Chapter Eleven: Awake and Gone

Sarah opened her eyes and sat up. Hoggle and Sir Didymus were waking up beside her.

"Finally your AWAKE!"

Sarah gasped, not realizing that anyone was in the room. She watched as Nadine rushed over to her side. "I couldn't, they are gone, I didn't know what to do! Allilianna and I can't reach anyone. He"

WHOA! Whao, whoa, slow down Nadine. Take a deep breath and start from the beginning." Sarah held her hands up to her shaking friend. Allilianna came bursting through the door at that moment. "MY HEAD MISTRESS IS GONE!"

Between Hoggle trying to calm the crying healer to Sir Didymus trying to calm an upset Ludo to Nadine trying to explain everything at once. Sarah clapped her hands and gave a piercing whistle that echoed over all the noise in the room. It stopped everyone at the same time. As her whistle died down she took a deep breath before standing up from the bed.

First, she turned to her big friend who was the most upset. The noise combine with everyone else being upset had made him upset as well. "Ludo, my friend." She came over to him and wrapped her arms around him enveloping him in a comforting hug. "It's okay Ludo, Don't worry. Are you hungry?" At the yeti's nod Sarah smiled, having her his stomach rumble. "Hoggle, can you.."

Her friend nodded before turning to the small upset healer. "I'll be right back. Don't worry. We will get to the bottem of this. Explain what has happened to Sarah." Sarah watched as Allilianna's hand reached out to stall her friend. "Hogules, you promise you will come back." She whimpered still scared. Hoggle nodded. "Don't worry Lili, I'll come back." Sarah wondered with a small smile when the two of them had become so close but it looked like her friend was hooked.

Sarah turned to Nadine with a frown. "Nadine you are starting to hyperventilate. Stop and take a deep breathe!" Her friend took a gasping breath but continued to shake. Sarah was bemused as she motioned for Nadine to sit on the bed. "Now start at the beginning."

Nadine nodded trying to compose herself. "It's everywhere! The Kings and Queens of the kingdoms are gone! They were supposed to hold court and no one can get through the doors to see if they are in there. It is chaos everywhere. A messenger came here to see if our King was here but he isn't. The goblins are in a frenzy. The news is spreading like wild fire. "

"Tis not just the royals, tis the heads of all the guilds as well. The guild's are not in so much chaos but they are still in a panic as well. Rucillo is the only kingdom that is not in a frenzy. The old king has returned to Rucillo and has kept the panic under control. A messenger has just arrived asking for you. Tis King Raidon's wish to speak with you."

Sarah's head snapped up her eye's wide as her breath whooshed out, leaving her to gasp. "Did you just say Raidon?" At seeing the healer's nod her heart thudded heavily in her chest. He father was back! But how? She shook her head. First things were first. She had to calm her subjects. "Sir Didymus, I want you to go to the high kingdom and start to calm the chaos there. Then branch out to the other kingdoms. I have a feeling that Canum is behind this and we have to protect the portals to the aboveground! That should be our first priority. That and calming the kingdoms. Have the generals of each kingdom or their second in commands meet with me in the throne room in a hour and a half. If Canum wants a war then that is what he is going to get!" She growled furiously.

"As you wish your highness, but what about the high council room?" He questioned, his eyes shining with unspoken pride as his pupil shook her head. "We can not worry about that right now. We have to take care of the our people first." He bowed to her than with a flash of light he winked out of sight. She turned to Nadine.

"Nadine, summon my subjects for my address. I would calm their hearts and rally their spirits. I will give you a hour to do this." Nadine nodded her eyes wide with awe at her soon to be queen. She shimmered immediately out of sight.

"Allilianna, I want you to go to all of the guilds and tell them that the Goblin King's Betroth asks them to keep attending to thier regular duties. Make sure they understand that they are NOT to deviate from this. Tell them that there is one who is trying to divide us and cause panic and chaos. They are NOT to allow that to happen."

