Alois has Ciel… the thought ran through Sebastian's head, like an echo it repeated itself, not wanting Sebastian to forget, not wanting him to forget that he had failed at protecting Ciel.
It might seem weird, or some random bullying plot and Alois had chosen Ciel to fixate that plot upon, but there was something between those two. Some past that Ciel refused to talk about. He talked about it once, when he first started dating Sebastian, and why not, it was only fair that Sebastian knew that this had happened.
~~Prior to Ciel and Sebastian meeting up~~
"CIEEEEEEEELLLLLLLL" A voice screamed down the sixth form* corridor. The midnight-blue haired boy looked up to see who it was that was calling him. A smile graced his lips as he saw the blond running towards him. "You were going to leave without me" the blond pouted as he almost barrelled into Ciel.
"Alois" Ciel replied with a slightly melodramatic sigh, "I was just going out to the car, I said I'd wait for you and I keep my promises." Alois smiled a little sheepishly at him.
"How was class, I hope it was boring." Alois said, holding onto Ciel's arm.
"Not too bad, pretty easy to be fair." Ciel replied, it might have made him a cocky shit to some people but Ciel's parents paid for him to have extra tuition to help him achieve his potential. Alois just laughed, not only was the blond dating the hottest guy in the sixth form, but the cleverest too.
"Hey have you thought about what's going to happen after sixth form." Alois asked, he sort of knew but just wanted to double check. Ciel just seemed to laugh,
"If I tell you once I'll have to tell you a thousand times. I'm going to university." He replied, "It's all sorted."
"But which university?" Alois asked.
"That's none of your concern." Ciel said looking at Alois. Ciel didn't want Alois to know, not yet. Alois was a bit of a blabber mouth so he didn't want him to go and tell the rest of the sixth form.
"Ciel. Do you love me?" Alois asked.
"What, of course I do, what kind of stupid question is this."
"If you loved me, you would tell me." The blond replied. Ciel sighed and pushed Alois up against the lockers in the corridor, pressing his lips to his. Alois gasped as his back hit the lockers, but that gasp soon turned into a soft moan as Ciel kissed him.
"Tell me this," Ciel whispered, "if I didn't love you, then why would I openly kiss you like this."
Alois's eyes widened slightly, as he chose to kiss Ciel back, wrapping his arms around the boy's body pulling him closer. As their kiss got more passionate, other students stopped to watch them, after all it wasn't a secret that those two were in a relationship. No secret at all.
"Phantomhive" A voice called, an authoritative voice, causing Ciel to snap out of the kiss and pull away from Alois.
"You're still coming around mine later?" Alois asked to clarify.
"Wouldn't dream of not going." Ciel replied with a dreamy smile that sent Alois weak at the knees.
"Phantomhive" the voice called again, it was one of the teachers, and she was getting impatient. Ciel left Alois there, walking over to the teacher, "yes, Miss Diaz"
"Whilst we all know you two are in love can we leave the public display of affection until you get outside the school."
"Yes Miss," Ciel replied with a smile, giving her a playful salute.
"Do you have the admissions essay you had to write?" She asked Ciel. Miss Diaz was Ciel's sixth form tutor, and the one helping him with his university application. Ciel nodded pulling the essay out of his school bag, well I say essay, the whole thing was about 20 pages long. Something that Alois, who was eavesdropping on their conversation, would never be able to manage alone.
"Double, no triple checked." Ciel replied, "Corrections made where you pointed out issues." Miss Diaz nodded in response.
"How are your parents taking it?" she added, she knew Ciel was close to his parents.
"Really supportive, helped me on occasion with that, but mostly they're excited that I'm going."
"And Alois…" She continued, "What are you going to tell him."
Ciel sighed. "I don't know, it's hard, but this is something I want and that's all that matters right."
"He knows you're going to university." She clarified, Ciel nodded.
"Just not which one, and I don't want him to know." He clarified. Miss Diaz nodded in response.
"Tell him in your own time, and remember no one can force you to do what you don't want to do." Ciel nodded pulling his sleeved over his wrists. He may have seemed outgoing to everyone else, but Ciel could be quite timid at times, especially around Alois, they were on all accounts a perfect match for each other, at the time. But Ciel needed to break off the relationship in the gentlest way possible. Though he didn't want to see Alois's reaction.
