Chapter 11: The pool episode

A week has passed since the incident in the dock and things haven't been calm for Tony as he felt the world was going crazier and crazier but the kind of crazy he likes. Everybody noticed his stress was building up as each day passed but how couldn't they? Team JNPR also felt the power and heard the voice calling for this "Dante" guy.

Team RWBY was the more worried of the all, specially Ruby, they saw first hand how this affected Tony that he didn't ate for the first day as he only researched what he could, he tried to find anything related to this "Dante" but wasn't able to find anything and he spent most of his time in his room.

He did allow them to visit him and even spent time with them, talked, joked and laughed like normal but the signs of him being tired were there. Tony managed to get big black bags under his eyes that Ruby had forced him to sleep with the condition she would continue his research.

Unknown to them, the answer was right in front of their eyes and Tony had a feeling that the demon that the demoness mentioned the other day was the very same, looking for him because he killed his troop as this "Dante" guy to do something to him.

Unknown to Tony is that the Goodwitch and the others noticed this too. Goodwitch was particularly worried about the young demon hunter as she saw Tony, besides being a troublemaker, someone who cares to do a good job and protect others but she would never admit that outright.

Jaune found himself in Tony's room, sitting in a chair as Tony was resting his eyes while laying on his bed. Before Jaune got there he saw Ruby leaving the room with an expression of worry mixed with anger, he just did the math.

"Dude, you really look bad that Ruby has to scold you almost every day to get rest" Jaune said out loud.

"Jaune…shut up" Tony said irritated and embarrassed.

"Yeah, maybe i should…but i'm not wrong" he was worried but decided to joke a bit to light the mood "You got lovely Ruby coming here everyday, worried, you should start dating her"

"Dude!" Tony said sitting staring daggers into Jaune's body "If you want to talk about this lock the door"

"Fine, fine" Jaune said as he stood up and did what Tony asked, confused "Why did you need me to lock the door for?"

"Ugh, because you are right about something" Tony admitted as he stretched.

"About something?" Jaune asked and then it clicked "Holy Molly you like Ruby?!"

"No, Kinda" Tony said embarrassed "It's complicated"

"How is that complicated? Does this have anything to do with Jessica?" Jane asked as he sat down again.

"It is but there is more" Tony took a deep breath "It's better if i show you but don't tell anyone"

Tony grabbed a small blade and cut his hand, Jane was about to yell at his friend but he saw how he raised his other hand in sign to wait. Jaune gasped as he witnessed how the injury healed in the span of five minutes leaving no mark or sign that was ever done.

"Tony…that isn't normal" Jaune grimaced

"Of course it isn't" Tony said scoffed "I healed fast yeah but this is just ridiculous dude"

"You told us after you told the girls that you are probably something like that Oran guy but what does this mean?" Jaune asked worriedly about what he would hear.

"That I'm losing my humanity? Honestly I don't know and this worries me a lot. This is also one of the reasons why I haven't tried to make any moves on her" Tony said as he let himself fall to the mattress.

Tony was scared of this, He knows he likes Ruby but Jessica's death and now this is making him not go further. Ruby was also not helping by entering his room, taking care of him, cleaning any mess he had and scolding him, worrying about him as it only made him more sure that he liked her.

"Does she know about this?" Jaune asked.

"About my feelings or my fast healing?" Tony asked, just making sure.

"Well, both if you want to share"

"About my feelings she doesn't tho the others seemed to already have catched into that, specially Yang and he keeps teasing me about it" Tony chucked a bit "And she knows about the healing but doesn't seem to mind really"

"So what are you worried about then?" Jaune asked, pointing .

"Wait, what do you mean?" Tony now was generally confused.

"Dude, you aren't that dense are you? If she doesn't care about this rapid healing and keeps worrying about you then it isn't an issue" Jaune crossed his arms and nodded to himself as he felt he was giving good advice.

"You…got a point there and i hate it" Tony rolled his eyes "But what if I lose my humanity completely?"

This also scared Tony, what if he becomes a demon and starts acting like Oran? would that mean that he would start hunting for his friends like prey? what if he does something that he would never forgive himself because of his feelings for Ruby? he couldn't even say what he would do as it hurted him so much.

"Dude, i honestly think that Oran is in control of everything and he's just an asshole" Jaune shrugged, this surprised Tony for two reasons, one is that he was probably right and that Oran was just evil and the second being that this shy cowardly guy swore.

"Maybe you are right but still, what abou-" Tony wasn't even able to finish his sentence.

"Dude, Ruby is not Jessica, she's a fighter, she has killed demons too and the most important thing is that she isn't an idiot" Jaune laid the facts, facts that Tony knew.

This was also right but he ignored it as he was a bit dumb sometimes. Tony knew that Ruby could defend herself fairly well in a fight, Tony knew that she had a lot of willpower too and most importantly, she wasn't afraid of asking for help.

Tony was one to hate to admit when he is wrong but this time, he would be glad to admit he was wrong. The demon hunter has seen Ruby fight, she is skilled with her weapon the Crescent Rose but not only that, she is smart, she can think fast when the situation deems it necessary.

Tony remembered the time they were ambushed by the Enigmas, Ruby didn't have a weapon and still fought, thought of a good strategy, used everything in their arsenal and won thanks to her. He was being an idiot as he was downplaying the girls abilities, Nell said so and now Jaune said so as well.

"Hate when you are right buddy" Tony said punching Jaune softly in the chest "I'll see what i can do to court our lovely Rose"

"That's more like you" Jaune smiled.

"But enough about my trainwreck of a love life, how about you? made any progress with Ice Queen?"

Jaune sighed, it was no secret that he had a thing for Weiss, even a blind person would see it.

"Not nearly enough as you" Jaune lowered his head "She tends to ignore me like always so yeah.

"That…makes sense knowing how she is" Tony scratched the back of his head.

"Yeah, i guess it does, i'm not impressive like everyone else, suck at fighting and everything mostly" Jaune started self deprecating.

