Me: this is like…the last chapter
Nanaha: I love this one!
Me: of course you do…oh and I think you own me something…
Nanaha: *sigh* I'm sorry for saying none of your stories end happy…
Me: thank you
Nanaha: we don't own Mephiles or Shadow
Mephiles brought Nanaha to the hospital after the battle with Haze. Her wing was broken in a few places, and she had lost a great amount of blood, but she was going to live. Since the bullet went straight through, it didn't have a chance to release the destabilizer into her, and she was able to keep her powers. As for the baby…the gemstones on the outfit the scientists made for her absorbed most of the shock, resulting in her only feeling a bit of it, and saving her and the baby's life.
After Mephiles sent the distress signal back at The Sins headquarters, Rouge and some other gun agents arrived soon after and everyone was arrested. Rouge was even able to save Stephen. Mephiles sent Shadow to retrieve Haze's body, but to their surprise, it was missing, and there were no reports of a dead body being discovered either. This stumped them for a while. Mephiles, Shadow and Sonic would go out on late night searches but nothing ever came up. Everyone soon agreed to dismiss the problem and go on with their lives.
A few months later…
Mephiles paced back and forth as Yuki and Shadow watched.
"Uh…Mephiles are you alright…?" Shadow asked
"Who, me? Yeah I'm just fine…"
"You're nervous aren't't you?"
He sighed "A little…after what happened…what if there's something wrong with her? I mean…she could have a dysfunctional body part or she could have a health problem or-"
"Mephiles calm down! She'll be fine!" Yuki yelled
"Y-you're right…she'll be fine…I just have to calm down…"
Alice walked out and tapped him on the shoulder "Mephiles"
He jumped a bit before turning around "Oh…it's just you…"
She laughed and smiled "You can come back now"
He looked at Shadow and Yuki, who were motioning him to go. He laughed and followed Alice.
"Hey…A-Alice…"
"Hm?"
He looked away "Is…is there anything wrong with her…?"
"There is one thing...but you and Nanaha should talk about it...
Mephiles whimpered a bit " I way hoping she would be okay...
Alice stopped and opened a door "I'll leave all of you alone for a while, and come back soon" Mephiles walked in and she closed the door behind him.
Nanaha looked up and smiled "Hey…" he walked over to her.
"Alice told me...something was wrong with her..." he looked into the light pink blanket.
Inside was a little sleeping hedge wolf. She had a blue muzzle and white ear insides. Her ears and tail where tipped with black, and so was her hair at the ends. She gave a yawn and her eyelids lifted revealing icy light blue eyes. She turned to Mephiles and giggled a bit.
"Alice checked her and she keeps saying that she's blind...but every time I show her my hand she knows it's there and grabs it"
"That's odd..."
"But...she's still fine..." Nanaha smiled.
Mephiles looked at Nanaha "Yes…she is…"
Alice walked in the room "Did you talk about it?"
Mephiles nodded "What now?"
Alice smiled "Now we name her! Have you chosen anything?"
Mephiles looked down " I...really didn't think of anything..."
Nanaha smiled "Her name is Destiny..." he turned and looked at her.
"That's a beautiful name…great choice…" Alice smiled and walked out.
"Why did you choose that?" Mephiles asked her.
She shrugs "It seems…fitting for her…"
"Well…it's a nice name…" he kissed her on the head as the little baby giggled and cooed for attention.
He smiled "Oh fine" and kissed Destiny on the head as well.
Me: School just started so sorry…
Nanaha: *whimpering* it was so beautiful!
Me: Well this story is over! Sorry it was so short and fast but nonetheless, I hope you enjoyed it! Idk if I'll make another story or a sequel to this one…since not a lot of people read this one…
Nanaha: aww don't be so down!
Me: I hope more people read my stories later on in the future…but for now…Byez^^
