Short chapter before I start doing my assignments, I know that I won't be able to update until like, a few weeks. This weekend that is coming up I need to start doing my 2D Design project (T^T) so I won't be able to write in a while for this story. So enjoy.

Chapter 7

"Twins" Rin and Jakotsu whispered in delight.

They both just stud there, hands intertwined, just looking at that screen and listening to the tiny heartbeats. The look in both of their faces was of awe, tears slowly forming in both of their eyes. The Doctor had stepped out to give them a moment a few minutes ago.

"OMG you're having twins!" Jack said happily, jumping slightly on his chair.

"I know! Just look at them jack" she said, her voice cracking at the end.

Right then the doctor stepped back in, thinking he gave then enough time. "Would you guys like to know the sexes?" he asked in a soothing tone.

"Oh.. Yes, of course" Rin said, wiping away the tears that had spilled.

"Alright then, MS Kasha you are going to have one of each" he said looking at her "congratulations you're going to soon have a little boy and girl to take care of".

"OMG!" jack squealed and Rin just cried happily.

Here she was sitting in front of the doctor in his office, he had told them both that he needed to talk to them and suggested to come to his office.

"Alright then Ms., as you know, half-youkai pregnancies are very different than human ones. But I am sure your mate told you this?" The doctor said with a serious tone.

Rin stared at him for a moment, the way he was looking at her made her feel uncomfortable. It was as if he knew that she was hiding something, 'great, just great' she thought. Jack had left the room to take a phone call, she had no idea what kind of information he told this man about her. "To be honest I don't know much, other than what I have read in many books" she said in a monotone voice "unfortunately there is no mate in the picture".

At this he didn't look very surprised, he kept a straight face. "Is that so?" he said in the same tone as her "how come? You do realizer that it is against youkai law to have a woman unprotected if she is carried a youkai child, whether its half or not. And that if the youkai responsible for impregnating the woman is not around, that she should report to the council about it"

"I wasn't aware of this ,since the father didn't inform me about it" she said, trying to keep a straight face, she was aware of youkai laws, of course she was married to one of the council members son, but she aware of what he was talking about. "I know you mean well, but I don't feel like talking about my personal life, to you, someone who I just meet. And if you excuse me, I think it's time for me to go" she got up from her spot and walked to the door.

"Mrs. Takahashi, you do realize that your husband will find you, right?"

She turned to face him, face unreadable "do you work for him?"

The doctor shock his head and chuckled lightly "no, I am a friend of his father. I understand why you left but you do realize what is going to happened, right?" he got up from his spot and approached her "nice touch" he said eyeing the neckless.

"Are you going to tell him?" she asked, looking at him in the eye.

"Not him, but his father yes, I am pretty sure that he would like to know the conditions of his grandchildren" he said "please don't stress yourself to much, it is bad for the children"

With that Rin left the office and meet up with a confused jack. "What's wrong Rin? Is everything alright?" he asked, the look on her face was one of anger mixed with fear.

"That man knows who I am, jack" she said, running her hands through her hair. "Did you gave them my actual address?"

"Heavens no. thank goodness for that" he said dramatically. "Now what, you need a doctor Rin"

"We will figure that out latter, now I just want to get the hell out of here"

I am so evil right now, leaving my dear reader with a cliffhanger. but i am procrastinating do much today, that it's not even funny.