Miss Diaz smiled softly at Ciel before turning and walking away. Ciel stood there for a few moments sighing to himself.
Alois on the other hand certainly wasn't happy with what he had heard, so he's going to break up with me… he thought to himself, or was it Miss Diaz saying that I'm not good enough for him. The blond thought to himself as he quietly walked down the corridor and outside to wait for Ciel.
Ciel came out about five minutes later, he was on the phone to his father, "So where are you meeting me? … by the shops near the school... okay I'll be there in five" Ciel shut the phone off.
"Hey" Alois said, going and wrapping his arms around. "What did the teacher want?" Ciel thought for a moment, but Alois was impatient and kissed his neck to get him to hurry.
"She said I was to stop kissing you on the school premises" Ciel replied, well it wasn't a lie.
"Alright…" Alois said, "So you ready to walk home?"
"I can't" Ciel said quietly, "but I promised I'll come over later and I will." Alois sighed, breaking promises again I see, Ciel could see the look in Alois's eyes and knew what he was thinking. "I didn't promise to walk home with you, I said I might, anyway my dad's picking me up. He wants to take me out for a meal before I go to yours."
"But can't I come too." Alois pleaded. Ciel just shook his head,
"This is between me and him" he replied softly before placing a kiss on Alois's cheek then walking off to meet his father. Little did Ciel know what was going to be in store for him when he was to go around his house…
The meal went by like a lightning bolt and soon Vincent was saying goodbye to his son for a while, the Phantomhives were a close knit family, Ciel being there only son, and at that time, as Ciel knew, wealthy people, he just never knew why he was rich.
Though for Ciel, he just took every day as it came, and he had never been happier, he had a boyfriend, and his family were supportive of his sexuality, but to be fair they didn't like Alois, oh don't get me wrong, he was a nice person when he was around them, but when he was on his own the true Alois, the Alois that Ciel had come to hate came out, though he didn't realise this until he turned up to Alois's that night.
The door was unlocked, as was customary with Alois when he was at home, he liked Ciel to be able to just walk into the house anytime he wanted, unlike at Ciel's where Alois would have to get permission a week in advance, just so they were aware, after all unknowingly to Ciel, the Earl and Lady Phantomhive wanted to keep their appearances up.
Ciel walked into the house, though it was different it had a colder air to it than he was used to, he couldn't explain it but it felt uncomfortable, though he didn't turn back. No he wasn't one to break promises. "Alois?" Ciel called, wondering where the blond was. But the house was eerily silent. "Alois!" Ciel called again, hoping the blond would answer but he got no response. Ciel let out a sigh and was going to turn around and walk home when he heard Alois call him from upstairs, telling him to come to him, but to lock the front door first. Ciel had no idea what Alois was doing, and part of him didn't want to know, but he was about to find out…
Ciel locked the door before walking up the stairs to Alois's room. Ciel had never set foot upstairs in Alois's house. To be honest he didn't like the feel he got from the place, Alois house shared, and Ciel didn't get on with the people he lived with, not that they were usually around when Ciel visited.
Today was like usual in resect that none of Alois's house mates were around but still the uneasy feeling grew as he walked up the stairs. "Alois" Ciel called, not sure which room was his.
"I'm here." The blond replied standing at door to his room, a smile spread across his face.
"Hey." Ciel said softly, "Look I really need to talk to you about something"
"That can wait until later I have a surprise for you." Alois replied showing him into his room. Now Ciel had to admit he was slightly curious as to what Alois had in store despite the uneasy feeling he had inside him. He walked into the room, though no sooner than having done that, he was met with a sharp blow to the back of his neck, which sent him collapsing to the ground and slipping into a light unconscious. Alois never had enough strength to knock Ciel out for a long period of time, or do much damage for that matter. When the odds weren't in his favour. But for now Ciel was right where he wanted him. After all no one broke up with Alois and lived happily ever after, not when Alois was head over heels infatuated with the other.
