Longer Story Notes:
Yeah, I'm a bad bad author. It takes me so long to update. This is because of a number of reasons. I went to college which kept me busy with homework and jobs. Also when I started this fanfiction in high school, I had a much different perspective than I do now on a great many topics including my understanding of the characters and the plot. I realized that I wasn't writing characterizations based on canon, but fanon in some places. It made it hard for me to get back into the story. The original plot I had constricted the story and characer and honestly, seemed pretty generic and had plot holes one could dance in. The edited plot might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it will be more expansive as it deals with the consequences of Angelus's actions for Sunnydale and the Order of Aurelius. I'm also re-editing the fanfiction in many places so look forward to better grammar, sentence structure, and the filling of plot holes. The story is still Willow/Angel(us) but as we all know, with those two, nothing is simple.
I have gotten some PMs on the subject of Buffy. I want to clarify my feelings. I did go through a brief Buffy bashing stage, but I've grown much more fond of her. Especially the Buffy of the early seasons before so much death had hardened her. I'm not going to bash her so if you are looking for that, this isn't the fic for you. Buffy is Willow's best friend and will play an even larger role in the story later on. I stick to a no character bashing code.
Some have wondered what Franz looks like and I've always imagined him as resembling Ewan McGregor or Alan Tudyk trying to hide his good looks behind a boring suit and bland demeanor.
I love reviews so don't hesitate to comment on the story even if you leave critical feedback. I'm a big girl with a thick skin who wants to know where her writing sucks and especially if she is making any continuity errors. I want to thank everyone who has read this fanfiction over the years and has stuck by it. Thanks to those who reviewed out of the blue just to encourage me to continue. Thanks those to told me that I captured their imagination. Thank you, guys, your reviews really brightened me up and helped me through my long writer's block when I lost faith in my writing ability.
