This is an old story I came up with last year,but I decided I'd write it now...Enjoy.
"GAHHHH!" Yuki the Wolf screamed as Silver the Hedgehog hit the floor with a thud"...well...looks like I win..." Mephiles the Dark said, dusting off his hands and transforming out of his Crystalline form"...one thing you should know is never bet on Silver in a battle with me...now...my prize..." Mephiles held out his hand,Yuki grunted and dug into her pocket. She pulled out a black and light red key "here" she dropped the key in his hand. Mephiles looked at the key, when he looked up,Yuki was gone "...I should of known you would pull something like this Yuki..."he walked away and left Silver there. Mephiles stood on top of a tall pillar, looking at the key "...where do you go..." he asked it. He closed his eyes, feeling the past energy the key had. Pictures flashed though his head...a black house...Yuki was coming out of it locking the door with the key...The pictures disappeared"...what are you hiding there Yuki..." To Mephiles, this meant a chance to find something worth taking. He jumped off of the pillar, landing in front of a car, causing it to spin out of control and crash into another. He laughed and walked away slowly like he did ,for some odd reason, wanted to find this house. He ran down every street and every block, unable to find it."...grrr..." he punched the brick wall next to him in anger"...where is this place you belong to..." he said looking at the key "causing trouble again I see..." Mephiles looked up to see Shadow the Hedgehog leaning against a tree "...hello Shadow...you look...well..." Shadow gave a faint chuckle "so, what's with the short temper today?" Mephiles turned away "...as much as I consider you a brother...this is nothing for you to get involved in..." Mephiles looked back at the key "what's that?" Shadow walked over to look at the key, then at Mephiles "why do you have her key?" he asked. In a split second, Shadow was pinned against the wall with Mephiles' hand around his neck "who's key!" he shouted "calm down, and I'll tell you" Shadow said, he let go of his neck and let him down. Shadow inhaled before telling Mephiles " it's to Yuki's sister's house" Mephiles looked at him "She lives down this street" Shadow pointed down the street they were standing on, the only street Mephiles didn't bother to check. He turned and left Shadow, walking down the street until he came to the house. He looked at the key, then walked up to the door and knocked on it.
