A/N: Well this is the next chapter. Sorry it has taken so long to get to you but I have been very busy and have not had time to work on my story. *Bows* Really really sorry fandom but here it is at long last. I hope you all enjoy it and as always I do not own the Labyrinth nor any of it's characters, much to my dismay.

Chapter Seven: Theallus, Hogules, and Finally Adopted

Jareth hummed to himself as he sat on his throne. Sarah was by the children's bedside along with her new handmaid. Nadine would come for him when the children awoke. Sarah was a dream come true and he had known all along that she would make the perfect queen. She was special, kind hearted and had a inner fire that burned as brightly as his own. He knew that from the first moment that he laid eyes on her.

"Youz wanted to sees me."

Jareth looked up and grinned. There before him was his beloved's friends. He watched as Sir Didymus, Ludo, and Hoggle knelt before him.

"Rise my subjects, there will be no bowing before friends."

"Friends, my lord!" Sir Didymus gasped in shock at the great honor. Hoggle gaped at his king as well. Jareth chuckled and nodded his head. Ludo looked to his king and gave a great smile. He was happy to have yet another friend.

"I have summoned you all here for a very important mission. One, I know that you all will have no trouble carrying out."

They all bowed their heads and awaited their instructions. Jareth took a long look at each of them before sighing in resignation. "This goes no further than this room understand?" He watched as they nodded their heads before he continued. "I believe master Toby and our future queen to be in danger. I cannot be with my beloved and my future children every second and while Sarah in quite powerful she is still new to our way of magic. You three have proven you worth in battle and in loyalty to our future queen and I ask you my friends to guard her with your lives. Master Toby has already been attacked. He is recovered but it is imperative that measures be taken to protect them."

The three gasped in shock at the news. They all knew that Jareth had enemies but to go so far as to harm a child... They couldn't fathom it. It was as good as treason. Ludo began to growl viciously. The rock yeti had always had a soft spot for children and despite his slow speech he was very intelligent. He just preferred to express himself using the simplest words.

Hoggle and Didymus began to growl as well. They all care greatly for their friends and were worried to hear such news. Jareth nodded again as he gazed upon the three before him before turning to his trusted knight. Sir Didymus was defiantly not to be over looked. He was much more than he appeared and Jareth knew that beneath that furry exterior was a hardened warrior of renowned skill and cunning. Oh sure he played down his abilities but his magic and fighting abilities were an extreme asset in battle. His form was but an illusion that he was fond of.

"Sir Didymus I am trusting that you will help train Sarah. She will need your knowledge and your sword. It would be best to keep your form as such for the time being. I think it will help lure the enemy into a false sense of security." He turned to the dwarf and sighed again. "Hoggle your mystic hammer would be a useful tool right now as I know it can deflect even the strongest of magic. I will need you to be combat alert. I have known from the moment you three entered my kingdom that you were not what you seemed."

"Sir knight, your prowess in battle is well know throughout the Underground, and you Hogules, I have known from the beginning that you are were heir to the dwarven kingdom Tillus and as such were in charge of the hammer and armor of Theallus. Your father has known where you have been from the beginning, since it is common curtsy to allow a king the knowledge of the location of his only son. He had scoured the lands trying to find you." Hoggle had the grace to look ashamed. He had wanted to live in peace but never did he want to make his father worry.

"I will send a message when I get the chance yer highness." Jareth nodded in understanding. He knew what it was like to have over protective and smothering parents. When he took the goblin throne his parents did ease up... Well his father did anyway. His mother still always had to know what he was up to and where he was at. She just pretended otherwise for his sanity. "Be sure you do. I have given your father updates as best I can however I know that he would prefer they come from you."

Hoggle nodded and took out a pendant with a crest imbedded in it. The crest had a hammer behind a shield with a diamond in the center. He closed his eyes and focused his life energy into it. There was a flash of blinding light that filled the throne room. It was so bright that everyone except the dwarf were forced to shied their eyes. When the light faded Hoggle's friends were shocked at the sight before them. Even Jareth wore surprise on his face as he studied the true appearance of his subject.

