Alice

Ok, ok so it was too late. She was too late. Ohhh! I should have gone instead! Who cares if someone saw me? Now what am I supposed to tell Carlisle? Esme? Rosalie? Well, she doesn't really care but still, how will they deal with the fact that…oh no, BELLA! I have to find her, calm her down, get Jasper to help. In half a second, I have my phone in my hand and Jasper on the other end.

"Meet me at the clock tower, now it's an emergency!" I say.

I grab my makeup bag, quickly pulling out some concealer I saved for emergencies. I smear the tan liquid over every inch of my face, hoping that will hide the effect the sun has on my skin. I race out of my car and onto the streets with my face down, hoping no one will notice.

"Ouch!" I hear someone say as I push through the crowd elbowing someone in the chest a little too hard. Many people don't notice the speed of my sprint, I increase my speed, causing many angry glares and scowls. Finally I see Jasper in the shadow of a building staring at me, then dropping his gaze to a body curled up on the ground.

"Bella!" I scream as I get closer. I comfort her with a warm hug. "It's alright Bella, come on let's get out of here before Aro sees us." She didn't budge. I could feel Jasper trying his best. "No." she says in a small voice. "It doesn't matter! What else can they possibly do to us? And it's not alright, he's gone." The pain in her voice reminded me of when she was found lying on the forest floor. There was nothing I could do; his body was probably already disposed of. When the crowd starts moving away Jasper and I help her up. Her face was full of tears flowing from her red eyes. I brushed away the tangled brown locks away from her face. "Come on bella, let's get home, Char…" I stopped in the middle of my sentence. I completely forgot…about Charlie.
