got you demoted. Speaking of, the only information I could find about your orders was that they were heavily redacted. And then you attacked Onigumo and…"

"THAT FUCKING BASTARD DESERVED IT." Bakugo began to shout and pour nitroglycerin from his head that poured over his restraints. With a click of his teeth the liquid exploded. Hakamada stood and activated his Tekkai and he felt the shock wave and heat wash over him. He wasn't hurt by any means, as evidenced by him simply standing in place as the smoke cleared showcasing Bakugo without any of his restraints.

"I have worked with both Doberman and Onigumo before. They are…sadly followers of the…unneeded justice the Fleet Admiral strives for." Hakamada said, trying to defuse the situation and calm down the young man. "It's because I have worked with them that I have an idea about exactly what happened to cause your anger, buts it's perhaps better if you properly explain to me what happened."

"WHY THE FUCK DO YOU CARE!"

"Because I see a young man who, while troubled and rough, clearly has aspects that "absolute justice" did not like. Bakugo, I understand you don't like me or anyone for that matter, but I am only trying to help. I personally follow "Fashionable Justice" where one must make decisions where everyone comes out looking their best to the most of my ability. Now, tell me what happened."

Bakugo was still angry, but after a long minute calmed down enough to talk. "I was given a platoon to go to Hosu Island. Apparently the townsfolk there on the eastern end of the island teamed up with a bunch of pirates and were raiding the nearby towns. The fucking dog and spider told me to go down and deal with the pirates and the rebelling townsfolk.

I was told to do what I normally do, create explosions and leave basically everything in rubble. However, because we were dealing with civilians, I got a bad feeling in my stomach. So I had my annoying but useful subordinate Hanta Sero lead a small group down to investigate and come back. When he got back, it turned out the pirates had already left, and the town was basically in ruins. Apparently the pirates strong-armed the town to help raid and loot other villages by kidnapping a bunch of local children. Then after a few raids, the pirates seemed to have had enough and left, though not without destroying the town in the process. He suggested we give them what medical supplies we had. I agreed, and ordered the men to build a ramshack shelter for everyone that was left. and we then left.

"A kind decision. What made you believe the townsfolk were forced to act as part of a pirate crew?" Hakamada questioned.

"Because they were bloodied to shit and half the town was on fire." Bakugo said gruffly. "They were bloody weaklings, but there were a lot of them so of course any good New World pirate crew could subdue them and use them as basically cannon fodder against the other towns."
"I am guessing Onigumo and Doberman did not take the news well?" At this point, Hakamada knew what the next part of the story was going to entail based on the reports he investigated.

Bakugo was silent for a few moments. "No, they weren't. What they wanted me to do was go in and blast the town and everyone in there to bits. They said that because they were vice-admirals their orders were to be carried out to the absolute measure. The townsfolk worked with pirates, so they were now pirates. I objected and brought Sero to them in order to explain what happened…but the fucking spider didn't care, and shot him. He was an annoying fuck with a weird tape power, but he didn't deserve that….so I attacked the damn bug before he could kill him for good…and got beat."

Hakamada was silent for a few seconds, adjusting his pants leg shirt before looking back at Bakugo.

"I see, I am sorry for what happened. I only imagine you're alive at this moment because Onigumo and Doberman still saw potential in you. Apparently their reasoning for sending you here was akin to a "timeout" until you were able to "come to your senses." I want you to understand something Lieutenant, if they wanted you to learn your lesson, they sent you to the wrong place. Despite the terrible reputation G-5 has, Vergo, myself, and now Smoker, are here to teach you how to carry out justice the proper way. Not by absolute measures, but by what you believe is right. It's not perfect, lord knows that not everyone here takes my lessons seriously, Vergo is inspirational but is also lackadaisical, and Smoker is actually very much like you in a sense. But believe me right now, this place is where you belong, not because you were demoted by monsters, but it's because I know it's where your "Explosive Justice" can shine."

Bakugo upon hearing that actually relaxed a little. He was still apprehensive towards the vice-admiral, but it was clear his words had an effect on him.

"Now then, for your punishment we are going to go out to the courtyard and dismiss Tashigi and the rest. You and I will finish cleaning up what they were not able to. After you apologize to her of course"

Bakugo looked at the Vice-Admiral…and just looked like he was annoyed much in the same way a young kid would.

"Ugh, can't I tell her that I am sorry but go fuck herself at the same time?"

"Well if what some of the rumors I have overheard is correct it's you who would like to perform that particular action."

"WHO FUCKING SAID THAT?! I'LL KILL THEM!"

"I will let her dad know that when he comes back now that you said that, if anything he would want to do the same thing. Perhaps you two can use that as a bonding experience, Pant-su-su-su-su."