Sometime later, Ciel started to stir from his unconsciousness, though it wasn't a comfortable feeling, Alois had placed Ciel onto his bed and stripped him of his shirt and jacket before binding his limbs to the headboard of the bed.
Ciel tried to move, wanting to get up and out of the house, he hadn't expected Alois to attack him. Unfortunately due to him being bound he was unable to. The boy started struggling, wanting to get out of whatever was restraining him, his eyes starting to water as he caused the rope to dig into his wrists as he struggled.
In the end he gave up. "ALOIS!" He screamed. "ALOIS TRANCY LET ME GO RIGHT NOW!" though the only response was a spine chilling chuckle that came from Alois as he stood in the door way.
"So you're awake." He said with a grin.
"Let me go!" Ciel said a slight growl in his voice, "is this any way to treat your boyfriend?" he asked raising an eyebrow slightly.
"Oh so I'm your boyfriend now." Alois replied walking over to the bed, "I thought you were going to break up with me?"
"Wha-"Ciel said before anger grew inside of him, "You eavesdropped. That's low even for you."
"So you admit it, you're going to break up with me." Alois said climbing onto the bed and on to Ciel so he was straddling him.
"Look, you don't understand…" Ciel began, "I don't think this relationship is going to go anywhere, I need to think about what I want."
"You mean so I don't hold the fucking high achiever back," Alois replied with a growl, punching Ciel in the stomach. The boy coughed and spluttered slightly, and when Ciel didn't answer the question quickly enough, Alois punched him again, and again until he answered him.
"Alois…" Ciel called between each punch that the blond landed in him, Alois's strength seemed to have come on in leaps and bounds whilst he was in this pissed off state, as he certainly wouldn't have caused as much damage to Ciel if he wasn't, "Alois… look I love you but, I can't love you."
"Parents?" Alois questioned leaning in and nibbling on Ciel's ear. "Making excuses are we?"
"I'm not saying excuses." Ciel replied moving his head away, only to be slapped by Alois, "like I said this relationship is going nowhere, and I need to think about my future."
The future that sent Alois deeper into his rage, "we can have a future. Look tell me what university you're going to. I'll work hard, get into that one too, we can be together."
Ciel rolled his eyes, "Do you honestly think that I want to stay with you after tonight." Alois growled and punched him in the jaw.
"No one, and I repeat no one breaks up with me and leave with a happily ever after." The blond hissed before punching Ciel so he was married with bruises, and the odd gash here and there. Ciel whimpered and cried out, but it was no use, no one could hear him over Alois's loud music.
After a while of that Alois left the room for a moment or two, but he didn't let Ciel go, oh no, he had a more sadistic thing planned for his boyfriend- well now ex-boyfriend.
Ciel lay there, crying a little, he honestly thought that Alois didn't have it in him to hurt him, he silently wished that someone would come and let him go. Unfortunately to his dismay, that was a wish to far, of course no one was going to help him, because no one even knew he was in trouble.
After what seemed like an eternity to Ciel, Alois came back into the room with some things, he climbed back on the bed and straddled Ciel once again. "To think I loved you." Alois sneered, "You were just using me, treating me like a charity case."
"No… why would I do tha-" Ciel was cut short as Alois shoved a gag into his mouth, it caused Ciel to squirm about, though that only met him with a slap and another bleeding gash on his cheek.
"Now behave for a spell won't you." Alois said with a grin as he grabbed another piece of cloth and used that to blindfold Ciel. However this caused Ciel to go into a slightly panicky state, he didn't like where this was going. He didn't want this to continue. And any please he made for the blond to stop just came out as muffles.
Alois then ran his hands down Ciel's pale chest, digging his nails in and scratching him as he did so, all the way down to his waist. It caused Ciel to whimper in pain, and his back to arch in an attempt to get Alois to lessen the pressure on him. But Alois didn't stop there, as he ran his hand along the waistband of Ciel's trousers, undoing them before pulling them off. After doing that Alois reached his hand into Ciel's boxers and began to fondle with his member. It was a strange sensation for Ciel, who was after all still innocent in that respect, he strained against the bonds that bound his wrists, and kicked about slightly, trying to get Alois to stop. But still the blond paid him no mind, going and removing his boxers and then roughly binding his feet to the bottom of the bed so he couldn't struggle.
