Just how I imagine Fred to react in a situation that would usually cause panic.

The Incident:

This wasn't the first time that Fred had seen two people get into a fight, and he was sure that it wouldn't be the last. This also wasn't the first nor last time that he had had to break up the said fight, so Fred was calm, cool, and collected when two chemistry girls started bickering and then slapping each other.

The rest of the lab, however? They were not as calm and collected. So, Fred did what he usually did in an emergency. He made jokes and calmed everyone down.

He separated the two girls, had Tadashi take one outside while the other was taken care of in the bathroom by Gogo, which left a room full of panicking nerds. Fred stood up on a chair to get their attention.

"Hey, everybody listen up!" He called. The room quieted down and listened to what the English major had to say. "I know you're all a little freaked out – I know I am – but you all have to remain calm. I mean, this can't affect your guys' science stuff, can it? Now, I need someone who's really great with lasers to design a freeze ray for me, but other than that one person I want you all to stay calm and go back to work. Got it?"

There was a murmur about the fact that one couldn't simply design a freeze ray like that, but when they were done with that they went back to their work, sufficiently calmer now. There was a handful of people that still needed to relax and stuff (including Wasabi), though, so Fred gathered those few and asked if they wanted to hear some Greek myths. Most of them agreed and Fred told the story of Oedipus the King, not leaving out any details.

Gogo saw how Fred was calming down the people and smiled to herself. She was very proud of her friend, and she was glad that he knew what he was good at.

A/N: Thank you all for reviewing and reading and such, all I really have to say is that I hope you're all having a good day, and make sure that you've showered recently, cutie (you have to take care of yourself).
