A/N: Hello, readers! Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but I'm a bit busy lately. Hope you enjoy what's here.
"Where's their respective planet?"
"The Terra Nerada. That's where their forests are located."
"Forests?"
"They hatch from their trees; the trees on Terra Nerada. So we need to go and put the book in their forests."
"And for now... the swarm is in here?"
The Doctor's formerly excited demeanor took a turn for the worse as he realized they were in the middle of a small swarm of Vashta Nerada who had - for some reason - not killed them all yet. He turned on his heel and watched the shadows of the TARDIS carefully. "Hullo up there!" he shouted to a particularly dark shadow. No reply. "Erm... we were just taking you back home. I know you're hungry, but just let us return you to the Terra."
"Who are you." a deep, menacing, raspy voice demanded. The Winchester brothers started, but the Doctor grinned. "Ah, yes! I'm the Doctor - hello! - and these are the brothers Winchester! Sam and Dean."
"What are you."
"Time Lord."
"You lie!"
"I do not! Time Lord, last of. From the planet Gallifrey. Nice to meet you."
"And you take us home, Doctor?"
"Erm... if that's quite alright. I'd hate to get on your bad side. Speaking of which, why haven't you killed us yet?"
"The Vashta Nerada do not need to explain ourselves."
"Right... okay." The TARDIS landed with a bang and the Doctor waltzed to the door, flinging it open and staring into an eerie, dark forest. Dean and Sam poked their heads around the TARDIS door and squinted into the black. "I can't see anything... it's too dark." Sam commented, turning to the Doctor. He snorted. "A forest that serves as the hatching grounds of living shadows, d'you think the visibility would be excellent?" he sighed, rolling his eyes. Sam shrugged as Dean rolled his eyes at him, in similarity to the Doctor himself. The latter ran back into the TARDIS and snatched up the book, sprinting back to the door and looking back at the Winchesters with excitement before tossing it into the forest and shutting the doors immediately. He leaned against the door, smiling dreamily and sighing. "Brilliant!" he squeaked. "Just brilliant."
Dean grinned despite himself. "That was really cool. That was another planet out there?"
"Completely different atmosphere. Would've killed us if we'd stepped outside the TARDIS' protective shielding."
Dean's smile turned to a frown, and he glanced at Sam nervously before puffing out air. "That puts a damper on stuff." he said. The Doctor jumped between them with animation and stood proudly beside the controls of his wonderful machine. "I promised you a trip, so pick where you wanna go!" he said excitedly. Sam and Dean glanced at each other, and before Dean could suggest the 'Wild West', he spoke up. "Let's just go back to Earth for now. We've gotta... y'know, check on Bobby and see if there are any cases we have to take care of." he said, much to Dean's resentment. "What?" he demanded. Sam shrugged at him. "What?"
"It's not like there are thousands of Hunters out there to do all of this stuff while we're gone. Besides, the Doctor said this thing's a time machine, right? That means he could take us away and we could be back fifteen minutes after we left.
"A lot of things can happen in fifteen minutes, Dean.
"Not stuff anyone else can't deal with. Come on, Sam! This is the opportunity of a lifetime - "
"Several, actually."
"Shut up, Doctor. Listen, Sam. This is the only chance we'll get to travel time and space with this raving lunatic."
"What? I am most certainly not - "
"I said shut up, Doctor. Time and space, Sam. We could go anywhere we wanted to."
"Well, you know, within the typical space-time parameters. We can't go hopping off into other dimensions, who knows what that would do to the time rotor!" the Doctor wailed, his hands flailing into the air. Dean stopped dead and turned to glare at him with a gaze that could freeze Hell over, which made the Doctor silence immediately and resume his work flying the TARDIS. "Sorry, sorry." he mumbled, waving a hand at Dean to continue. He turned back to his brother with a disgruntled sigh. "Come on, Sammy. Just one trip." he begged. After a moment of tense consideration, Sam put his hands on his hips and nodded, huffing. "Okay, fine. One trip. Just one." he agreed. The Doctor, hearing their conversation, grinned widely and began flying his time machine with more vigor, yelling and whooping and leaping about, showing off to his new visitors. "Where do we go next!" he shouted.
A/N: Hallo! Sorry this chapter's short, but I've no idea where they should go! Write a review and tell me where the Winchester brothers should be off to next!