"Well it is true that you aren't a fighter like everyone else but you have been improving in your training with Pyrrha and you have more than fighting" Tony starte now laying the facts to Jaune "You are a good leader, you think fast on your feet, you are good looking, not like myself of course but i've heard some girls call you cute on the streets when we are out and most importantly, you are a good guy!"

"Thanks Tony" Jaune really appreciated his words "But honestly, it doesn't seem enough for Weiss"

"Give it time and be yourself buddy, she'll come around and if she doesn't then that means that you can move on as she is not the one for you" Tony put his hand on his Right shoulder giving his friend confidence.

"When did the roles reverse?" Jaune asked while laughing.

"When you let me take the lead in what topic to talk about dumbass" Tony laughed too "Wanna go and grab something to eat?"

"Sure, i'm starting to feel hungry" Jaune stood up from his chair.

Somewhere else.

Virgil was back at the library, reading a book, his trip to Atlas was not entirely fruitless as he found the demonic artifact he needed to gain more power but it was not nearly enough as he expected.

At least this time it wasn't a waste of time like the last time he had been in Atlas during the start of this year, before he met Arkham. He traveled to Atlas following a rumor about demonic power, sadly he couldn't find anything to gain power.

To make matters worse he had an annoying young activist following around him talking about "change" and other foolish things, but he ended up having a last night stand with her, that shut her up at least but damn his human hormones.

Her name was Azura Blau, like him she wore blue clothes and had black short hair, he honestly didn't remember more about her nor cared to remember. But deep down, buried where the light doesn't shine anymore under all the baggage and desire for power, he cared slightly about her as she wasn't a bad human and had fire that reminded him of his late mother.

Then his mind went somewhere else…Dante, his little brother, from what he felt he was making some progress in obtaining his real power, fleeting compared to his but he made progress.

Virgil would never, ever admit even if he was about to die that he cared about his brother but he really did, he didn't blame him for his mother choosing to save him and abandoning him, he didn't have a choice but that didn't mean that Vergil was jealous of his brother.

Dante had a chance to live a "normal" life, something that was denied to him but Fate is a cruel mistress as trouble will find him sooner than later and he'll realize what his brother did. Power is absolute and needed to survive this harsh world. Vergil saw Arkham approaching him with the corner of his eye.

"You are late" Virgil said, not taking his eyes from his book.

"Some unexpected visitors arrived when I was doing the investigation" Arkham said with a grin, meaning he killed them.

Vergil met Arkham in a library months after his first expedition in Atlas, the human was different from others he met as he was well versed in the dark arts and wasn't scared of power. Arkham was also a scholar and knew things that He didn't, he was useful so the two formed an alliance when Arkham mentioned the chance of him obtaining the power of Sparda.

Alliance yes, but an uneasy one as Vergil didn't trust the man, as a matter of fact he doesn't trust anyone with the exception of his brother for one single reason, he was straightforward and clear about his intentions and Dante wasn't one to change fully even if he didn't had his memories.

"Was it there?" Vergil asked.

"No, the sealed demon wasn't there, I'm afraid we would need to search for the last one Vale, then we should both search in mistral as the tower is buried there" Arkham said with his somber, menacing tone.

"Very well, I would personally like to see my dear brother's progress with my own eyes" Vergil said with a small chuckle.

"Remember that we need his side of the amulet" Arkham pointed out.

"In due time, when we need it I'll challenge him for it" Vergil said as he closed the book and stood up.

"Why not take it now? He is weak and you are far stronger" Arkham said with a small evil grin.

"There is no honor in that, defeating him like he is now has no meaning" Vergil said sternly as he was a man of honor.

Back to the beacon, inside the cafeteria.

Tony and Jaune found themselves at a table drinking soda, only soda because the cafeteria was empty, no food, they were late.

"Man, no grub at all, this sucks" Tony said slamming his fist on the table.

"You tell me, you might need to order pizza" Jaune chuckles.

"Nah, no pizza" Tony answers crossing his arms

"Wait what?!" Jaune exclaimed with his eyes wide open by the words that came out from Tony's mouth.

"Yeah…Ruby told me that i should dial down the pizza a bit" Tony said a bit embarrassed, he shifted his eyes elsewhere, remembering what happened.

A few days before.

"Tony!" Ruby yelled as hard as her lungs could.

"What…?" Tony asked, a bit scared of the little red hood.

"Look at your room!" Ruby points at every single pizza box "There are like twenty in here and it stinks!"

She wasn't that far off, there were actually twenty six boxes of pizza and she wasn't wrong about the smell either. These boxes were spread around, some in the bed, lots on the floor and lots more around his desk.

"So? i gotta eat" Tony said, still a bit scared.

"But only pizza?!" Ruby groaned.

"Says the girl who eats lots of cookies and tries to steal my strawberry sundae" Tony scoffs.

"That's besides the point, i eat other things, healthy food too and you should too" Ruby rolled her eyes but her tone was genuine, she was worried for his eating habits.

"Fine, i'll dial the pizza down a bit" Tony says in defeat, knowing that he cannot win against his crush.

"That's my Tony, now get in the shower while I clean this place!" Ruby yells again but with a smirk on her face.

If only she knew.

Back to the present.

"Tony, she has you wrapped around her finger" Jaune chuckled as he mocked his friend.

"Ah shut up" Tony rolled his eyes.

"Who has wrapped who around who's finger?" Both heard a voice close to them.

The two boys turned their heads to see the Sun, who was standing there with apples. After a few days from the incident on the docks, the rest learned that Sun was a student from Haven that came here for the festival but decided to get here a lot earlier than expected, like a lot earlier.

Funny enough, Tony and Sun got along quite well instantly and thanks to that Jaune also started getting along with the Faunus as well. The girls called it the "Dude Squad" or "Dude Trio" and honestly, they liked the name.

"Sup dudes, mind if I sit down?" Sun said.

"Dude, you don't have to ask" Tony shrugged.

"Yeah dude, mind sharing an apple?"

"To quote Whitey there. You don't have to ask" Sun said with a grin as he sat down, handing Tony and Jaune an apple each.

"Food, finally" Tony said with relief.

