"I mean it's not like it's even your choice to make is it? You're already out, everyone knows who you are!" Darren yelled. Chris and Darren were fighting about Darren coming out and admitting to being in a relationship together. It had all started with the confirmation of Lea and Cory a few weeks back; Darren didn't see how they were any different. "We're not any different, except for the fact that outside this place no one knows you're gay! And Lea and Cory were dating for ages before they confirmed it. Maybe I just like having you to myself" Chris replied.
"Can I just say, I'm with Chris here, you two are happy, why come out and let the press stalk you with it. Believe me, waiting was the right choice for me" Lea butted in
"Stay out of it Lea" Darren snapped. Lea walked back to the other side of the room where the rest of the cast were sitting awkwardly, unable to leave as the boys were blocking the door.
"Darren, don't talk to her like that she was trying to help!" Chris' voice was getting hoarse now from all the yelling.
"You know what Chris, if I didn't know any better I'd say you were ashamed of me! Why do I even bother? I wanted to come out so we could be together in public instead of hiding but you obviously don't want that so okay!"
"I do want that, you know I do. I just don't think it's the right time." Chris was almost in tears now.
"Whatever!" Darren screamed "I hate you!"
That pushed Chris over the edge. He ran out the room, tears streaming down his face. Darren went to run after him when Lea and Naya held him back. "Just wait okay, you need to calm down before you hurt him anymore, Amber will go find him."
Eventually Amber found Chris huddled in a corner of his trailer. She went over and sat beside him and he relaxed into her. "It's okay baby" she whispered "you know he didn't mean it, he loves you" Chris let out "I thought so too" as a broken sob just as Amber's phone rung. "Did you find him? Darren's tearing himself apart" Lea asked on the other end of the line "Yeah he's in his trailer, just make sure he's calmed down okay?" she replied before hanging up and going back to Chris on the floor.
A few minutes later someone knocked on the door quietly before stepping inside. Darren saw his boyfriend curled up in a ball leaning on Amber. She stood up gently so not to shake Chris too much before pushing Darren down into her place. "Thank you" Darren mouthed as she left. He looked down at Chris and his heart broke "I did this" he thought. He pulled Chris closer as the younger man's eyes opened to find not Amber but Darren. "I am so sorry my love, I was angry and upset. You know I love you, always will."
"I know Darren just please don't ever yell at me like that again. I was only trying to do what I thought best for you."
"I know baby, I know. You're right. I love you so much and I am so so so sorry" Chris pulled his head up to kiss Darren soft on the lips. "I love you so much too."
Half an hour later after no one had heard anything from either boy they opened the door to Chris' trailer to find the two boys fast asleep still cuddled together sitting on the floor. "How the kids hate it when mum and dad fight" Naya quipped as they closed the door and left the boys alone.
