~Sixteen Years Later~
Pitch's POV
It was finally time to take what was mine. I'm possessive when it comes to what is mine. I know his foster family has never threw a birthday party for him. They were always cruel to my mate. I know exactly where he goes for his birthday, but this time he won't be returning to those horrid people called his family.
Jack's POV
It was my sixteenth birthday. It was just like any other day that was described in one word: horrible. I headed to the same spot I go to every year on my birthday only this time someone was hiding there, waiting for me.