"So, who got you wrapped under her finger?" Sun asked with the biggest eating shit grin ever.

"About that, it's Ruby" Tony said and froze for a second, then started looking around for any possible dangers, when he saw none he relaxed "And i don't mind it at all"

"Wait, for real?!" Sun seemed perplexed.

"You have no idea dude" Jaune said mimicking Sun grin from moments ago.

"I expected you to for i dunno, Yang, she seems more down your alley" Sun pointed out.

"Kinda but to be honest, i rejected her confession" Tony said casually.

"WHAT?!" Both blondes yelled.

Tony started telling the whole ordeal to the two dudes of the squad starting with his "Date" with the younger sister and the outburst the older sister had and their fight, he also let Sun know that he doesn't have an aura, not a secret anymore.

"Wow dude, first of all how can you fight without an aura?" Sun seemed rather perplexed by that.

"I dunno nor I care, I'm pretty sturdy" Tony just shrugged it off.

"I've seen my dude over here taking more punishment than any" Jaune confirmed.

"But anyway dude, second, how did you manage to keep it together and reject Yang? i think i have a good feeling about your taste in girls" Sun chuckled.

"Well, you are not wrong…" Tony starts speaking.

"Dudes…" Jaune says, his face going pale.

Unknown to Tony and Sun, Jaune that was sitting across them watched someone behind the twom, someone who the two were talking about, Yang who had her arms crossed and didn't make any noise.

"I mean, Yang is great and all, but I dunno dude" Tony says sighing.

"Em, dudes" Jaune tries to warm them

"But I know you like them like her" Sun continued.

"Tony, Sun, dude" Jaune tries again but the two ingore him, he just hoped he would escape her wrath.

"I mean sure, she has a hot body, hell, she has big boobs and everything and she is hot, pretty damn hot and we both are reckless thrillseekers and wisecrackers but ya know dude" Tony scratches the back of his head.

"Who has big boobs and is pretty hot?" Yang decides to speak up, Sun jumps slightly knowing he was walking in dangerous lands.

"Oh, you of course" Tony said nonchalantly.

"Tony, handsome, are you ready to accept me?" Yang smirked as she sat down.

"Maybe" Tony jokes.

"What about you and Ruby?" Sun blurts out, not catching the joke in time.

"What about my baby sister?" Yang's expression and tone changed, red eyes included.

Dangerous territory indeed, the Dude Squad wanted to find a way to escape from the wrath of an overprotective sister, well, at least two of them were. Tony knew he had to have this talk with Yang sooner than later.

Tony started wondering which words he should use to tell Yang that he likes her younger sister or to quote her, her baby sister. He was just going to wing it, he was sure she would understand…hopefully.

"Well, I like your sister" Tony says with a straight face, making his two dudes stand back for a moment.

"I've definitely been defeated by my younger sister" Yang sighs, normally she would freak out and start pummeling Tony like the guys who tried to flirt with Ruby in the past.

Yang knew two things that prevented her from going crazy in big sister mode. The first one was that Tony was a good guy, pervy sometimes but was dead serious with her sister and would protect her from everything, including demons, she already saw that as he used his own body to shield her.

The second thing she knew was that Ruby was actually helping Tony heal his metaphorical injuries, his heart and was getting better slowly. She wanted to be the one who did that but her sister was better at this.

"Wait, you aren't mad?!" Jaune asked, really surprised.

"Why should I be, Vomit boy?" Yang answered with a small smirk.

"Two days ago you threw a guy who asked for her number through the roof" Jaune deadpanned.

"Really?!" Sun asks, Yang and Jaune just nod.

"Mind telling me who that guy was?" Tony said with a smile, a sadistic smile of course "Asking for a friend"

Then the other three realized that Yang was the least problem for Ruby's suitors, it was Tony, one of Ruby's suitors that the other should be afraid of as he was the strongest and not to mention having weird demonic powers too.

Oh, Yang was aware of all the things that was going through Tony's body, the way he heals faster that in five minutes a flesh wound would have healed with no trace of existence and the possibility of Tony being something more than human but at the end of the day…she knows that Tony wouldn't take that laying down so she could trust him.

"Anyway, i trust that Tony would be nice to my baby sister" Yang smirks "Or i'll kill him and he knows that i would try"

"Ain't that a kick on the head" Tony shrugs

"But you have more issues that would need be resolved named Ice Queen and her naivety" Yang sighs.

"What does Weiss have to do with this?" Jaune got curious as Weiss was mentioned.

"She has a crush on Tony"

"What?!" Jaune asked, perplexed.

"Yeah…" Tony looked away.

It wasn't a secret to him that Weiss developed a small crush on him, he wasn't that dense but he didn't know if he could come out and reject her as she has never confessed or anything. Tony cursed internally his luck with women.

"Dude, you are a chick magnet" Sun grinned.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Jaune asks directly to his friend.

"What could I say?" Tony deadpanned "Hey Jaune, best buddy, the girl you have a crush on has a crush on me. Good luck? To be honest i don't see her that way, she is more like a sister to me now"

"Hold on, Jaune likes the Schnee? Didn't expect that at all" Sun took a bite from his apple as he said it.

"I'll talk with her and Ruby, put a good word for ya handsome" Yang smirked.

"I'll let you talk with Weiss but nah, don't do anything with Ruby, it's better if i do it on my own terms" Tony said sighing knowing the long road ahead. "Anyway what are you doing here Yang?"

"Oh yeah, i came here to see you about two things" Yang stood up "Goodwitch wants to speak with you and the girls needed some books for…you know what…the last ones of the topic we were reviewing"

"What does Goodwitch wants now?" Tony groaned "Anyway, i'll go and see her and the books are on my room, Ruby should know the ones as she was the one who helped me sorted out"

Tony threw his room key to Yang and went away doing his two finger salute. Tony haven't spoken to Goodwitch since that day they came from the Docks, since they heard the demon's voice.

In Goodwitch Office.

Glynda was sitting down in her desk, with a cup of tea, not many knew she liked to drink it, not even Ozpin knew but she liked to drink tea to relax from all the responsibilities from being a teacher and now, from the idea of demons but right now she had to be calm because she was going to talk with Tony Redgrave.

