Nanaha: we don't own Mephiles or Rouge
Mephiles soon awoke and got up, remembering what had just happened. He saw a blue gem at his feet. Nanaha's heart. He picked it up, and by the looks of it, she was unharmed and well. But Mephiles still had to find her; he didn't know where to start. The first thing that came to his mind 'Rouge' She was pretty good at finding hidden place, so he decided to seek help from the bat. He grasped Nanaha's heart and begun to run to Rouge's house.
As Nanaha slowly begun to awake, she discovered her mouth was covered by an air mask and she was in a tank of a blue-ish liquid. She saw people all around her, one walked up to her tank" Nice to see you are awake...Project Doom's Day" she felt too weak to do anything but just float in the water and listen to what the man had to say "I am Isaac of The Sins. And you are our weapon for world domination. That is and always will be the only reason you live" Nanaha just looked at him 'I wasn't created for that…this human tells lies…' "If you choose to not listen to us"... he pointed to Nanaha's waist, were a bronze metal belt was now placed "...we know that you have a growing child inside of you...disobey any of our orders and that belt will send a voltage so strong through your body, it will kill the developing embryo and possibly you, as well..." Nanaha's eyes grew wide. Just the thought of her and Mephiles' unborn child dying before it even had a chance to live sicken her.
He walked up closer to the tank "Do I make myself clear?" Even though she would regret it, she nodded, agreeing to do as told. Isaac nodded to another man, the tank emptied and the glass lifted up; the mask was removed from her mouth "You will be watched over by Haze" The blue and red hedgefox walked up to Nanaha "He will make sure you don't try to escape. Bring her to your room, Haze" "Yes, commander!"
Isaac walked away, Haze turned to Nanaha and put his arm around her "It's so nice to see you again, my love…" he smiled a cold smile, his entire mouth filled with razor sharp teeth "Hm…sadly I don't feel the same way..." she growled at him. Suddenly, they were in a different room, Nanaha jumped in surprise "You should be grateful…I saved you from that monster…who knows what he could of done to you if I hadn't interfered…" He brought her closer "Mephiles isn't a monster and he was trying to protect me…" "Well…he did a terrible job…let's make a deal…" Nanaha growled "Why should I make a deal with you?" "Do you want your child to live?" her ears fell "…What is the deal you have in mind…"
He smirked and let go of her "When your child is born, instead of draining it of all life, I will let it live and I will help you raise it as if it were my own…" She was relieved to hear he wouldn't kill it, but the thought of Haze being a father to her child gave her a chill "but…in order for that to happen...you have to kill Mephiles…" Nanaha gasped "I should have known you and your twisted mind would have me do something like that…" "I'm not finished…if you do agree, you'll be making the right choice, but if you do happen to say no…" a remote appeared in his hand "…We can say bye bye and get it over with now…" She didn't know what to do…both options were terrible ones. "It's…" she froze up for a minute "…It's a deal…" he smirked "Wonderful choice, my dear…he is going to try to come here…the day we dominate this city is the day you will destroy him…seeing the look of pure betrayal on his face will bring joy to my heart!" Haze laughed as Nanaha looked at the ground 'What…what did I just do...' She just made a deal with the devil himself.
Rouge! Open up!" Mephiles banged at her door until it opened "Mephiles...it's 3 in the morning...what do you ne-" It was at this point she saw the tears and the terror in Mephiles' eyes "N-Nanaha has been k-kidnapped...P-please Rouge...I beg of you...H-help me find her...".She let him come in, he sat on the couch and looked at Nanaha's heart, she was still alive and well, but he could feel sadness and pain emitting form the gem "Who took her?" Rouge asked as she started to clean Mephiles' forehead, which he now noticed was bleeding.
"I didn't see the other one...but I saw a blue and red hedgefox tie and gag her..." Rouge sighed "oh…" Mephiles winced as she dabbed a cotton ball to the wound "The blue and red hedgefox was Haze, he was Nanaha's prototype, and the other must have been Stephan. I would often work with Stephan when Shadow was too busy with other things. One day we were assigned a mission track down Haze because he was murdering others. We had to fight him, which ended in me having a concussion and Stephen falling to Haze's mind control. He was forced to join The Sins"
She finished cleaning it and put a band-and on his wound "They must need her for Project Doom's Day..." This captured Mephiles' attention "What is that?" "They are planning to find anyone who was involved in Project Reborn, and use them to dominate the world. And after they have everyone at their power, they are planning to kill them all and make a new race of stronger Mobians. They must be using Nanaha and Haze for the plan" "How are they going to make a stronger race?" "They most likely will have Haze and Nanaha give birth to them..."
Mephiles' hand clenched into a fist, thinking about how nice it would feel if he got the chance to smash Haze's face in if he even touched Nanaha. He stood up, the tears and terror in his eyes replaced by hate and anger "Tell me where I need to go" Rouge flew up the stairs and a few minutes later, flew back down with a watch and a small backpack. She placed the watch around his wrist "This has a map on it, and if you need back-up, just press this button and I will come." She handed him the backpack "this has some things you might need" she unzipped it and pulled out a small gun "these bullets have a DNA structure destabilize in them, if you get a clear shot, hit Haze with one. It will corrupt his DNA and make his powers vanish, so he won't be much of a problem after that, but this is only good for 5 shots, so make them count"
She placed it back into the bag and ran over to the cabinet; she opened the doors and pulled out green and purple gemstones "and...You might need these..." Rouge placed the two Chaos Emeralds into the bag and zipped it back up "you sadly can't just dissolve and get to their base, I don't know why but you can't. You have to go by foot and head straight in. There are some gauds but they are pretty easy to take out" Mephiles smiled "thank you, Rouge" she smiled back. He put the backpack on and walked to the door, waving good bye to her.
Me: this took me all day…
Nanaha: See! Nothing good ever happens in your stories!
