Hello it's me again Kazama, and I am sorry I haven't updated lately. I heard my favorite animator named Monty Oum died at the age of 33 due to allergic reaction on February 1, 2015. I may have not known the man, but he inspired many to reach their dreams as well stories. The staff at Rooster Teeth encourages others to expand their imagination to make the world better. I may not be the best writer, but my last reviewer touched my heart with their review. Let's stop with the depressing stuff and get on the with my readers responses.

Whatstoknow: Thank you for reviewing my story

lincoln time: Link's body temporary grows to his former self, but he can control at will at a later time.

Dragonspirit996: Thank for loving the chapter and I threw in the twist to make the story more interesting.

Ultima-owner: True, I like the way I presented that battle. Fairy Tail may seems light hearted on a lot of things, but there are dark emotions in it. Many have fallen to it or the people around them. I wanted to portray that a Kingdom isn't all that good… some were dictators. Some just took things out of greed and lust since they couldn't have it.

Rydan Fall: I know my grammar sucks and I do make typos. I try to fix every mistake, but I'm only human. I am still looking for a beta to overlook my story. All the good ones seemed to be dedicated to other people stories.

Nalufordays: I was ashamed of putting up such a story with big grammatical errors, but I am glad you enjoyed the first version. I know your love for Nalu is strong, but I am still leaning for Mirajane, Hisui, or Lucy in my story. I may delay any pairings to help build up the story properly unlike a majority of other writers I see.

Jose19: It is true that Lucy is underestimated character of the series. Often she is the one telling the story overall compared to the others in it. She was paired up with three strong individuals that completely eclipse her due to their talents. Sometimes I wish she would pair up with other characters like Cana, Levy, Laki, and even Mystogan. For instance Mystogan entrusted her to help save their friends and let her be able to use magic. It seems a little lackluster not explaining why he trusted her to keep his identity.

Libby8980: I know Navi is so cute at times; I will try to place her in the story as much possible. I will place her in the next chapter and I will guarantee it.

Han-ko: Thank you for the compliment, I at least wanted to give a reason why would Navi leave in the first place. Plus the battle seemed very fitting for old warrior to fight an upcoming new one.

Bucket of Freaks: You may be shocked by the last chapter, but I plan on putting more awe inspiring chapter in the future.

Jmw: Let me clear this up with you before I go further. Goddess Hylia reincarnated herself into a woman named Zelda. It gives Skyward Sword Manga credit to the game if you read it. She bestowed her chosen hero the master sword, but he gave it back to her before he died. The hero turned spirit was reincarnated with each Link. For instance in alternate world Link was the god who watched over Termina after the Din, Farore, and Nayru left it. In a sense of things, Link is wearing a fragment of Oni to fight Majora. Majora reverenced him as a robber and he was a cop. In the Majora's mask manga it details a man stopping such a beast from killing man by making it dance to death. Then he carved Majora's mask of its armor, meaning he took it from his original body.

Above everything else, Link didn't even know about a Goddess of Time until Talt told him about it. He was forced to turn back the clock several times in a quick haste, making him take for granted the Ocarina's ability. Thank you for not being another Erza pairing supporter. There are too many beginning within the first place and it gets real boring after a while.

Strum and Drang: It's true I have seen many stories where the OC or another verse character immediately joins other guilds because it's convenient. Often people don't understand joining a guild does present problems. What happens if you are unable to complete some for having no talent in the area? What happens if the whole guild is very active and finding a job is harder than expected? On top of that its reputation makes it even harder to get a job as well. A real person will try to look into some things first and then research the guild. I am sorry for the repetitive words at times; I need to update my Microsoft Windows again.

Schniedragon88: It's funny how life does get in the way of things. I do like to mix up things and actual blend Link's home magic and Earthland's magic's in the future. I plan on him learning some take over magic if it's possible for his wolf form or maybe not. I plan on giving Link on giving him well… you have to read to see what I'm giving him next. But it's a weapon that allows him to use a certain magic.