And speaking of the devil, she hears her door being knocked in the Rhythm that belongs to Tony, a cheery but chaotic knocking.

"Come in" She says with a serious tone.

Tony ges inside the room and Glynda wastes no time inspecting the young man. Glynda didn't like what she saw as the young man had big black bags still under his eyes; she noticed them earlier during the week but didn't say a thing expecting the young man to get some rest but she was wrong.

"Do you need me?" Tony said with a tired voice.

"Yes, please sit down Redgrave" She says while motioning her hand to show the empty seat in front of her desk.

"So, what do you need me for?" Tony sat down, almost falling to the chair.

"A couple of reasons, have you made any progress in the higher demon case?" She went directly to the point.

"Not really, i don't seem to find his presence anywhere and I have no idea who this Dante guy is" Tony let a big sigh "He is like a ghost, no records or anything by his name to track him down"

"I see" She says as he takes a sip of her tea "Let me get you some tea Redgrave"

"Ah, don't worry" He says, looking to the side.

"I didn't ask if you wanted, you are going to drink tea" She says with a stern tone.

Glynda stands up and goes to the kettle in her office, pouring a cup of tea for the demon hunter. The instructor knew that there was more on his mind than the higher demon and was affecting the young man's head.

"Here, it's hot" She says, handing Tony the tea and sits down again.

"Thanks i guess" He says while taking a small sip, getting a feeling of how hot it was.

"The other reason that i called you here is because I can see that you are too focused on the task on hand" Glynda, once again, went directly to the point.

"Hard not to" Tony laughed "We have a higher demon that made his presence known to us and also I got the tip from another demon that I have another higher demon looking for me and I don't know if it's the same or we have two in the city. How can I be calm about this?"

"A demon told you?" Glynda was now interested in what he said.

"Yeah, a higher demon no less, she knew me and warned me that I have a higher demon on my trail and that's not all. She cried, a demon crying is unheard of and she seemed to know me as she mentioned that i've grown so much" Tony groaned as he talked about that meeting, rubbing his eyes, he was tired.

"I see, this is troubling…" Glynda was lost for words.

Tony put the drink on the desk and started slouching, putting his elbows over his legs and his right hand on his face, covering his eyes. Tony was tired, he was so tired that he didn't think of hiding what he was feeling from her.

"I've been thinking of getting the hell out of here, getting all of you out of danger, covering my trail so none could find me…" He said almost in a whisper.

"Do you think it's a good idea?" Glynda was surprised that he was opening up to her.

"I don't know, I don't know anything anymore really, I'm getting stronger by the days and apparently I have demonic powers of my own and I'm scared that because of me everyone would be hurt thanks to my existence" Tony's voice cracked for a moment.

"Redgr- Tony" Glynda said with a soft voice "Drink the tea, it will help you calm down"

Tony did as he was told and drank the tea, for some reason it did help him calm down.

"I'm not going to lie and say that this matter doesn't worry me but i don't think people here would take kindly of you escaping your problems, specially miss Rose"

"No, she wouldn't" Tony smiled slightly "Knowing her she would be the first to jump with the idea of looking for me"

"She would" Glynda said with a matter of fact tone "What else worries you? everything you say here won't leave these doors, i promise you that"

Tony looked at the teacher with heavy eyes and started talking, his worries, everything that he had on his mind in the last few days and. Glynda on the other hand was listening, every worry, every fear from the young man who seemed to have the world's problem in his shoulders.

Goodwitch wouldn't admit it, but she cared for her students and Tony Redgrave was one of those students, one that had issues, lots of issues and that needed some adult guidance. Glynda knew Tony had his guardian to talk to but she also knew that he needed more adult figures in his life and so, she heard him.

Meanwhile in another part of the Academy.

Yang entered her room to find Weiss and Blake, no signal of her baby sister so this was a good thing. Yang decided to ignore Tony's words and help him with a plan to get Ruby and him together, a little push won't hurt them as she also knows that Ruby has feelings for him but doesn't seem to realize them.

"Weiss, Blake. We have to talk" Yang said with a grin.

"What do you need to talk about Yang? Blake said, putting her book down.

"Should I call your sister?" Weiss said, taking her scroll out.

"No, she cannot hear what we are about to talk about" Yang waves her hand lazily "Tony confessed that he likes Ruby"

Then the silence set in, Blake didn't seem surprised by much but she was and Weiss was shaking. Weiss didn't take this news kindly as she liked Tony but also knew deep down that he had a thing for her partner.

"Well, that is a surprise" Blake says, twitching her cat ears.

"And we need to talk about this for what reason?" Weiss scoffed.

"First is that we know that you have a crush on the big guy" Yang said, pointing to her teammate.

"And that matters because what reasons?" Weiss crossed her arms, not denying Yang's point nor confirming them.

"Weiss, we all did have a crush on him at some point" Blake interumps.

"Wait, you too?" Yang seemed surprised.

"Yeah, like half of the girls academy" Blake admits slightly blushing "Tony is handsome, tall, strong, has an actual sense of humor and he didn't care about me being a Faunus at all, why wouldn't I have a crush on him?"

"That…makes sense…wait half of the girls of the academy?!" Weiss exclaims, surprised "Ugh, that is completely annoying but…he likes Ruby…"

Weiss felt her body starting losing strength by this revelation as she did not only have her best friend, not that she would admit that Ruby is her best friend, but also half of the girls in the academy as rivals for Tony's affection.

"Sun wasn't wrong then…he is really a chick magnet" Yang joked.

"That's besides the point" Weiss raised her tone "What does that have to do with me?"

"I'll go straight to the point, Tony sees you as a sister" Yang went directly to the jugular.

"Sister-zoned, ouch, I'm sorry Weiss" Blake said knowing how powerful those words were.

'A sister? Tony saw me, Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company as a sister and likes Ruby instead' Weiss thought as he sat down, almost crying that her feelings were totally unrequired. Weiss knew that Tony didn't care that she was a Schnee or anything, that he saw her as who she truly is but has feelings for another girl.

