What they don't know
"Clare!" I pulled away from Fitz's mouth and looked over at the door and saw my mum standing there frowning standing next to some guy in a suit,
"Hey mum and mum's new boyfriend." I said casually, Fitz nodded towards my mum
"Miss Edwards how's work?" Fitz asked, I kissed him on the cheek,
"It was ok Mr Fitzgerald but if you don't mind I think you should go right now so I can talk with my daughter." My mum said, I sighed, Fitz bent down and picked up his shirt, he put it on, and he got off my bed and leaned down and kissed me
"See you tomorrow." I said, he smiled and turned to leave,
"See you Clare and Miss Edwards." He said before leaving. I turned to my mum
"Is there any specific reason you disrupted me and Fitz?" I asked her,
"Clare this is Mike Reynolds and we're engaged." My mum said flashing me the ring,
"Really?" I asked disbelievingly, my mum nodded,
"Yes, he moves in on Tuesday and on Wednesday we will be getting married." She said, Mike walked over to me and handed me my blouse. I smiled at him sweetly and slipped it on, not bothering to do up the buttons I got up off the bed,
"I'll let you too get better acquainted." My mum said before leaving the room
"When did you too get together?" I asked as I walked over to the mirror hanging on the wall, I could see his reflection in the mirror,
"At your birthday party last month, I must say that you did make quite an entrance." He said, I smirked,
"Wow, so would you say you're in love with my mum?" I asked him, he folded his arms over his chest.
"I do love her." He said, I turned around and walked over to him
"Good." I said,
"I'm glad you approve." He said, I nodded
"Yes and make sure you be a good boy." I said before walking past him.