SteamRail74: Thank for the words of encouragement, I do need to get my grammar done still. I didn't want Link to stay in the typical Hyrulian mind-set magic and fantasy. I wanted to adjust to their life and ways in Fiore without rushing my story. I wanted to find a balance in my story with fighting, description, and dialogue. Having too much of one side wouldn't portray Link's life despite the lack of voice in games. I don't want to sound like a Gary Stu or there is nothing wrong with Link, but I plan on giving him some problems in the future. He isn't going to receive some great magical boost or badass magical items until later down the road. I am not using time arc's natural ability to amplify his magic container. I prefer having my Link using his natural skills for negotiating, sword play, archery, potion making, and other things take focus of the story. I thank you for favoring and following my story along with me. It really lifted my spirits lately after dealing with some family problems.

A Knight among Mages

Chapter 6:

A legacy lives on

Link stood up sheathing the Goddess sword and mirror shield on his back. He looked around for a moment and he quickly noticed that castle had no roof. A huge cut split the castle in half and it left burn marks along the ground. He saw the town before him damaged from his last attack. A straight line of buildings were destroyed as the clouds in the sky mirrored the cut.

"It seems like I over did it…?" Link muttered.

Darton looked incredibly at Link. "Over did it… you destroyed the part of the town as well the castle!"

Link shrugged off the comment as he soon sent his sword and shield into his pocket dimension. "I worried more about saving your lives than a few buildings." Link explained to him. Darton stayed quiet and regretfully nodded.

"It's finally over…" Hisui muttered.

"That was amazing fight Mr. Kokiri! That was one for the record books, but what was the last magic you used?" Toma asked him.

"It's called Goddess Magic, the Goddess Farore taught me on how to use it. She and her sisters help watch over the Ordona province in Fiore." Link answered him.

"I see…" Toma told muttered. A look of fear was on his face. Link felt a familiar surge of magic coming behind. He turned to see what it was that scared the king stiff.

He saw a demonic version of Mordred's armor standing behind him. It was black with a red tint outlying it. It was now holding Mordred's sword as it stood up and gave off a dark chuckle.

"Not bad knight," it muttered.

Darton, Toma, and Hisui looked on in fear. "The demon still exists." Darton muttered in confusion.

The demon shook its head. "I am Mordred's consciousness that was imbued into a fragment of the demon that taught him Demon Slayer magic. You can call me Nero for the time being though." Nero explained.

"I see, but it doesn't explain why Mordred would leave something like you behind." Link pointed out.

Nero tossed the sword to Link who easily caught it the blade by its hilt. "Simple, during the enchanting process Mordred imbued his Demon slayer magic into the blade. It was to ensure the next user can use demon slayer magic as long the blade was attached to their body. You will then be allowed to use the moves that Mordred used without the drawbacks." Nero explained.

"Why would I need that when I have my Goddess Magic?" Link asked Nero.

"Link, the Book of Zeref's demons still exist even to this very day and they don't fear holy magic like real demons do. They are all man-made demons' and they are very resistant to holy magic itself." Nero explained that sent shivers up Toma, Darton's and Hisui's backs.

"You say they still exist! That is impossible the last known demon was Deliora who sealed away in ice by Ur in Isvan!" Darton shouted.

"Well you are mistaken Minister of Defense, Mordred managed to seal away Lullaby somewhere in Fiore before he learned his Demon Slayer magic. Lullaby was one of the Book of Zeref's demons' and he also encountered another one of them. That one almost killed him in battle if it wasn't for me saving him. The one who released Mordred from his prison had the taint of one Zeref's demons on him. The man, no the corpse that was reanimated with a curse… he also knew how to use Ice Demon Slayer art." Nero explained.

"That doesn't make since! Why would a corpse want to kill demons, especially if they knew an art that kills them? You are obviously lying to us!" Hisui shouted.

"I am not capable of telling you or Link lies. The man's eyes looked like Mordred's, they were filled with anger. I can only speculate why would he do… he was mostly likely killed by a demon and then revived by a curse. He holds resentment against all demons, but he can't raise a hand against them yet. Maybe his master is using him to put fear in other demons and eliminate potential rivals who come along. Remember Arthur was coerced to seal away Mordred due to a power struggle amongst the demon hierarchy." Nero theorized.