The dam broke and she started crying, she already knew that he liked Ruby as the two got into their own world more than once but she had hope, hope that was now lost. Yang and Blake saw their prideful teammate hurt and Yang actually felt a bit guilty.

The two hugged Weiss, calming her down, a defeat like this would take time but they had faith in their teammate.

"I completely lost" Weiss said with her voice cracking "I lost the man that saw me for who i was"

"Weiss, you didn't lose him. He is still your friend and I'm sure he'll be with you but not in the romantic sense" Blake said with a soft voice.

"You are his 'sister' after all" Yang joined with the same soft tone.

"It still hurts so badly…" Weiss hugged back the two "But I get it, I knew very well that he liked Ruby and I don't hold it against him or her"

"So, what are you going to do?" Yang asks, feeling guilty that she was the one who drop the news.

"What any good friend would for her best friend, help her in her romantic life" Weiss said while wiping her tears of her face "Don't you dare tell her that i said she is my best friend"

"Our lips are sealed" Blake giggled while doing the motion on her lips with her right hand.

The three sat down in their beds, now that the first part of this conversation was over the second part needed to start.

"So, I have a plan" Yang says excited

"I got a bad feeling about that" Blake says sarcastically.

"I have to agree with Blake in this case" Weiss nods "Your plans are too crazy Yang"

"I haven't even started and you two are already whining" Yang groaned "Anyway, we need to make Ruby figure out her feelings for the big guy.

"And how do you propose we do that?" Weiss crossed her arms, expecting the craziest scheme from the fiery Yang.

"Easy, we make some comments here and there, to give her the little push she needs and boom, we get them together" Yang grinned.

"Sounds easy enough" Blake says.

"I agree but what type of comments?" Weiss needed to hear more before she agreed on this plan.

Yang grinned, she knew what she was doing and didn't come empty handed.

"Little comments like how handsome the bastard is, that he has gotten bigger, i actually have some pictures of him without a shirt too" Yang Shows the pictures on the scroll, they were a bit risque to say the least.

"Oh my god, where did you get those?!" Weiss exclaimed, not that she was complaining to see them.

"I paid someone to take them" Yang smirked once again.

"I don't think it's a good idea, we might end up corrupting your little sister with those" Blake says, making Yang snap from her idea.

"You are right, my baby sister doesn't need to see this pictures, I don't want to be an aunt so early…and i don't want to kill Tony" Yang said, realizing that she might release a beast into this world if she showed the pictures..

"What if we make her jealous, half of the academy already likes Tony" Weiss points out, and the two think it is not a bad idea.

But when they were going to continue speaking the door opened with a bang revealing the girl they were talking about with a big smile on her face.

"Hey girls!" Ruby said, waving her hand.

"Ah?!" The three girls exclaimed "Ruby?!"

"Wow, you guys didn't expect me?" Ruby giggled.

"Don't slam the door like that you dolt!" Weiss scoffed.

"It's okay Weiss" Ruby giggled "Yang did find Tony?"

"Oh yeah, he gave me his key, we should go and get those books" Yang totally forgot about it.

"Then what are we waiting for?! Team RWBY, move out to Tony's room!" Ruby exclaimed while pointing the way.

RWBY went to Tony's room, opened the door and to their surprise, the room wasn't a disaster meaning that Tony didn't destroy Ruby's work on organizing the room. Ruby felt proud for a moment then started looking for the books with her team.

While looking for the books Ruby sees something under his pillow, a magazine that was slightly out but she decided to ignore it for now. After a couple of minutes the girls were able to find the books they needed and pile them in the middle of the room.

"Weiss, are all those the books we need?"

"Yes they are" Weiss waves her hand showing the list she wrote "All of them are here"

"Great, now we can finally finish the homework he left" Blake sounds a bit annoyed that Tony was making them do homework too.

Ruby did push her curiosity before but it came back and stronger, she wanted to know what was Tony hiding under his pillow. The little red hood walked over his bed and grabbed the magazine.

What she saw really wasn't what she expected, making her blush to the point she matches her cloak, the other three members noticed the girl who was silent and red.

"Ruby, is everything alright?" asked her sister.

"Wait…is that…?" Blake slightly blushed.

"Oh my gosh, t-t-t-that's an a-a-adult magazine!" Weiss Suttered blushing like Ruby.

"RUBY DROP THAT NOW!" Yang yelled, worried that her baby girl would get corrupted.

"No…For some reason I want to see what he likes…" Ruby whispered as she continued looking at the magazine.

Yang gasped at what her sister said, she froze still looking that her sister is getting corrupted and she wants to know more about this subject. Blake on the other hand was thinking that she might lend Ruby some books in the future, yeah, those books and on Weiss' side she was also curious about Tony's taste.

"My baby sister…where…where did i go wrong…?" Yang muttered, with glassy lost eyes.

The girls minus Yang who was still in shock, started flipping the magazine and oh boy, the room started getting hot and filled with gasps at what they saw. The magazine had everything, tall girls, small girls, big breasted girls, small breasted girls, from every skin tone and Faunus even.

Back in Goodwitch's office.

Tony sat there in silence, empty cup of tea and being watched by Glynda.

"Feeling better?" She asks.

"Kinda…i'm just tired now" Tony said with a soft, broken voice and his head hanging watching the ground.

"And you are not helping yourself by not getting any rest" Glynda said with a stern tone "But Ozpin had an idea, not only for you but everyone"

"What's the idea?" Tony raised his head.

"Ozpin got some tickets to some V.I.P pool resort in Vale for both team RWBY and JNPR" Glynda hands Tony the tickets, ten in total.

"There is an extra one" He said.

"Yes, he expected me to chaperone your teams but I'm not going, you can invite the student from Haven if you want" Glynda scoffed at the idea of going to the pool resort to watch some kids.

"Okay, i'll bite, might as well relax one day" Tony sighs in defeat and stands up.

"Glad to hear" Glynda gives the young man a smile.