Hoggle had returned as she had started to address the small fae. "Sarah, perhaps it would be a good idea for me to go with her. As heir to the throne of Tillus, they will listen to a prince faster than to a healer." Sarah nodded in agreement. "After that is done, I want you to go to your kingdom Hoggle, we will need warriors and weapons and armor. Tell your blacksmiths to stoke their fires and ready their hammers! Allilianna I want you to go to each of the healers once your task is complete. Tell them to be ready for war! Hoggle, how many portals to the aboveground are there?"

"There are 13 portals to the aboveground. Each kingdom has their own portal. You think that is what they are after? The portals?" Sarah shook her head. "No. I think that is where they will attack from. Most do not know it but the Aboveground is not completely without magical creatures. There have been more and more sightings of them with in the past 100 years. I have been thinking about that for a while now. However if my suspicions are correct he has been rallying them for sometime. I think that's the reason they couldn't find him here in the underground was because he was hiding out in the Aboveground." Hoggle nodded and took Allilanna's hand with a slight blush. It was so light that Sarah almost didn't catch it. She smirked slightly. It was sweet to see her best friend crushing on the pretty fae.

Darious stalked his prey as she made her way with their pack to a cave entrance. The winds were picking up as the snow fell faster. As she stopped he rushed out of the forest full speed transforming quickly while aiming a strike at her back. Only to have it blocked. He watched as she smirked before she aimed an attack at his throat forcing him to step back. They wolves howled at the challenge before forming a wide circle around their pack alphas.

Maya chuckled as she took up her stance. She knew he had been following her. She had caught a glance of him when she was dealing with the morons that had been attacking her earlier. She took a good long look at her adversary.

This might actually be the one to defeat her she thought with glee. Or at the very least give her a run for her money. She knew he had seen her powers. If he wanted to play, she wouldn't hold back. Ice shards flew from her fingers toward him as she rushed in. Her eyes widened as he waved his hand, the shards veering off toward the ground to the side of him.

She saw him smirk and the battle began. Her hands freezing as she summoned her ice to her touch. He countered each one of her blocks. Not once attacking back. She growled as she realized that he was playing with her. She backed away slowly and put up a thick shield as she changed her outfit. Ice flew from her fingers as water washed over her.

The wind whirled swirling around her as her hair pulled into a high pony-tail. Silver streaks forming as the tips of her hair became frozen points, sharper than a dagger. Water flowed over her chest as her shirt melted away. The water hardened into chest armor of the hardest ice. While water traveled down her arms hardening in spots. Her forearms had bands of hardened Ice as well as ice bracers. The water hardened into open finger gloves with spikes at the knuckles. Her leather pants and boots stayed the same except they were streaked with frost.

Darious's eyes widened as the winds died down. Lust hit him hard as he took in the warrior woman in front of him. By the gods she was beautiful. He snapped out of his awe as she attacked with a fury. He dodged as ice sliced through the air and countered with shards of ice of his own. He took advantage of her surprise and rushed at her ice forming in his hands to create knives.

He watched as she snapped out of her daze and she whirled around the winds coming forth and he was forced to back flip to dodge the icy blades of her hair. He cursed as he sent a flurry of ice spheres toward her. He watched as she easily blocked them all. His eyes searching desperately for a weakness. He sent another flurry of spheres toward her as he rushed in again aiming a kick for her feet as she blocked the spheres.

Maya dodged doing a handspring seeing through the guise, as her hand touched the snow it turned to ice and she sent a vine of ice toward the warrior. She was surprised as he blocked it. An ice barrier rising from the ground to block her low attack. She growled in frustration. She started to run around him looking for a weakness. She jumped high into the air to send out a flurry of ice shards before she realized her mistake. He dodged the ice and caught her. Before she could blink she was slammed to the ground. Neatly pinned under him, his lips on hers as he gave her a searing kiss.

Darious couldn't take it anymore. She was equal to him, the match that he had never hoped to find. He could tell she had fae blood in her. He ground into her as their pack howled at his victory. he was violent in his possession of her lips. Despite the ice that clearly flowed through her vines her lips were as warm as her smile he had seen earlier.

The ice around Maya's chest and hair melted away as she kissed him back with equal passion. She had found her equal and she was damned if she wasn't going to enjoy the fruits of his efforts in having her. She ground into his length gasping in surprise at the size of it. No way that would fit! She tore her lips from his to speak however all thought was lost as he kissed his way down her neck and took her nipple in his hot mouth. She ached her back as he gently bit her nipple before sucking it harshly. His other hand pinching and flicking the other puckered breast.