"Demon's don't have a true hierarchy, it's only the strongest, most cunning, and the most ruthless make it to the top." Toma agreed with the idea.

"Are you going to show me how to perform the moves correctly Nero," Link asked him.

Nero nodded. "Correct, I will start teaching you the art when you turn fourteen years old. I can properly show you how to use the moves unlike some book with missing information." Nero explained. Nero's body began to be absorbed into the blade. "I am yours to be commanded."

Link channeled his magic through the blade as he swung it underhanded it like Mordred did. "Dead Spike!" Link shouted. A familiar carnivorous beast head shot out from the sword before it dispersed. "It seems I wasted a lot of magic with that last attack, but the sword does as Nero claims."

Link twirled the blade and sent it away in his pocket dimension. He pulled out his ocarina from his pouch to get ready to play the song of time.

"Are you really going to take a word of a demon?" Hisui asked Link.

"Of course, I would take his word for it. All Mordred wanted was to help save his people and the love of his life. In the end he was betrayed by his own King who gave in to his lust and greed. If Mordred can suppress the demon inside him, it proves that even humans can resist demon's temptations. I will help carry on their legacy that was squandered by betrayal. I wonder if they were still around to this day, Fiore wouldn't have the problems it is facing right now." Link lectured them.

Toma sighed as he turned to Darton. "Darton be sure to correct the history's book to reflect the truth please by next week." Toma ordered.

"Your majesty we need to calculate the damages as well casualties first." Darton told him.

They heard a melody flowed through the air as Link walked away from the scene. They saw the castle reforming before their eyes and town.

"Impossible…"

"If he could already control his age, that means he can control the flow of time on an object as well." Hisui muttered. She turned back to the middle of thrown room to see Link gone. "He already left…"

"Well we don't have to worry about calculating the damages now, Darton. We will let Arcadios and the other knight squadrons' check on how many injured or dead. I want you to revise the portion of history and add Mr. Kokiri in the books as well. Be sure to send Arcadios to find Mr. Kokiri afterwards with an invitation for a knighting ceremony as well." Toma ordered.

Darton nodded. Hisui turned towards her father. "Can I be the one to knight him, Father?" Hisui asked her father.

"You want to knight him yourself Princess Hisui? What brought this on?" Darton asked her.

A small blush crossed her face. "One day I will need to do it myself, besides that he needs to be recognized for his efforts as well." Hisui explained.

Toma nodded. "Very well my little jewel, but you do realize you need to study proper etiquette for the ceremony, now." Toma agreed.

"I understand papa," Hisui agreed.

"I am so fired up!"

A boy with pink hair and black eyes shouted in excitedly. He wore a white scarf around, red shirt, yellow shorts, and brown boots.

Several people huddle around the newspaper Makarov just read this morning. He sat on the counter as Gildarts sat in seat next to him as he smiled. Laxus sat not too far actually looking at his own version of the newspaper.

"Calm down Natsu, you don't want to burn down the guild with your excitement." Gildarts warned him.

"I had no idea that Link was that strong! Now I really want to fight him!" Natsu shouted happily.

"Calm down flame brain, even if you did fight him he would beat you hands down." Gray insulted him.

"What!" Natsu shouted. "I will stomp him into the ground!"

Enno sat a glass of beer in front of Gildarts as she turned to the boys. "Well even if you wanted to fight Link. It would be problematic since he is grounded now." Enno explained them.

"Grounded, why he would he be grounded for saving the king and princess from a demon!" Natsu shouted.

Cana took the time to stop Gray from taking off his clothes. She turned towards Natsu holding a finger up. "She didn't want him to fight the demon alone like that. After the knighting ceremony he was officially grounded. She even took his weapons away and locked it up in vault in the workshop. She doesn't even want him to leave the property unless she has allows it herself." Cana explained.

