The robotic eyes secretly watched the new man walk past them. A new night security guard. It was like hope stepped through the door.
The Freddy Frazbear's head turned to watch him and quickly turned back to its normal state when the human looked behind him. It was almost 12 am and he was the only living being in the deserted Family Diner.
'Maybe he would be like the other.'
Mike Schmidt checked the cameras for the animatronics, making sure they were safe.
He paused at the stage camera where Freddy, Chica, and Bonnie stood; a flashback cane to him and he shook it out. He checked the others and came back to the stage one; he jumped at what he saw.
They were all staring at him.
Mike turned off some of the cameras, for battery saving purposes, and leaned back in his chair. No one told him about that. The guy on the phone knew, but getting stuffed into a suit sounded fictional.
He then turned the stage camera on only for his face to turn white. They were gone.
Hearing a noise, Mike looked up and screamed. One of the animatronics was looking back at him. He slammed his fist onto the button labeled 'door' and watched as the metal door slammed shut.
Mike could hear the monster on the other side. He started breathing heavily from fear; too hard, he missed the 'Please open the door'.
'Well, is he?'
'Is he what?'
'Like the other one? Before we moved here?'
'No, he screamed then closed the door on me.'
'Of course, he's human. It's not like they cooperate on sight.'
'The other one kind of cooperated when we first met him.'
'Yes, but that was because there were no doors.'
'But still, he knew about everything. And now he's...'
"Don't say that, alright? We'll be okay.'
'But what if he'll leave after the first night? We'll be lonely and without hope.'
'Then quit being so negative and listen to me! We'll have to think of something for him to listen to us.'