Hoggle had grown another two feet and his hair was now bright red and braided in two lengths down his back. Gone were the warts and in their stead was young and smooth skin. His true age and appearance was now revealed as his bright green eyes shone with strength. Hoggle was no coward in truth and he had never held any real fear of Jareth. He just didn't want to get into conflict with his king. He also had wanted to keep his lineage a secret but it looked like the jig was up. The pendant now gone and in its place was shining diamond armor. Hoggle was now wielding a shimmering diamond shield on his left arm and a giant obsidian hammer in his right. His muscles bulged as he twirled the hammer in his hand like it weighed nothing more than a mere twig.

Hoggle knelt once more before his king and with a deep booming voice he spoke the ancient right of Theallus. "By thy shield and hammer I wield, I pledge myself to you and yours. I shall not fail you my king!"

Jareth nodded his head in acknowledgement. "I know you won't Hogules." Hoggle stood and grinned showing a set of straight white teeth. "Now how to explain my appearance to Sarah." He and the others chuckled. Jareth grinned at the thought. 'Sarah was going to have a field day with this one.' he snickered to himself.

Just as Jareth was about to respond there was a pop and a shower of glitter. Turning to face the newcomer he saw that it was Nadine. She bowed her head and her soft blue hair covered her dark sapphire eyes. "The children have awakened my king."

"Rise Nadine and return to your mistress, I will adjourn there shortly." The fae nodded her head and without a word returned to her mistress. Jareth turned back to his companions and sighed. As he stood he nodded to each of them and with a wave of his hand the throne room was once more empty.

Sarah growled in frustration at her handmaid. Nadine was proving to be a problem. She glared at the bowed head before her. "Nadine, let us try this again! You will address me by my name! Not mistress, not highness, not my queen, and not my lady! Just Sarah!" Nadine shook her head fiercely in denial. Her eyes still lowered to the ground. Sarah threw her hands up in frustration at the handmaid's stubbornness not seeing the amused smirk that played at her handmaid's lips.

Turning around she sent a freezing glare at the children who were laughing at her expense. Her brother just laughed harder while grinning broadly. Ruyin was laughing softly until the glare than she quieted, a look of fear creeping into her amethyst eyes. Sarah sighed with regret. "Ruyin you have nothing to fear from me. I would never harm you sweetheart. In fact I" She stopped as she felt strong arms go around her waist. Growling in frustration she whirled around to glare at her beloved. Her emerald eyes promising death if she didn't get her way soon.

Jareth's eyebrows rose at the look in his love's eyes. She threw her hand out to the side and pointed to the woman on her left. "You need to talk to her, NOW!" She bit out with fury lacing her words. Jareth looked in surprise at the woman before him. Nadine was the best at her job. What on earth could she have done to make his beloved so furious? He wondered. "What has she done, love?" He questioned as he continued to gaze at the young woman's bowed head. Nadine made no move to defend herself against her lady's fury.

Sarah stepped out of her king's arms and threw her own back up into the air. "SHE REFUSES TO CALL ME BY MY NAME!" She roared with disgust. Jareth's lips twitched before he could stop them. "DON'T you dare laugh at me." She growled furiously seeing the twitch. Jareth couldn't help it he had to grin his jagged teeth showing. Sarah growled at her beloved again.

Jareth started to chuckle. "Words have power here, my love. All you have to do is order her to call you by your name."

Sarah sighed with exasperation. She turned to the woman and sighed. "Nadine, I order you to call me by my name and also you are to meet my eyes. I want us to be friends and friends do not bow before one another. Am I understood?" Nadine lifted her head and smiled before she nodded. "As you wish it so shall it be... Sarah." Her dark sapphire eyes sparkling with wonder at the honor and suppressed mirth at her mistress's frustrated tone. Sarah nodded appeased for now. She turned back to Jareth when her friends caught her eye.

"Sir Didymus! Ludo!" She gasped before rushing over to them grinning and she gave them a hug. She than turned to the dwarf and took stock of him. "Hello, I am Sarah. What is your name?" Hoggle grinned. "Sarah, my real name is Hogules." Sarah smiled. "That's funny I have a friend with a similar name. However his name is Hoggle." Hoggle grinned while rolling his eyes. He looked to his king and watched as his king took Sarah into his arms. Jareth chuckled at Sarah confused expression.

"Love, he is Hoggle. His real name is Hogules and this is his true appearance. He is a prince of the dwarven kingdom and heir to the throne of Theallus. I have asked that these three be your body guards. You are strong but still new to our magic. Sir Didymus will train you to fight. You will learn hand to hand combat as well as combat magic. Hogules will help you train in magic. His hammer, shield and armor deflect even the strongest of magic. So you will spare with him to gain experience." Sarah looked at him with shock.