Darious watched her as she thrashed her head at his play. His mouth latched onto her other nipple before he got a wicked idea. He call ice to one hand and ran his hand over her nipple and breast. Her scream of pleasure was music to his ears. Re-calling his ice he let his hand warm her as his other hand let go of the wrist he was holding to drift down to her hip.

He growled low in his throat as he willed their clothes away. He watched as she cried out in surprise at the sudden cold against her back before his mouth deviled between her nether lips. He wanted to howl at the sweet taste of her. She thrashed her head around as her hips rose to meet his questing lips. He bit her inner thigh and was rewarded with her cry as she climaxed hard.

Maya cried out again, her throat horse from her screams. She growled, her eyes flashing as the alpha in her rose to the front. She gripped his head as she pulled him forcefully up to meet her lips. She hooked her leg around his and pushed. With him now on his back she began to attack his body. She felt him shutter as her sharp nails trailed down his chest. He had a perfect chest. Strong and well muscled with broad shoulders.

She straddled him rubbing her soaked core against his hard length and was rewarded with his moan. She felt his hands go to her waist and knowing what he was going to try, she bit down hard on his shoulder in punishment. Her eyebrows rose at his whimper of apology. She licked up the blood that she had drawn moaning at the taste. She nipped and licked her way down to his hard length. She lightly grasped it marveling at its hardness yet velvety softness. She could see something dripping from its tip and she leaned forward and licked it off.

Her eyes went wide and she started to suck his shaft in earnest. She knew about men and women however this was the first time for her. She watched his reactions to what she did. She noticed that his hands clenched tighter as she licked the ridge around the tip. She smirked as she remembered what he had done to her earlier. She took him as deep as she could into her mouth and let the ice flow for just a second before warming her mouth again.

"BY THE GODS!" Darious shouted as he came hard. His hands sunk into his woman's hair as he felt her swallow around him. Never had he experienced such before. He jerked into her, his hands tightening again as he felt himself swell again in her mouth. He watched as the temptress pulled him out and licked her lush lips. He groaned as she held his gaze while she leaned forward to lick his tip again. Hardening again, he let loose a growl and threw her onto her back earning him another hard bit drawing more blood but he was beyond caring at this point. He needed to be in her NOW!

Maya let out a squeal of surprise at the prick of pain as the warrior flipped her over it her hands and knees before he thrust into her and stilled. She heard him curse but she was to busy with the feeling she had. She felt some pain but not much. Mostly she felt full. So full like she had been empty without knowing it until her warrior. She moaned as she felt him withdraw and she moved backward to keep him in her.

Darious let out an oath as he felt her move back not letting him pull out. He let his head drop down between her shoulders as tears pricked at his silver eyes. He would have been far more gentle with her if he had known. He groaned as he felt her move experimentally on him. He gritted his teeth at the feel of her tight sheath sucking him in. He could take it no more when she gave a particularly hard shove back onto him.

Maya heard him growl behind her before he tightened his grip on her hips and thrust in deep and swift. She let out a scream as pleasure flooded her body. She pushed back trying to keep up with his thrusts before her arms gave out from the pressure and she let the pleasure lift her higher until she saw stars. She felt one of his hands tangle in her hair and she gave a whimper letting him take control as she instinctively bared her neck to him. She came again as she felt his shape teeth sink into her neck flooding her with his power. There was so much power she didn't think that she coul...

Darious felt her black out as her power surrounded them and encompassed him. She was far stronger than he had first thought. It was hard to believe that she was once only part fae though not anymore. He pulled his teeth back. His climax had been the strongest of his life and his arms were shake as he fell to his side taking her with him.

He didn't know who her parents were but he would find that out later. right now it was all he could do to transport them to his chambers and put a up shield around them. His arms encircling her as he gave into sleep as well unaware of the hell that awaited his mate.

The silver haired fae sighed with regret at what he was had to do. He cast a dark sphere toward the sleeping couple. The high prince disappearing with in its depths. "Now it is up to the two."