Gray somewhat frowned. "Well when you put it that way I can understand why he is grounded." Gray sympathized.

A little girl with blue hair and hazel eyes was sitting down next to them. She read her newspaper with interest unlike the others. She wore yellow shirt with a red strip going down the middle of it, brown skirt, and sandals. Erza overlooked her shoulder reading as she read with her.

"I can't believe that Link is already knighted, he is one year younger then me, Levy…" Erza muttered in envy.

"Well he did stop the demon from killing from the Royal Family, though I wonder what the real story is. The paper said a demon managed to possess a Rune Knight body that came from the old order. I bet he had some impressive letter magic," Levy muttered.

Erza patted her head. "Well it does say that Link inherited the Rune Knights secret arts. So you may have a chance of seeing it if Link actually mastered the magic." Erza comforted her.

"Really, will share some of his letter magic with me?" Levy asked her.

Erza shrugged. "I don't know about that, but I know he would try to teach people that match his moral goals." Erza explained.

"We should break him out of his own house!" Natsu shouted enthusiastically.

Erza shouted. "That would be almost impossible due to the rune magic and surveillance magic surrounding Link's home." Erza explained to him.

"Well…" Natsu muttered.

"If it only targets intruders' then we would have nothing to worry about then. Gray and I are allowed to come over Link's unless they are not there. We can bring you along to ensure the defenses don't activate. If you ever need help from Konoe Onee-san about learning magic you can see her." Cana suggested.

"That's excellent! One of us can go distract Konoe and the other go gets Link. Then I can fight him and prove who is the strongest." Natsu shouted happily.

"Natsu, Link has a training courtyard in front of his house. You really don't have to go far as to drag him into the city. Personally I want to see the inside of their workshop and see what magical items they can make. I heard the Minister of Defense and critics all around praise Konoe Onee-san and Link's craftsmanship." Erza expressed her interests.

"I want to ask Link and Konoe- Onee-chan more about letter magic. I don't want to come there to actually fight." Levy muttered.

"Then I will fight him alone, while you chat away with Konoe." Natsu told him.

"You do remember his weapons are sealed away in some vault?" Gray asked him.

Natsu stopped for a moment. "Well if he is good as they say. He can take me on without his weapons. Let's go see him now." Natsu told them.

The group of kids quickly ran out the guild with smiles on their face. Makarov sighed. "I just hope Natsu doesn't try to burn down Link's house." Makarov muttered.

"Master, you do remember Link has time magic? He can easily reverse the damage to his house sustained in an instant." Gildarts reminded him.

"Sometimes I wonder if I should have recruited him into our guild along with Konoe. Link can easily undo the damage to the buildings you destroy. Konoe got the fine nice curvaceous body-" Makarov was cut off by Enno punching him.

It knocked over his beer as she shook her head. "I will be sure to tell my friend you said such perverted things." Enno told him.

Makarov cried up as he saw his beer sprawled on the floor. "My beer…"

"You will be cleaning up your own mess this time." Enno scolded him as Gildarts laughed.

"Master, you are getting into trouble with the ladies here again." Gildarts laughed. "I am surprised you haven't ended up in the hospital by now or being sued."

Makarov rubbed his beard for a moment. "That reminds me I have to pay a visit to Konoe about my offer."

Link sat in his study room in his house, he yawned as he looked at his paper he was writing. He wore usual green Kokiri clothes with green slippers. He was at his natural eleven year old height instead of his adult form. He looked over his paper detailing the possible methods that time magic can used.

"This is torture; Konoe-sensei is making me write a 100 page essay on the effects of time magic." Link muttered. "Fighting monsters is easier than writing these papers. At least I am finally done now."

Link tidy up the paper and put into a plastic envelope to make sure nothing happened to it. He saw some letters on his desk that he received this morning from Konoe.

He found one was from Lucy and one from Hisui.

He opened the one from Lucy opened up first.