"I'll get going and inform the guys" Tony says opening the door but before he leaves "Thanks for hearing me out i guess"

Then he left the room, closing the door behind him. Tony walked down the halls of the academy to the dorms, with a lot on his mind, Ruby, himself, demons and everything that is surrounding him.

He was afraid, he wasn't going to lie there, he was afraid of losing everything he has now and wanted to run but he knew that his friends would come looking after him. He walked in silence with his hands hiding in his uniform pockets, many said hi, specially girls but he just ignored them, he needed to relax.

Tony found himself in his room door and opened it and to his surprise a magazine came flying into his face, hitting him.

"THIS IS FILTH! FILTH!" Said an embarrassed Ruby who was still blushing.

"Wha…?" Tony started speaking.

He saw team RWBY in his room, Ruby and Weiss blushing hard, Blake giggling and Yang muttering something, lost to the world.

"How dare you keep those…things in the academy?!" Weiss shouted.

"What?" Tony looked down and saw his adult magazine "Oh, that, meh"

"What do you mean by meh?!" Ruby yelled.

"For my age, these things can be healthy, ask Kitten there" He says shifting the focus to Blake.

"How can those…things be healthy?" Wess was skeptical.

"Helps you control your hormones and your…let's say feral instincts, won't go much further into how" Tony smirks, knowing that Blake would understand.

"Well, he isn't wrong" Blake continued giggling.

"See?" Tony throws the magazine to his bed "Anyway, what's wrong with Yang?"

"Oh, she is broken when Ruby said she didn't want to stop looking at the magazine" Blake started laughing at her partner's expense.

"Ah, I see" Tony chuckled.

"What am I going to tell dad? Uncle Qrow is going to kill me!" Yang continues talking ignoring the fact that Tony was there.

"Well, changing the topic and that Yang is having an existential crisis as an overprotective big sister that failed" Tony sits down and shows the tickets "Ozpin said that we should relax a bit and go to a resort filled with pools and stuff"

"Oh, i wanna go to the pool!" Ruby's attitude changed immediately.

"Might do us well, a break once in a while wouldn't hurt wouldn't it?" Weiss was being logical about it.

"And summer is starting to set in" Blake said, taking one ticket from Tony's hand.

"Awesome, Ruby you are in charge of these tickets" Tony hands Ruby the reminding three tickets for her team "I'll inform the Jaune that we are going and we are inviting Monkey king too, he did us a solid while taking care of Kitten over there"

"Woho! Pool day!" Ruby exclaims going to her room at a high speed leaving rose petals behind her.

"I'll take Yang with me i guess" Blake rolled her eyes, dragging Yang who was still in shock, leaving Tony and Weiss alone.

Weiss on the other hand, knew what she needed to do, defeated as she was she had one thing left to do, express her feelings for the young demon hunter.

"Hey Tony…Please sit down" Weiss said with soft tone

"Uh? What's wrong?" He asked.

"Just sit" She says embarrassed, he obliges.

"Okay, i'm sitting" He said, worried for his friend, he just noticed the red eyes she had.

"Close your eyes"

"Weiss…?" Tony was now confused.

"Just do as I say" Weiss raised her voice.

Tony, not in the mood to argue, did as she said and closed his eyes. Weiss now knew what she needed to do and leaned forward Tony. Tony felt something connecting with his lips, it was soft, really soft…it was another set of lips, now this surprised our demon hunter to the point he wanted to open his eyes but couldn't.

"You…can open them now…" Weiss said embarrassed.

"Weiss…" Tony said softly.

"I like you Tony, i really do" Weiss started crying "But i know you like Ruby"

"Yeah…i do…" Tony lowered his head, knowing that Weiss was hurting now.

"Don't break her heart and I'm supporting the two of you" Weiss' voice cracked.

"I'm sorry that i couldn't answer the same Weiss" Tony voice also cracked slightly "Thanks for understanding.

"Don't I always?" Weiss did a fake smile trying to dry her tears, Tony tried reaching for her but she went away running.

Tony felt guilty but there wasn't anything he could do. He did initially like the heiress but with time, he couldn't see himself and her as a couple as his feelings for Ruby grew stronger. Tony knew this day would come that he was going to reject her but it wasn't as easy as he expected.

Tony just headed to his bed, grabbed the magazine and started reading it to clear his mind. He was going to speak with Jaune and Sun later on about the plans for tomorrow.

A day later, in the Pool resort.

The group went to the resort as planned, it was a nice place, big pools, palms here and there, tables with umbrellas to hide from the sun and of course, chairs to take the sun in and get a nice sun tan.

Tony found himself hanging out with Ren, Jaune and Sun in one table waiting for the girls. Jaune was wearing black shorts with a yellow line on the side, Ren was the same but instead of black and yellow it was green and yellow. Sun on the other hand had his shirt, open and white shorts with yellow. Tony was wearing an open red hoodie with black shorts.

"The headmaster is really nice to give us tickets for this place" Ren said as he drank from a coconut.

"You don't say" Tony yawned a bit, his bags almost gone from a good night's sleep…after being scolded by Ruby of course.

"Man, I can't wait to get inside and play!" Jaune was excited while having a beach ball on his hands.

"You do you dude, I can't wait to see the girls!" Sun was also excited but for other reasons.

"Hey guys!" A chippery voice said.

The guys turned around to see the girls coming over and the boy's, with the exception of Ren, jaws dropped to the floor.

"Baby yeah!" Tony said, clapping his hands.

"You girls look amazing i must say" Ren said nodding.

"Oh…yeah, you do…hehe" Jaune started feeling embarrassed.

"Looking good!" Sun seemed more excited than before.

"Do we?" Yang said with a smirk "What if our resident perv gives his insight on our swimsuits"

"Don't mind if i do but i'll be a hundred percent honest with my grades" Tony smirked back "Imma start with you Yang"

"Oh crap…" Yang cursed.

"A Yellow bikini works well for you knowing the proportions of your body makes it stand more, the yellow complements your hair who i must add, looks really nice tied back" Tony took a breath "Your bikini, plus your attitude and your body screams 'Look at me, i'm hot stuff boy' and makes you definitely not easy to be ignored"

"Ah, a man of culture i see" Yang giggled, blushing a bit "Okay, do Blake next!"

