November 6th and Dr Lecter was leaving. Sherlock still didn't know of Hannibal and Jay's connection from America, or that it was Jay that Dr Lecter spoke of when he told the tale of palming police officers' items.

"We'll see you soon, right?" John asked.

"I will try, it depends on how much time Jack Crawford leaves between assigning Will new cases," Hannibal sighed.

"How is Will?" Jay asked which piqued Sherlock's interest. Jay knew Hannibal's friend?

"He's better than when we last spoke."

"Well I'd guessed that, last time we spoke of him he'd been jailed for being the copycat killer. Which I've still not forgiven you for," Jay responded.

Sherlock left it for now, he'd gather more information then confront them.

"I did not intentionally get Will put in jail," Hannibal defended, "And I'm sorry but I can't discuss it now, I've got a plane to catch."

They all wished him a safe flight and he left, Sherlock watched the departing doctor through the window.

"So…" Jay wondered aloud," Do you want anything from the shop?"

"Cornetto," John replied not missing a beat, which made Jay laugh.

"And today on guess the cultural reference," Sherlock declared, not understanding at all.
