Chapter 8

On the other end of the phone Undertaker let out a small sigh, "kidnapped… I bet I know who did it too."

Sebastian seemed to growl down the phone to his father "don't take this lightly! I was going to propose to him!" Undertaker didn't seem phased by this though.

"Watch your tongue." He warned gently. "I know you're worried. Have you called the police?" The phone went silent on the other end. "Well have you, son?" Undertaker asked.

"Yes." Sebastian replied, knowing how much Ciel hated the police getting involved. "I'm going back to the flat now, they're going to come around as soon as possible."

"Okay," Undertaker replied, "I've not got any work to do at present, I'll come up to see you."

"Okay," Sebastian said as he ended the call rather abruptly, before buckling his seatbelt and driving home, mentally berating himself for letting Ciel get kidnapped all of the journey back.

Out on the countryside roads, the car Alois and co. were in was speeding along, heading straight towards a forest. The road was bumpy and it jolted and rattled the car.

In the boot of the car their 'hostage' was stirring.

Dark…

As Ciel slowly started to come around from the sedative he realised that he couldn't see. Why would it be dark, hospitals aren't dark. Ciel still thought he was at the hospital, no, this isn't a hospital, he thought as he tried to move.

Bound…

Slowly it continued to dawn on him that he was bound, hands tied tightly behind his back and his legs bound at his ankles and knees. What the fuck is going on? He thought as he shifted ever so slightly.

Small…

As Ciel shifted, he formed a mental image of the space that he was in, it wasn't much bigger than himself, he was somewhat curled up too, no this space wasn't anything he was familiar with.

Silence...

Ciel lay there in silence, trying to listen out for anything that would tell him where he was. As he did that he could hear the turning of the wheels. I'm in a car… the boot of a car. He mentally let out an irritated sigh. Sebastian's going to kill me! I got kidnapped! Again!

Ciel kicked and thrashed about slightly, trying to let the bastards in the car realise that he was awake and aware of what was going on, and even if Alois had heard him, he didn't care, no Alois had his prize, and he was going to do exactly what he wanted to, to Ciel, and Ciel would be defenceless to stop him.

As Ciel continued to trash, his shoulder brushed against something in the boot, it caused a clanking sound, a sound that brought back memories for Ciel, memories from just a year prior.

One Year Earlier

It was a cold day, and Ciel was sat in the library at the university campus, trying to do some work from a textbook he had borrowed out. He let out an irritated sigh, why couldn't he just understand the topic, why did it have to be too damn hard!

"Don't give up." A voice said as its owner set down a cup of tea in front of Ciel. Ciel looked up at the guy stood there.

"Hey" he said softly, stretching slightly as he sat upright. "I thought you were going back to see your father?"

"I was, but I decided that since the weekends just around the corner, I'd go then, it makes more sense, plus I won't be leaving you behind." He said with a smile.

"Sebastian," Ciel said, "you haven't seen him in a while, go and see him."

"But I don't want to, I don't want to leave you here." The other said pouting ever so slightly.

"And whys that?" Ciel questioned, pulling the other into a kiss.

"Because you're my boyfriend and I don't know what I'd do if anything ever happened to you." Ciel resisted the temptation to go awwwwwww at what Sebastian had just said,

"But I'll be fine, I'm just going to stay in my flat anyway." Ciel replied, "And you know me, I don't like going out anywhere unless it's to go to the shops."

"But what about Alois?" Sebastian questioned with a raised eyebrow. "Hasn't he been giving you grief lately?"

"Yes, but I don't want to talk about him." Ciel replied looking away briefly, Alois still hasn't got the message that were over, I don't even know how he got into this university. Sebastian seemed to know what Ciel was thinking about,

"I heard his parents got him into the university, by bribing the course directors." Ciel looked back at Sebastian.

"Figures." he said with a small sigh, "that boy can't do anything for himself." Sebastian seemed to let out a laugh at that,

"And you dated him." He teased.

"Yeah well I was a fool for doing so." Ciel replied with a small laugh, sticking his tongue out at Sebastian, "Anyway, Alois lives in a completely different accommodation block than we do, and he doesn't even know where we live, so he's not going to do anything to hurt me."