"Dear Link,

It's been a while since I last received your last letter. I am currently going to an all girls' school in Fiore away from my father Mansion. It's one of the best all girl schools in the country named St. ValkyrieAcademy in Azalea Town. It's where Mermaid Heel's Guild is situated as well. It's an all girls guild. Their first rule is no boys allowed whatsoever. That reminds me have you joined a guild yet? After defeating a demon in one on one combat, I would think you would get a lot of offers to join one.

Personally I don't think you would join a guild that doesn't match your morals and ideals. Wait… before I forget, thank you for my birthday present Link. My whole class was so jealous when they found out it was handcrafted by you. A silver necklace with a gold key attached to it with a pink diamond at the key's bow, you really made a thoughtful gift. Personally I wish I had some talent in crafting something like you do. Papa won't lend me money to buy you a gift and it truly makes me sad to my first friend gives me such a wonderful gift.

I wish mama was here to see it… no, I will not talk about it here. This is supposed to be a cheery letter to you. I heard she was donated to science in hopes to find a cure for others one day. My mama would no doubt agree to it. By the way, congratulations are in order Sir Link on your knighting. You were even knighted by Princess Hisui of all things and she seemed really happy knighting you.

I would like to hear more about what is going on lately in your life as well the events leading up to you fighting a demon. The other girls in the class really want to know as well. They even want to meet you in person, but knowing you. You're probably busy training or creating new magical items. Sorry if I have to make this letter short, but I have to go sleep now since it's almost curfew.

Stay safe Sir Link

Your friend,

Lucy"

Link just smirked and shrugged. "At least she is happy in that all girl's school rather than that miserable mansion. Maybe I should her visit her in person if I can't do that, at least send her gift to receive. It's not that I don't like being called Sir Link, it just seems too much for me, I preferably like to be called just Link."

Link looked at his first edition newspaper of his knighting that sealed in glass case. It showed Hisui knighting him as it he knelt.

Two weeks ago

Fiore, Crocus

Waiting room

11:00AM

Link scratched his head as he adjusted his helmet. He wore a grey wolf like helmet over his head. It had his green cap sticking out of the back of it. He was wearing a black full body suit underneath the armor that composed of a metal alloy. The armor was composed of Mythril that was harder than steel and light enough for him to run around. The designed was more streamlined unlike normal knight armors were clunky and cumbersome. It was built on reliability and speed as its primary concerns. Magnetic magic plates held the armor together making it easier for Link to put in on in seconds rather than minutes.

They were aligned along his shoulders, chest plates, legs, and forearms where. They armor was painted greenish gray colored with white and gold markings that accented it. Even his knuckles had small metal plates with the back of his hand.

He wore a green cape with gold Crocus of Fiore symbol on his back. Link finally secured his Glided sword on his hip.

Link heard the doors behind him opening. He turned around to see who entered the room and he saw Arcadios standing there with a smile. "Well it looks you are getting knighted today. The armor made by the local smith and Konoe at the last minute looks wonderful.

Link groaned catching the man off guard. "…" Link grunted.

Arcadios sighed. "Let me guess Link, after this ceremony your punishment will begin?" Arcadios guessed.

Link nodded. "Three months without of no fighting, missions, and working my local job. She will take all my weapons away and I will be studying magic for three months straight. She has already decided what the first paper will be. It will be on time magic and its affects towards people as well the environment." Link explained.

"Well it's most likely she cares about your life, so you have to put up with it. If fighting Mordred alone was the reason why you got grounded then you should be thankful that it wasn't a year. Truthfully if you did bring her along she would have been a liability due to miasma the Mordred was producing. Well put that behind and stop with the frowning this is a special day after all."

Link nodded as he smiled. "Okay," Link agreed.

"You are being knighted today, but the princess is going to knight you herself. Remember this is her first knighting someone so relax. There will also be reporters there, council members, and possible guild masters there as well. No pressure huh," Arcadios told him.

"Guild Masters…" Link muttered.

Arcadios waved Link on as he nodded. "Well there are some famous ones here like Phantom Lord who is very interested in you. His name is Jose Porla, though he won't ask outright during the ceremony. The party however he might try talking to you. Council member Org is here to present you with some job opportunities' for you as well, but personally I wouldn't accept them." Arcadios warned him.