"What?!" Blake jumped a bit.

"Let's see, A sporty, an excellent choice i must say, the black of course is a sexy color and the white lines compliments them well" Tony kept looking at Blake "Also ditched the bow, nice because it adds more to the cat girl persona you have. The sporty look is a bit more reserved but works well for you and also screams 'catch me if you can lover boy' in sexy way"

"Yang, why did you tell him?" Blake sounded annoyed with also a slight blush.

"Now, let's continue with Weiss who is wearing a simple but beautiful one piece swimsuit" Tony ignored them

"Don't you dare!" Weiss yelped

"Oh, I'll dare. The simple white and less revealing design actually makes you stand out. Compared to Yang who is more developed in certain areas this actually helps you in the department of innocence with the exception of your butt, is quite nice marked under the swimsuit and it screams 'I'm a cutie, yeah i'm still growing but don't you dare say a thing', sometimes less means more" Tony started nodding, with Sun and Jaune nodding.

"Ugh, you are incorrigible!" Weiss yelled while blushing hard.

"Me next!" Shouts Nora.

"Well, Nora, you are wearing a sporty top and a skirt, both pink with black lines. This totally screams 'Hey lover boy, i'm cute but i'm also dangerous, see if you can keep up with me' Ren is lucky i must say" Tony says while crossing his arms, nodding in approval.

"He is, isn't he?" Nora just does a playful smirk.

"What about me?" Pyrrha asks, wanting to join the fun.

"Well…how do I say this?" Tony scratches the back of his head looking for the right words.

"Oh…i'm sorry" Pyrrha apologies for no reason.

"Oh, you are getting me wrong, you look gorgeous, the Red bikini does wonders for you with your body attitude and the golden flowery beach skirt compliments you really well. Babe, you scream a lot of things, sexy, confident, nice girl and all" Tony says with a smile "We might need to guard you from flirty guys, not that you need our help of course as you could probably kick their asses in your sleep"

"Oh, thank you" Pyrrha smiles warmly.

But Tony wanted to continue, grading their swimsuits but someone was missing, the one that makes his heart beat faster, Ruby wasn't there.

"Where is the little red hood?" Tony asks but as if he was calling her she appears.

"Sorry! it's just a little embarrassing when you are rating our swimsuits" Ruby comes out behind the girls and waving her hand.

Ruby this time didn't make Tony's heart beat faster, she managed to make him skip a beat. She was wearing a red bikini top with a black skirt that had a red rose design. Her body was slim and screamed shyness but also she is cute as hell.

She didn't have big boobs as her sister but wasn't as flat as Weiss, more on Blake alley but a bit smaller, her butt was also nice but Tony didn't care at all for those things.

"Choose your words carefully lover boy" Yang says with a stern tone and red eyes.

"No, I'm keeping this for myself" Tony said blushing a little "I'm just going to say that you look really nice Ruby"

"Thanks…" Ruby started blushing, hard and was thankful that she didn't receive a rate…oh but she did, she got a ten out of ten "So, are we going to get in and play?"

With that said, everybody stood up and went into the pool. Ren started competing with Pyrrha on swimming while Nora, Yang and Jaune played with the beach ball. Weiss and Ruby splashed water on each other. Blake and Sun sat by the pool and started talking, those two seemed to get closer.

Tony meanwhile, found himself floating adrift in the water as his problems were washed away, feeling refreshed by everything that had happened during the week but deep inside…he knew that a storm was approaching his way.

Tony knew that things might get worse but he decided to ignore them and relax for the rest of the day then he was hit by a beach ball. Tony grabbed the beach ball and looked at his friends, might as well play with them and so he did.

Time passed and the group found themselves back on the tables, it was time for lunch and the group was hungry. Everybody agreed that they'll find something to eat and meet there and so everybody went their own way, looking for a good place to get some food. Surprisingly enough, everybody followed Tony with the exception of Weiss and Ruby who went in different directions.

The group got their food, it was mostly seafood, Blake had the final word making everybody groan but hey, food is food. Everything was alright until they found themselves at the table but no sign of Ruby or Weiss until they looked in opposite directions, Weiss was being surrounded by five guys while Ruby was being harassed by two.

"Took them long enough" Sun said, annoyed.

"I think we should help them" Pyrrha being the logical one in this argument.

"Oh, those two are going to get beaten to a pulp for hitting on my baby sister!" Yang said, angry, red eyes and fiery hair included.

"No, you go with the other and help Weiss…" Tony said with a dark tone "...I'll help Ruby"

Everybody noticed the red eyes that Tony had, he was pissed, even more than Yang so she relented, she could trust him with those two, letting the young demon hunter prove himself.

Tony walked over to Ruby in a fast pace to say the least, she didn't hear him but he stood by her side.

"Can I help you with something or you are ready to get lost?" Tony said to the two other guys, with a lot of venom in his words.

"Tony?" Ruby says, noticing the red eyes.

"Great, this guy comes to ruin the fun" One of the two said annoyed.

"Why don't you get lost buddy?" The other one started taunting Tony.

"Make me" Tony smirked darkly.

With that said the guy who taunted tried to punch Tony but was dropped to the ground with a single punch, faster than lighting punch, instant K.O, flawless victory.

"Take the guy, get lost and don't mess with my girl" Tony said with a calm tone, a calm tone that could kill, but Ruby blushed when he said 'my girl'.

"Sure thing boss!" The other man said scared while he dragged his unconscious friend.

"Assholes" Tony scoffed "You okay Ruby?"

"a-ah, yeah…" Ruby says embarrassed, still blushing "I could have handled this myself you know"

"I know, but i felt like helping you" Tony gave Ruby a warm smile "Let's go and eat okay?"

"Sure!" Ruby returned the smile.