"Sure?" Sebastian asked, he was going to make Ciel promise, but then that was a stupid thing to do, why make promises to not get hurt, because even if you accidently get hurt you'd be breaking that promise, and when Alois was involved Sebastian knew that it was all but impossible for that promise to be kept.

"Yes." Ciel replied with a smile, "Now, if you're that concerned, you can let me get a few more books out, then walk me back to the flat, just to make sure that I'm in there safe and sound." There was slight mockery in Ciel's voice, not that it concerned Sebastian, and he just took it in his stride.

"Maybe I need to punish you when I get back." A mischievous smirk on the others face.

"Oh I'm sure you will." Ciel replied with a chuckle, as Sebastian took his hand to go and take out the books he wished to borrow and then to walk him back to the flats.

"You really sure you'll be alright?" Sebastian asked on numerous occasions on their short walk back to the university accommodation.

"Positive, its one weekend, you need to see your father."

"But…" Sebastian tried to protest.

"But what?" Ciel asked, Sebastian looked at him, maybe feeling a little guilty, Ciel couldn't just go and call on his parents like Sebastian could his father, after all they were missing.

"But I feel guilty, I feel bad for just being able to see my father, something that you can't do at the moment."

"At the moment." Ciel replied softly, reaching up and gently caressing his cheek, "they're not dead, missing but not dead, I can feel that they're still alive." Sebastian nodded quietly, holding the door to the flat open as Ciel walked in. "Sebastian, don't be so glum, go visit your father, the weekend will be over before you know it."

"Fine…" Sebastian said with a reluctant sigh, all his efforts to try to stay on campus wasted.

"Now, go see your father, or I might have to punish you instead." Ciel teased with a smirk. Sebastian nodded with a chuckle before pulling Ciel into a passionate kiss.

"I'll see you Monday night okay." He said, "But if I find out that Alois has laid a finger on you…" Ciel cut him off.

"You won't do anything." He said, "because what justice would that bring? You'd just be lowing yourself to his standards, that's what he wants."

"If you say so" Sebastian replied, not exactly the happiest person to be hearing that Ciel wouldn't let him do anything to hurt Alois in return for hurting him, but then again, Ciel wasn't that kind of person, he preferred not to get violent. Maybe that was why Alois found him an easy target, because there wasn't a bad bone in Ciel's body.

Ciel smiled at him before walking into his room, Sebastian doing the same, well just so he could pack some things to go visit his father with. Though all the while Sebastian was doing this he had a sinking feeling in his gut, somehow he just knew that when he left something was going to happen to Ciel.

Once Sebastian was packed and ready to go he popped to see Ciel again, Ciel loved the attention, no doubt about it, but he did find Sebastian's overprotectiveness a little annoying to be fair, it was alright in small doses but sometimes it just annoyed him.

After about an hour or two, Ciel managed to finally get Sebastian to go see his father, leaving Ciel to get on with his studies. And to be fair he needed to catch up on a few things, previous attacks on Ciel had meant that he wasn't able to study or do work so he was using this time to catch up with the work. And Sebastian called him every afternoon at the same time over the extended weekend, after all he wanted to make sure that Ciel was okay.

It was the Sunday afternoon, and everything was going well for Ciel, he had managed to finish everything he had to, and was lay on his bed reading manga. Every now and then Ciel would glance at the clock, checking the time, knowing that Sebastian would call him at 3:30 exactly. It was 2:59 the last Ciel checked, well he only checked the clock because he heard someone knocking on his door. "Who is it?" Ciel called, wondering who could be wanting him at this time of day.

"It's me," a voice spoke.

"Who's me?" Ciel replied, he hated it when people did that, it was so rude.

"Can't you tell?" the voice had a very familiar tone to it, almost cocky. Ciel sighed and went to the door, opening it just a little so that he could see who it was, though no sooner than he had done that, the person on the other side of the door barged their way in, sending Ciel startling back into the room a few feet. The person who had barged in, well people, Alois and Ash.