"Why don't you teach me?"

Jareth sighed and shook his head. "I can not always be with you precious and with the adoption you will be vulnerable. They will be with you when I cannot. I do have responsibilities that I cannot ignore." Sarah nodded in understanding. Than turned to where the children were. "Ruyin... My brother is going to be my son. I was wondering if you would like to be adopted as well. I would love to have you as my daughter. You are a very sweet little girl and Jareth and I would love to be your parents. What do you think?"

A tear fell from amethyst eyes followed by others. It was all the little girl could do to nodded. She never thought she would be adopted. She had been left to the healer's guild when she was just one. It was all she ever wanted to have parents who loved her and would keep her safe. Sarah's heart went out to the little girl. She opened her arms and smiled as the child ran into them. She looked up at her brother and found him grinning. "So I will still have a sister after all."

Jareth nodded to the boy. "Yes you will have a sister but whats more you will have a twin." Toby grinned wider and did a fist pump. Ruyin smiled at his enthusiasm. "Awesome! I hope she will be the younger of us. I have always wanted to be a big brother." Jareth grinned in return. He looked to the girl and smiled. "Ruyin is that okay with you?" Ruyin's eyes shone with pleasure. She nodded happy that she would finally be a part of a family. Jareth smiled gently at her. "Well that let us proceed with the adoption."

Sarah nodded ready for what was to come. Nadine had filled her in on what would happen before hand. Jareth waved the girl over to the bed and motioned for her to lie down. Ruyin nodded, having saw an adoption once before, she knew what was to come. Sarah went and laid down between the two children. she wrapped her arms around the two and held them close. Jareth stood at the end of the bed and placed his hands on the two children. Summoning his energy he began the change.

Jareth focused his energy and let it flow into the two. The children started to glow blue and then he transformed them into two orbs of light. Holding the two children in his hands he quickly merged his DNA into the to spheres than putting the children in one hand he walked around quickly to his beloved. He place his hand on her stomach and started to search for the right egg. He found one quick enough and using his energy he started the joining process. First he put merged Toby with her DNA and then transferred him into her egg and then he did the same for Ruyin. he manipulated their energy and mixed their DNA. Than after that was done he cast a spell to make sure that Toby would be born first. The process to a grand total of fifteen minutes. After he was done with that he took Sarah's energy as well as his own and mixed it to form a shield around the two children so they would be protected and would not be a miscarriage.

Sarah opened her eyes as she let her energy touch the two within her. Her heart filled with joy at the thought that Jareth and she would be parents or two such wonderful children. She sat up gingerly and smiled tiredly at her beloved. He smiled back just as tired. It had taken a lot of energy to complete the adoption. He looked at his precious in awe. She glowed in that new mother way and he couldn't wait make her his. However that would have to wait. They both needed their rest. He turned to his subjects and let loose a tired yawn. "You three will stay here and guard us while we sleep. It took quite a bit of energy to complete the adoption. We are very tired." The trio nodded in understanding. Jareth turned and crawled into the bed. He wrapped his arms around his precious and held her tight. Sarah curled into him and within minutes they both were fast asleep.

Raidon sighed. It had been a long day. It was finally time to go. He had locked up the house tight and readied himself for transportation. With a wave of his hand he shimmered out of sight. Now it was time to finally go home.

"THE GODS TAKE IT!" The father hurled a ball of fire toward the wall of his room. It was empty except for his daughter.

"Father, it hurts. Please can you not heal it?"

The father snarled viciously before turning to look at his daughter as she clutched her side trying to stop the bleeding. "You know as well as I, that I have no talent for healing. You will have to suffer with that wound! It was your own carelessness that got you the wound in the first place. You know as well that we cannot call for a healer. That energy signature is a dead give away. We would be turned into the High King in before our next breathe. We will just have to bind it and make do." He snapped as he waved his hand over toward his daughter. Bandages appeared and started to move forward like snakes with his other hand he snapped his fingers and her clothes were removed. The bandages wound themselves around the woman's waist and proceeded to bind her bloody side good and tight.

"We will get them back. We will over throw Oberon and that bitch, Titania! Mark my words they will fall!" He shouted furiously.

"They will fall." he muttered anger spent for now. Now how to get the damn child. Time for a new plan. He nodded to himself. Yes, time for a new plan indeed.
