Nanaha: we don't own Mephiles, Sonic or Shadow

Nanaha just sat there with a shocked look on her face. Mephiles waited for her to say something. "I-I'm sorry..." Mephiles said, he wanted her to be happy with him, but it was not going the way he planned. Nanaha just got up and walked upstairs. There was a knock on the door, Mephiles ignored it for a while, then got up and opened it. The minute Mephiles saw that blue hedgehog, rage grew inside him. He grabbed his arm and teleported them to the field. He threw Sonic on the ground and transformed into his crystalline form "YOU! THIS IS ALL YOU'RE FAULT!" Mephiles yelled at Sonic "I thought they were non-alcoholic!" he was getting ready to fight if needed.

"Hey!" they both looked over to see Shadow walking towards them "What's going on?" he asked as Sonic got up and whispered into Shadow's ear. He couldn't believe what he just heard "whoa...are you-" "yes..." Shadow smacked Sonic "owe!" "That's for being stupid!" Mephiles started to get an odd feeling...he looked around "Something wrong?" Shadow asked "Do you guys…feel that…" "Feel what?" Sonic questioned .Mephiles ran off, Shadow and Sonic following. Mephiles looked around for the source of the odd feeling he was getting, and he soon found it. Nanaha was lying on the grass he turned back into his normal form and picked her up, Shadow and Sonic soon joined him.

"Is she...okay?" Sonic asked "I don't know…" Mephiles looked at the gem on her chest, remembering how it changed to her health, and was surprised to see it was getting darker and darker. "We have to get her to the hospital, now!" He ran as Shadow and Sonic followed. Mephiles looked at Nanaha,"...Please be okay..." he whispered, his eyes almost started to tear up, when Sonic and Shadow caught up to him "Mephiles...Are you...okay?" he pulled back the tears "I'm fine!" he yelled at Shadow and ran ahead, leaving them behind. Shadow stopped, Sonic stopped a few feet ahead, backed up and looked at Shadow "Mephiles is...growing feelings...he's fallen in love with Nanaha..." Shadow begun to run again "H-hey wait for me!" Shadow ran back to Sonic "No, you go get Yuki, tell her to meet me at the hospital, and tell her I'll answer anything she wants to know there" "Got it!" and Sonic was off and so was Shadow.

Mephiles ran through the doors of the hospital "Help! Please! My friend is very sick!" two doctors ran up to him" Can you please tell me what happened?" the female doctor asked him "I don't know! I found her passed out in a field. She was sick a day ago" a few nurses rushed over with a bed, Mephiles laid her down and watched them take her away. He sat in one of the chairs, it was at this point, he couldn't hold back the tears anymore.

Mephiles put his face into his hands"...please...be okay Nanaha...please..." Shadow walked through the door holding Yuki's hand, Sonic followed behind them. Yuki ran to Mephiles and knelt next to him "please cheer up Mephiles, she'll be fine. Nanaha is strong and...and..." Yuki started to cry, Shadow put his hand on Yuki's shoulder. She got up and cried into Shadow's chest fur; he rubbed her back, trying to calm her "She'll be fine Yuki" Mephiles looked at the floor 'I hope she'll be…'

Nanaha: why do I have to be the one that diesD:

Me: you're not dead…don't worry

Nanaha: oh…

Me: R&R!

Nanaha: hey that's my line!

Me: *whimper*how come Nana got to say it…

Nanaha: WHERE IS SHE! *stomps off*