Tony was feeling better now, a little proud of himself to be able to defend Ruby but meanwhile, Ruby's mind was a hot mess. 'Oh my gosh! He knocked out the guy with a single punch…he isn't dead…isn't he? no, Tony wouldn't kill a fly but oh my gosh i'm so glad he arrived, i didn't know what to do and he called me his girl?! gosh my face feels like burning, why is my face feeling like this?' was what Ruby was thinking, not realizing that she had butterflies in her stomach.

After everybody had their lunch then went back to playing, time flew over again and Tony found himself sitting by the pool, wondering if he did right by helping Ruby. Sure she can handle herself alright in a fight but guys hitting on her? he had the feeling she wouldn't be as good as many she thought she would.

"Hey, feeling better?" He heard, turning his head to see Ruby sitting down by his side.

"Yeah, i needed this" Tony answers, trying to avoid looking down as he could see…well, things.

"I'm so happy to hear that, You really needed to get some rest, you had me so worried" Ruby smiles warmly to Toy.

"Sorry for worrying you…i…had a lot of things in my head, wasn't thinking straight" Tony apologized, lowering his head.

"Nope, don't be sorry, i know that everything lately has been hard for you with the demons and everything" She puts her hand over Tony's "But I'm here for you, everybody is here for you"

"I know…thanks Ruby, mind if you stay here with me a bit longer?" Tony said with a soft tone.

"Of course, what are friends for?" She smiles again.

They spent the rest of their time together until it got dark, it was time for them to go back to Beacon. Soon everybody met in their normal clothes, feeling relaxed and free from burdens, until all of them felt a small rise of demonic power, not Tony but everyone, including Sun.

"What…was that?" Sun asks, surprised by this energy he felt.

"Wait, you felt it too Sunny boy?" Nora asks, surprised that Sun also felt it.

"He has spent a lot of time with me as you guys did, it was a matter of when it was going to happen" Tony's face got serious "This is a horde, like the one that i fought the other day"

"In that case we are coming with you and we are not taking a no for an answer!" Ruby makes her thoughts clear.

"Exactly!" Jaune says getting ready for some action, actually not scared for once.

Before Tony could say anything from the shadows, Nyx appeared in front of them, Tony got tense as everyone else did.

"No, I will take care of them, you rest children" Nyx said with a soft voice.

"You are the woman from the other day!" Nora exclaims recognizing the woman who pointed them in the direction where they fought demons.

"She is also a demon" Tony lets that out

"Demon?!" Sun asks loudly.

"We'll explain later" Pyrrha said, ready to fight.

"Okay, i'll let you handle them, i got a feeling you are on our side like a certain knight did" Tony said with a sigh.

"Thanks my child, rest for now" Nyx said as she disappeared in a cluster of shadows.

"Okay, is someone going to explain something?" Sun waved his hands looking for some answers.

The group excited the resort and also explained to Sun what this meant, Demons and everything while Tony explained his story and things into more detail. To the surprise of everyone, Sun took it really well, they guessed it was because of his positive attitude.

They kept walking and the night soon covered the city, people were out of their homes, it was weekend of course and they still had to make preparations for the festival. But the bad news didn't stop there. The demonic energy that they felt after helping Blake and Sun came back, this time, they didn't fall to the ground but the pressure was immense.

"Dante…I found you" Said the demon in their heads.

When he finishes his words a pillar of fire rises from the residential district, visible from where the group is.

"So he finally decided to come out" Ren said while narrowing his eyes.

"This is trouble" Weiss felt scared from his power but then she saw Tony shaking "Tony?"

"That…Nell's apartment is that way, I gotta go find her!" Tony yelled and started running.

"Tony!" Ruby shouted, following him with the rest of the group.

Little did they know that this event would change things drastically. Meanwhile a man clad in blue watched closely his kin running.

AUTHOR NOTES

Little bit of fanservice in it? But I kinda wanted to do it, because why the hell not? also furthering the romance between the two, nothing beats a beach/pool episode like that, mark my words. Besides the Fanservice, i also wanted the whole group to relax a bit, calm before the storm and i wanted to show Tony's struggle with everything that was happening, also his friendship with Jaune, also starting a bond with Goodwitch.

Weiss also needed to know that well, Ruby is now the main girl but i let her a gift, named a kiss between the two so yeah, but don't worry, i'll make some Omakes on What if Weiss won because somethings changes, you'll see, they are going to be short so no worries on that ruining the schedule. Talking about the schedule, the next chapter is going to take a bit longer to be written as i'm going to be really busy next week, i'll try to have it done by then but it might take me an extra week or two, depending on stuff.

Spanish: Hubo unos momentos donde si me vi como escribirlo asi medio forzado pero por lo general he dejado que sea poco a poco, en especial ya que ambos tienen dificultades en esos aspectos, Tony aun culpandose por Jessica y Ruby con su inexperiencia…y Yang. Sun y Dante/Tony son tan parecidos que tenía que hacer algo con los dos.

English: There were moments that I found myself forcing it a bit but in general I had it grow little by little, especially that both have difficulty in those aspects, Tony still blaming himself about Jessica and Ruby with her inexperience…and Yang. Sun and Tony were really similar and I had to make something with the two.

Red Dusk 369: And you are completely right, Ruby is not strong willed that status effects from demons wouldn't affect her at all, she can falter rather easily, she does have a strong sense of justice, yes and has will too as not many can do what she set up to do but i have a reason for Nell saying that, you'll see later on, it's part of the plan, Tony not gonna like it tho.

Blazing Ice Cream: I'll tackle the first question: Demons are cunning and in a world where people are being trained to be fighters and have special power they are going to be secretive and a lot of people believe they are just legends, in this timeline Sparda happened before Ozpin/Osma came back into being so he didn't had a clue as when he was alive he didn't had encounters either thanks to the brothers, also this is pre-dmc 3 dante so no business yet.

Second question: Well, it has to do with condensed demonic energy, aura is strong but demonic energy is far stronger when condensed, there are cases when a powerful condensed aura attack can go through aura, like when Adam cuts Yang's arm, he didn't break her aura as it started healing her wound so she wouldn't bleed out. so it works similar to that, not all demons can do that, mostly energy spending demons and Higher demons.