"Why not," Link asked the knight.

"It's simple really the council does a lot of questionable things. All the king cares about is the fact that magic will not destroy country apart. Each Council member has their own agendas' and the missions there are not…" Arcadios explained.

"Not the best intentions let alone honorable." Link finished for Arcadios.

Arcadios nodded. "If he asks you about, tell him you only take noble missions and not assassination missions. You are not a political tool Link; don't let them use you because they can't get the job done. If it's for a dire reason I can understand that, but please do not hesitate to send a letter to me. You can even send the Minister of Defense one as well seeing it is job to help protect the kingdom." Arcadios explained as Link nodded. They finally reach double set of doors to see a huge crowd.

Link cracked his neck. He saw Hisui standing there with a smile with an elegant white dress and shoes. She was holding Bellum in her hands in. She wore a gold tiara with huge rhombus ruby in the middle of it. She wore pearls around her neck.

"Well I wonder if Mordred felt this way when he was knighted." Link thought. He walked calmly in with proud and graceful stride.

Link's thought were interrupted by the sounds of footsteps coming his way. He looked up to see Konoe crossing her arms. She wore a purple dress with slippers since it was comfortable.

"I see you have time to read letters now, are you done with your paper detailing Time magic?" Konoe asked him.

Link handed the plastic envelope to her as she took it out of the sleeve to read it. "Well take a break for now, while I get to read this. I am surprised to fact you managed to keep it neat and readable." Konoe complimented him. She walked over to her own seat to read the paper.

Link pulled out the letter from Hisui now. It had a royal seal on the letter compared to the other ones he wrote. He carefully opened it to read it.

"Dear Link,

It's only been a week since we last talked at the ceremony. I am still not good at writing letters to people and I forgot to ask you for your address. Luckily I asked Arcadios if he knew your address and he gave it to me. I was inspired by your fight with Mordred that night and I felt so helpless. I could use magic like you, but I was powerless. You courageously faced Mordred in battle and bested him despite your weaknesses. You inspired me to do better for my people and for myself.

Right now I am taking up some training from Arcadios just like you suggested. I wanted to hand back your blade Bellum to you, but thank you for letting me keep it. It's easy to for me to handle and its enchantments ensure I can use light magic with ease.

Personally I would like see the many reports Darton receives from the Magic Council lately. Mordred said that the Magic Council was barely doing their jobs and country has been falling apart slowly due to their slow efforts. Official guilds that break the laws don't disband after their master gets arrested is troubling. Many guilds feel like they have been wronged and don't disband often turning to violence to earn money.

Since you told me you were the one that infiltrated the ruins around the capital undetected. I would like to request something from you. Can you infiltrate Era and see if something is amiss within the council? It seems like a big request, but something isn't adding up correctly. If the number of dark guilds is growing why aren't they stopping them?"

Maybe I worry too much about, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Now putting the matter aside, I would like to invite you to the Christmas party and New Year's party that is coming up in a few months in advance. I don't want to ruin any of your plans for upcoming holidays. I hope to hear a response from you soon about my proposals and party invitations.

From your new friend

Hisui E. Fiore"

"An interesting proposal, she wants you to spy on the council." Konoe sounded amused. She stood behind Link thinking about the idea.

"I thought I was grounded?" Link asked Konoe.

"You are, but what she said earlier does make sense. The Magic Council has not been doing their jobs properly. I do want some payback for how they treated me ever since the destruction of the Magical Bureau of Development." Konoe explained to him.

Link noticed his paper in her hand. "By the way did I do an okay job in writing my power?" Link asked her.

Konoe nodded. "You did a great job with it so far, though I will still need to read the rest of the paper. I need you to run a big errand for me in town." Konoe explained to him.

"Don't tell me we are running out of snacks." Link muttered as she bopped him on the head.

