Disclaimer: I do not own. If I did Jane and Maura would be a couple and having lots of sex.

A/N: This is the first Rizzoli and Isles fanfic I have ever done so please be kind. I apologize in advance if the characters seem OOC, but I will try to keep them like they are in the show.

"Don't go down there. The killer is hiding in the basement."

"You've seen to many horror movies Joey. It's just the dog." Celeste shook her head and rolled her eyes, a little smile playing at her lips from Joey's nonsense.

"The news said someone escaped from the mental hospital on Pine, that's five minutes from here!"

"Oh will you just stop already? Look, go get some candles and I'll-"

"Celeste he's behind you!" Joey screamed, reaching for Celeste's arm.

"No, this cannot be happening to me again! Frankie can you check the fuse box?" Putting my head in my hands I groaned at the black laptop screen for the third time tonight.

As I waited for the power to pop back on like it had the last two times Frankie flipped the switch, I realized I hadn't received an answer from her. Getting up I groaned as my knees popped back in place from me sitting on them for so long.

Walking down the hallway towards the living room, I poked my head into each of the rooms that I passed looking for my silent girlfriend. "Oh pretty candles, how romantic Frankie."

About two dozen white candles lit up the living room while dishes were placed on the dining room table and a bottle of wine sat unopened next to a vase full of roses.

"I really need to get the first draft of my story done for Mr. Ashkins fiction writing class, so this is no time to try to use the blackout to get into my pants." I called out to her, smiling when I bent down and buried my nose in the sweet smelling roses. Plucking a rose from the vase I twirled it between my fingers and walked into the kitchen.

The door to the basement was open so I poked my head around the corner and called out to her.

"Frankie, are you down there? If you jump out at me I swear I will not have sex with you for a month."

The only reply I got was a deep laugh coming from the darkness of the basement. That laugh did not belong to the person I was looking for.

"Frankie…" The hairs on the back of my neck stood up and my stomach dropped.

A flashlight beam appeared and I heard heavy boots walking towards the stairs of the basement. Trying to get my legs to move but they wouldn't because of fear, a large man appeared with a knife to my girlfriend's throat in one hand, the other hand covering her mouth. I gasped and dropped the rose on the ground.

"Hello Amy, it's so nice to see you again. I see you got my roses." He smiled and I could see it even though he had a ski mask on.

Frankie bit his hand and he pulled it away, swearing.

"Amy run, go get help!"

I locked my eyes with her and she nodded her head, telling me it was okay to leave her. I ran into the living room and spotted Frankie's cell phone on the dining table and flipped it open. Dialling 911, I screamed as a second man in a ski mask stalked towards me.

"911, what is your emergency?"

The man knocked the phone out of my hands and it went sliding along the hardwood floors towards the fire place. He slapped me and I fell, landing on my shoulder. I heard the bone snap out of the socket and I screamed.

"Hello, is anyone there?"

The man laughed as he looked down at me, clearly enjoying the fact that I was in pain. He leaned down and I kicked my foot up between his legs. As he was groaning and swearing while on the floor, I stretched for the cell phone."

"Please help us! They're in the house! He has Frankie! Please send someone- " Before I could finish the man that had been holding Frankie in the basement hit me over the head.

The last thing I heard before I blacked out was Frankie screaming my name and telling me she loved me.