After that, Alois proceeded to rape Ciel, he didn't care how much Ciel tried to protest, he just continued to have his way with him, teaching him that no one, no one messed with him.
Eventually Alois climbed off of Ciel and left him there in the room, still bound to the bed, going and taking a nice long stroll in the cool air, maybe it'd calm him down. Maybe someone would come and let Ciel go, well Ciel hoped, but like before he didn't hold much on that hope, no one was coming to get him, and he'd have to wait until Alois came back.
The front door opened again, and footsteps could be heard coming up the stairs. "Alois…" the male voice called. It made Ciel sigh with relief, at least it wasn't Alois, and it certainly didn't sound like one of Alois's housemates, so who was it.
The guy continued to walk up the stairs, gasping in shock as he came upon Alois's room, seeing Ciel in the state he was. He immediately set about going and unbinding him and removing the blindfold and gag. Slowly as Ciel's vision cleared he was able to make out who it was who had come to his aid.
"Redmond?" he asked quietly, earning a nod from the other.
"Did my half-brother do this to you?" Redmond asked, Ciel only nodded in response, reaching to grab his clothes from where they had been thrown, despite how much it hurt him. Redmond sighed as he handed Ciel his clothes and mobile. Ciel thanked him quietly before slipping the clothes on without a word and fumbling slightly as he dialled a number.
"Dad….." he said quietly down the phone, trying to hide his shaky voice, "can you pick me up from the pup near where Alois lives." Naturally Vincent agreed and set off to pick up his son. Ciel stood up and started to walk out of Alois's house, turning quickly and thanking Redmond once again before disappearing out into the street, he wanted to get away from Alois's as soon as possible.
As Ciel walked towards the pub he heard a car pull up beside him, then the familiar voice of his father calling out to him, oh how he was relieved to hear that.
He quietly got into the car, hugging himself and trembling slightly at the thought of what Alois had done, though he tried not to cry.
"Ciel?" Vincent asked concerned by his son's battered appearance, brushing his thumb along one of the gashes on his cheek, "What happened?"
"I broke up with him" Ciel said quietly.
"And this is what he did to you." Vincent replied, he was absolutely disgusted at what the bastard had done to his son, to his baby boy. And Vincent didn't know half of what happened. Ciel nodded in response, hugging himself more, as Vincent pulled him into a hug in the car. "Did he do anything else" honestly concerned by the way that Ciel was hugging himself.
Ciel only nodded in response. "What did he do?" Vincent asked, a sinking feeling inside him.
Ciel looked up at his father, teary eyed, "he raped me…" Vincent gasped, pulling Ciel into an even tighter hug. "He bound me to the bed, started hitting, and punching me, then he gagged and blindfolded me and raped me." Ciel sobbed out, his form trembling more. Vincent didn't know what to say. Trying his hardest to sooth his son, even though he had a feeling nothing much would help.
After a while he broke away and sat Ciel back in the front passenger seat. "Let's get you home and call the police."
"No! Don't call the police." Ciel said, "He'll only come after me again." He whimpered out. "Just get him expelled from school, then I'll be fine."
"Okay." Vincent said with a sigh, he thought it was a bad idea not calling the police but then again he didn't want to lose his sons trust. So he just drove him home and made Ciel have a nice long hot bath, as he went and told Rachel what had happened.
~~back to the present time~~
Sebastian quietly trundled out to his car, life having just collapsed around him, he didn't know who to turn to, his boyfriend had been kidnapped… just what was he supposed to do now. He fished around in his pocket and pulled out a small box, opening it and looking at the contents. It contained a ring, a beautiful silver ring with a sapphire embedded into it, it was an engagement ring, Sebastian was going to propose, some good that was now.
He sighed before calling the one person he could trust, his father.
Somewhere in London, at a funeral parlour, a phone rang, and Undertaker, having to detach himself from a plate of his amazing bone shaped cookies, to answer it, went and picked up the receiver. "Hello." He said.
"Father." Sebastian said on the other end of the line, "he's been kidnapped." Naturally he knew that Undertaker knew he was on about Ciel.