"Of course we are, but we are also running out of food in the house. We only buy a month's worth of food for two people so do waste food, but I expect more visitors and clients coming over to the house soon. I pulled out some money from the vault to help pay for it. I also wrote out a list to tell you what to buy as well." Konoe told him. She placed the money and list on the table before him.

Link looked at the list and inspected it. He grabbed the money as well putting it inside his pouch. He requipped his normal leather boots out for his slippers. "I will be back before you know it." Link reassured her.

Konoe grabbed his shoulder before he ran off. "Before you go out the door go grab your sword and shield I placed in the lobby area. Be sure to where the armor I designed as well just in case." Konoe warned him.

"Okay, but do I need to be that careful now?" Link asked her.

"Link, you obviously gained fame by bringing down Mordred in one on one combat. You might find someone in trouble or the fact some mages will try to force you into their guild. Jose Porla was dead set on trying to recruit you for his guild. I turned down the offer for you seeing he wanted only your fame and skill to increase his guilds reputation." Konoe explained to him.

Link nodded. "Well I wouldn't want to join any guild that doesn't respect me or follow my morals." Link told her.

*BOOM*

The two sets of eyes widened up as they heard the front of the house shake. Konoe threw the stack of papers onto the desk as she requiped into her normal battle attire.

"That explosion came from the front of the house!" Konoe shouted. The two ran across quickly to here laughing coming from a kid.

"That was easy to bypass the houses defenses! Now I can all have to do is find Link and fight him!" Natsu shouted happily.

"Flame Brain, there is a reason why we ring a doorbell! We don't go blowing holes in people's house!" Gray shouted at him.

"I thought your plan was sneak Link out of the house." Levy complained.

"Master is going to receive an earful from Konoe Onee-san soon." Erza muttered.

They group of children turned to see Konoe and Link standing there. They saw the damage Natsu caused with the door and staircase leading up to the next floor.

"What the hell are you doing?" Konoe shouted at them.

"It's all Natsu's fault!" Levy, Cana, Erza, and Gray explained. They all pointed the finger at him as Natsu looked at them in disbelieve.

"I thought you guys agreed on helping me sneak Link out his house!" Natsu shouted at them.

The sound of knuckles popped behind Natsu. The group stepped back in fear as Natsu turned to see Konoe was behind them.

She had an annoyed smile on her face. "It seems I have to teach you kids some manners since Makarov don't do it." Konoe threatened.

A crackle of electricity was heard as deafening boom went off covering the kids' screams.

Link sighed and shook his head. "It seems I am clean up duty again. Let me go get my ocarina to fix the front of the house." Link muttered. He walked off to grab his ocarina that he left in the study room.

Makarov walked up the stairs hearing the screams of his children. "It seems Konoe is disciplining my children…" Makarov muttered.

He finally made it to the top of the stairs. He saw his children lying in heap together burned by lightning. She turned to Makarov and shook her head.

"Your children need more discipline." Konoe told them.

Link managed to restore the front of the house. He carried a med-kit filled along with some potions. "You want me to patch them up?" Link asked her.

Konoe nodded. "Go ahead, but be sure to give them only what's required. I will be chatting up with Makarov, while you do that." Konoe ordered.

She walked over to the elderly man as Link was giving them medical aid. "I see you two are doing well, I hope you aren't punishing Link too badly." Makarov asked her.

"When Link leaves the house I make sure to activate my archive magic so I can keep track of him. So far I am only allowing him out the house for errands, training, and studying." Konoe explained.

"Well if you are not so busy, I want to talk to you and Link in private about something?" Makarov explained.

The sentence made Link's head turn towards expressing interest. A hint of amusement appeared in Konoe's eyes. "Is this a job offer?" Konoe asked him.

"It's not the only thing I want to talk about." Makarov told them.

Link turned his head in confusion as he thought about it for a moment. "Is Makarov-san trying to…?" Link thought.

Konoe cut Link's thoughts off. "Are you trying to recruit us Makarov-san?" Konoe asked him.

Makarov smiled. "Well you are correct, but I also wanted to talk you about creating magical items for the upcoming Harvest Festival." Makarov admitted.
