Note: I've had this written on my laptop forever! and I figure I should just post it! What the heck! What's the worst that could happen?
"I have a surprise for you, my dear," Orochimaru said as he looked at his pupil sitting in front of him. Today was her birthday, October twenty fourth, three days before his own.
"A surprise?" she asked a bit innocently although her curiosity was at its peak. She was practically bouncing in her seat from excitement at the prospect of what her sensei would give her.
"Close your eyes," he ordered, and she obeyed, closing them tightly. She opened her eyes a bit to see if her sensei was watching but quickly shut them when he caught her. He slipped something over her head that rested around her neck, a necklace. "Alright, you may open them now."
She opened her brown eyes, staring down at the pendant around her neck. It was a simple leather cord hanging from her neck to halfway down her chest. At the bottom hung a small pendent that appeared to be a snake fang.
She looked in awe at her new necklace. It seemed so beautiful to her, she could not help but feel thankful to her sensei. Anko threw her arms around him, hugging him tightly.
"Thank you, Sensei," she said.

Anko stared into her hand at the pendent that still hung from that same leather cord from so many years ago. She did not know why she still wore it around her neck. Maybe to remind her of what she had lived through with her snake sensei.
Or maybe it was to remind her that her feelings toward him were not all bad. Maybe it was a sign that she actually missed him.

yeah I honestly don't know what I'm thinking with this since it's sooo short! But it plays out so nicely in my head! Anko-chan would be so gosh darn adorable! (bouncing in her seat and all that) I don't know... maybe it's just me!
