Yoda arrived on Dagobah, deeply upset about the clones taking out nearly all of the Jedi. All that showed on his face was contemplation. Flashes of the Clone Wars came to him, most particularly of a great battle that greatly cost his people on Dagobah. The remaining people departed for more distant worlds, to wait out the Clone Wars. But, now that the clones and Lord Sidious have taken over the galaxy, it wouldn't be safe for them to return.

Yoda sighed as he went into meditation, in the middle of swampland. For some reason, he had to struggle to even maintain his meditation. He wondered, "so hard to become one with the Force, it has become! Emotions…is it? See it before, why didn't I? Made by Lord Sidious, the clone army has been. The spirit of Jango Fett, I must seek."

After a somewhat long while, the unarmored ghost of Jango Fett stood in front of Yoda. He asked, "what can I help you with, master Jedi?"

Yoda questioned, "a catch, is there?"

Jango Fett chuckled, "how can I still be a bounty hunter…when I'm back in the Force?"

Yoda pointed out, "believe it, you don't. Time for flattery, this isn't."

Jango Fett sighed, "fine. I will help you with what you seek…but it does come with a price."

Yoda figured with a sigh, "suspected as much, I did. Name it, you shall."

Jango Fett suggested, "just make sure my son is safe. He's my legacy...as a bounty hunter and as part of the family."

Yoda figured, "a big promise, this is."

Jango Fett pointed out, "a Jedi wouldn't talk to my spirit…unless it was as important as my son Boba Fett."

Yoda urged, "have attachments, the Jedi do not. Cost you your life, it may have."

Jango Fett sighed, "clearly, this isn't a time for debate. Do you promise to watch over my son?"

Yoda figured, "changing the future, I can't do. Strong, the Force is."

Jango Fett insisted, "unlike you, I don't believe in this pessimism. Yet, I'm still asking you to watch over my son. Do you promise?"

Yoda concluded uneasily, "promise…I do."

Jango Fett figured, "what information do you want?"

Yoda concluded, "defeated…how were we?"

Jango Fett reasoned, "with or without hearing underground rumors, I already know the answer."

Yoda insisted, "tell me…you must! In question, the future of the Jedi is."

Jango Fett revealed, "it's all a big misunderstanding. The Force parasites on the Jedi…were mistaken for extra Midi-Chlorians."

Yoda realized, "planted them there…you did!"

Jango Fett added, "the Trade Federation's double agent scientists gave you misinformation about Midi-Chlorians. And is that anger in your voice?"

Yoda muttered, "the Force depleted from us, it is. Focus, I must!" And with that, Yoda force pulled away many little red worm like creatures off of his body. They slithered away scared, disappearing into the swamp under Yoda's feet. Yoda sighed, struggling for air.

Jango Fett figured, "now you know. And now…about my son…"

Yoda sighed, "time, you must give me. Weak, I am. Old ways…were our undoing."

Jango Fett concluded in satisfaction, "I'll take your word for it, Master Jedi." And with that, his ghostly image was gone.

Yoda figured as he got up, "contact and find the remaining Jedi, I must! Reform, the next step is. Forgive me, the Force should." He returned to his escape pod, to go off in search of other Jedi. Yoda set a course for Tatooine and set the escape pod on auto-pilot. He then went back to meditating, in hopes of regaining his strength. Yoda would need it…for the long journey ahead.
