Chapter 9

After Jack dropped her off, Rin thought though the position that she was in. in one hand the doctor MAY have not said anything to Inutaisho, but in the other he does have to report this to the council, a council in which inutaisho was in. either way he knew by know and it wouldn't be long before they found her. And after that Rin had no idea what was going to happened. Cases like hers rarely happened nowadays, and if it did, not much would be told to the public about it. Another thing is who her mate was, a demon well known that have done no wrong in the past in their eyes and then there was her, some small human woman who was not much known until they meet. They could easily make her the villain for not tending his needs properly, and could label her as an unfit mother…

"Oh no" she said. "They could take my babies away"

The thought of that happening made her start tearing and panicking. Even though she still haven't meet them, she could feel that bound between them. It was instinctual, something she hasn't felt with anyone in a long time.

Except with sesshomaru a small voice in her head reminded her.

That was true, at least in the beginning it was. Even now she still doesn't know the caused for all of this to happened, one day everything was alright, it all changed when he started staying in later than usual, would leave for days without saying anything to her, and then one day she asked about it, this whole mess started…

Rin stared at her phone and sighed. It had been almost two weeks since she last talked to him and 5 days since she has seen him. "This never happens" she thought with worry. In all the time she had been living with him, this never happened to this extent, normally it would be a few days but he will always call her. Rin made her way to her art room and stared at the painting she was finishing. This was requested by her husband himself. He had told her to paint a small portrait of herself for his office and so far she was doing well, she just needed to finish the details. The photo that she used for reference was one from their early relationship dates.

"It feels like this happened so long ago" she said as she stared at the photo. She then dismissed the painting, deciding it was best to do this the next morning, do to how late it was and the lighting of the room. Looking at the clock it read a little after ten. After picking up she decided to start getting ready for bed.

After taking a shower and changing into some PJ's, she when to the lower floor, sat down on the sofa and turn on the TV. It didn't take long for her to fall asleep but was awoken by the sound of the door opening.

"Sesshomaru?" she asked sleepily as she stretched. "What time is it?" looking at the nearest clock it showed that it was 3:45 in the morning. Looking over to him she noticed that he just continued his way to their room, no hello or anything, just simply ignored her.

She swiftly got up and followed him into the room and stud by the door watching him move around the room, when she noticed that he was done she went to him and hugged him from behind.

"I missed you" she said into his back, with a smile on her face "how are you? It must have been a busy week". Only silence responded to her and in a few moments he pried her arms away from him and made his way into his closet.

"Sesshomaru is something wrong? Are you okay? You're not acting like yourself, is it something I did" she said in a worried/hurtful tone. He emerged from the closet and started to make his way to the bed but Rin stopped him.

"Why won't you talk to me? I haven't seen you and almost two week and haven't heard from you in days an-"her questions where interrupted when her throat was grabbed and she was suddenly lifted off of her feet.

"Silence" he growled at her, and tighten his hold on her, Rin started into his eyes with fear as what seemed like minutes passed by, slowly her vision started to darken and she began to claw on his hand in hopes that he would let her go.

She was brutally dropped on to the floor and as she struggled to catch her breath she stared up at him. He stared into her eyes and sighted, picked her up and laid her down on the bed.

"Forgive me, Rin" he told her in a tone she couldn't place "I am just under stress, it won't happen again I promise". She gave him a nod, and so he proceeded to go to sleep.

She laid there awake thinking of what had just happened moments earlier. 'its just stress' she thought to herself 'sesshomaru would never to that to me, he is just under pressure that's all!".

She whimpered when he started to move, he wrapped his arm around her and pressed her against his body. After a few minutes she relaxed and slowly started to fall asleep, before she was completely out she heard him whisper something.

"I'm sorry mate, he didn't mean to, we love you"

"Love you too sessh, I forgive you" she mumble before falling asleep.

"How wrong was I!" she said to herself angrily and she whipped away her tears. It had taken a month before another incident happened and then it started to become more often.

"At least something good is coming out of all of this" she thought as she rubbed her stomach tenderly, in that moment a huge sense of hunger filled her and she gave a light chuckled. She went for the phone and dialed her favorite food joint.

"Hello, yes can a place an order…..

Sesshomaru stared at his mother from across the table, as she was angrily ranting at him. She had called him an hour prior and demanded to see him immediately. He agreed to meet her at his home, but instantly regretted it when the first thing that came out of her mouth was:

"Where is your mate sesshomaru?!"

So yeah….. Here is an update and a PROMISE I will update soon with the rest of sesshomaru part. Also, I am going to start revising all of the chapters but this won't happened for while and when I do it ill update them all at once, may add a new chapter to the story, to clear some things out with the time period.
