A/N After Jay's brother arrives I'll refer to her as Paint to avoid confusion. Just as John will do.

"So when's Jay coming?" John asked.

"Erm he said he'd be here at three," Jay replied, "And I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to do a Sherlock and call me Paint, so we don't all get muddled."

"Okay," John agreed.

Jay had already done all of her Christmas shopping and had a few she wished to deliver before her brother arrived.

She was to post a parcel to Hannibal, she had asked Mycroft to get it sent express so it would arrive the next day, containing some British things that you can't buy in America like proper gravy, a letter in Lithuanian for him, a letter for Will and a framed post card for Will reading 'Fairytales don't tell children that dragons exist, children already know that dragons exist, fairytales tell children that dragons can be killed.'. She'd also got to deliver a gift for Molly, a box of chocolates, one for Greg, joke crime scene tape saying 'Warning! Contents may be hot!' and Mycroft's, for him she'd chosen one of her favourite piano pieces "Sonata for a Good Man" she could tell he played piano by the quirk in his hands when he got annoyed. She'd also got to collect Chris's gift from the jewellers, she'd got him a ring similar to the one she shared with Louise and Milly. It was silver with two gemstones on the inside, aquamarine and sapphire, which looked lovely due to being light and dark blue respectively.

As for the other gifts John was getting a signed photograph of her brother which would be competed and wrapped tonight, Sherlock was getting books, a set of classic Agatha Christie murder mysteries and a Brecht poetry book, and Jay was getting a photograph of her and Chris and one of her with Sherlock and John, she'd even got Sherlock to smile on it, in a fashion. Sherlock had sent a copy of the picture to his parents and John had sent one to his sister too. All but John's were nicely wrapped and stored in the bottom of her wardrobe.

Jay looked out of the window, "There," She smiled and headed down the stairs.

"Jay," she greeted opening the door.

"Jay," he laughed in response hugging her.

"Have you had a nice trip?" She asked as they headed upstairs

"It's been okay, nice be back in the UK. California gets boring after ten weeks, but the filming's going well." Jay replied.

"Okay. And John and Sherlock are going to call me Paint whilst you're here so we don't get mixed up," She explained.

"Seems fair," Jay agreed, "So, got a partner yet?"

"Yes, actually, you?" Paint replied, they were sat on the sofa in the living room now, John was making drinks in the kitchen and Sherlock was observing Jay from his chair.

"Not yet," Jay smiled, "But I'm still looking."

John returned with the drinks, "So J-Paint, what have you got planned?"

"Erm I thought we'd catch up then watch some films, introduce Sherlock to some new 'cultural references' as he calls them. Maybe the Cornetto trilogy?" She replied.

"Sounds good to me," Jay contributed.

"There we go then. If I recall correctly it takes about eight hours to watch them all. We did it the Christmas that I got the dvds," Paint confessed.

They first has to set Paint's television up on the living room table, but once that was done they settled down on the sofa, all four of the squashed together and prepared for the marathon.

"So," Sherlock mused after watching Hot Fuzz, "The cast is all the same but the scenario is different in each one."

"Yeah, they're really nice people," Jay replied, "I've worked with Pegg, Frost and Freeman a couple of times, you couldn't ask for nicer friends. Martin Freeman looks a little like John don't you think?"

"Martin Freeman is the first officer Angel spoke to in Hot Fuzz," Paint told Sherlock, "And I agree Jay."

"I thought you would Jay," Jay answered.

John missed all this as he'd gone to the bathroom.

"Don't you think John looks a little like a hedgehog?" Paint asked.

"How d you even think of these?" Sherlock asked in response, "Last week you declared that I looked like an otter."

"Actually I see her point, you do look like an otter and John does look like a hedgehog. Don't you agree that she looks a little like a cat with the slight point to her ears? A cat or a Vulcan," Jay added.

John returned and fit back into the sofa wedge just at there was a knock downstairs on the door. Mrs Judson answered it. They could hear footsteps on the stair and Paint's phone buzzed.

You busy? ~Chris x

Give me a second ~Jay x

"Right, that's Chris at our door," She laughed, "So shove the sofa that way and I'll put the chair at this end for us, and let him in."

"Heyy," She smiled as she answered the door, kissing his cheek, "We've got a full house but come in."

So the two of them sat in Paint's chair and Sherlock, john and Jay spread out on the sofa a little more, they peaceful watched The World's End, Chris was a little upset he'd missed hot Fuzz but Paint promised they'd watch it together after Christmas. Which reminded Chris of the purpose of his visit.

"Oh," He wriggled out from under Jay, she was sat on him.

He returned from collecting his bag from the door, "Happy Christmas!"

"Oh thank you," She hugged him, "Would you like yours now or are you coming for Christmas dinner? I've bought enough."

"I'll come over then," Chris decided putting Jay's present under the tree.

"Oh," Paint suddenly realised, "This is my twin, Jay," She introduced pointing out unnecessarily, "Jay, this is Chris."

"Nice to meet you," They agreed.

At one in the morning they decided to call it a night and Jay called a cab to his hotel. Chris decided to crash at Baker Street and John offered his bed again.

But would Christmas morning be as exciting as they hoped?