Ash went and locked the door behind them, whilst Alois approached Ciel, causing the boy to back into his room more, but he had nowhere to run, he was backing into a corner, Alois had him right where he wanted him. "Aww come now, not scared of me are ya?" Alois teased, Ciel would have shook his head, but that would have been a lie, everyone who knew Ciel and Alois knew that Ciel was scared of him, he had been ever since he had broken up with the blond. Ciel didn't even know how Alois had managed to get into the university, it was supposed to be for only the brightest student, but then again they did offer scholarship programs for those who wouldn't be able to attend university usually.

Alois continued backing Ciel into a corner of the room, and without warning grabbed Ciel's wrists and pulled him towards him, "I thought we could rekindle our love." Ciel yanked a hand free and slapped Alois,

"I told you whilst we were in sixth form, it's over." Ciel snapped, "Why don't you get that in that thick skull of yours."

Alois gasped at being slapped, he growled and proceeded to push Ciel to the floor, swiping his feet out from under him in the process. "Michaelis doesn't care for you, it's just a charade, and he's only nice to you because you're a charity case." Alois certainly knew how to strike a nerve with Ciel.

Ciel grunted slightly as he landed on his back, his head just catching the side of his bed, causing him to become dizzy and slightly disorientated.

"Y'know" Alois chuckled, straddling Ciel, "I do prefer you like this, all weak and defenceless. Reminds me of the time back in sixth form." Ciel immediately started struggling against Alois when he was straddled, not liking the feeling of where this was going, it brought back flashbacks of their time in sixth form, the time which everything changed between them. Ciel never used to know why Alois taunted him, bullied him, made his life hell, but then he thought back to that time, when he broke up with him, that same day he had kissed Alois and told him everything was perfect. And then when he turned up at Alois's his mind was set on breaking up with him, Ciel couldn't have come to that decision in the space of a few hours. He'd been thinking about it for a while, so that had meant that he was leading him on, teasing him, being disloyal to him. So Ciel had deserved what Alois had done to him, okay maybe being raped was a little too far on Alois's behalf, but all the injuries he sustained, both physical and psychological, Ciel deserved them… or so he thought.

Naturally Alois pinned Ciel down, to try and stop him from struggling, Ciel went to cry out for help, only to have Ash come and shove a rag in his mouth to shut the brat up. That though just made Ciel struggle more, trying to force the gag out his mouth. Alois let out an irritated sigh, "why don't you just make it easier on yourself and let us do what we want." Naturally Ciel, who wanted to spit out some snarky comment or another couldn't reply, he just kept struggling.

"Ash, call Lau and Cole here, and tell them to bring plan B" Alois said, and Ash did as told, messaging for those two to come to Ciel's room.

Plan B? What was plan b…? Ciel didn't like the sound of that, he didn't like it one bit.

"They're coming" Ash said, "but it's fair to say, they both want a piece of the prize."

Alois pretended to muse on that for a moment, "well I don't see why not, it'll be punishment for the trouble he's causing now." He said as he punched Ciel in the stomach since the boy continued to struggle against him.

"I'm surprised his flat mates haven't heard what we're doing…" Ash also commented. Alois looked up at him for a brief moment before going and beating Ciel black and blue, to get him to stop struggling, despite the pain it caused Ciel it did stop him struggling as much.

"His flat mates are out." Alois said, "There's a big event happening on the campus for their course and since Ciel here is on a different course there was no reason for him to leave, which means he is home alone." Ash nodded in response,

"I see why you chose today of all days to do this." Alois smirked. A few minutes after that Cole and Lau turned up,

"Got what ya wanted." Cole said holding up a set of chains.

"Good." Alois replied, going and licking Ciel's cheek, which caused the boy to shudder. "Pass them to Ash, and Ash, bind the brats limbs above his head with the chains." Ash reluctantly did as Alois said. Ciel struggled something chronic trying to get Ash to let his arms go, and trying to get Alois off of him, it wasn't fair, why? That's all Ciel could wonder, why?

Once Alois knew that Ash had bound Ciel's arms tight enough he proceeded to rape him viciously, gagging him when Ciel started screaming for him to stop, but naturally Alois didn't listen, he just continued to viciously rape and assault Ciel, leaving him black and blue and scarred. After about an hour or so and Ciel having passed out Alois finally finished but that wasn't the end of the story, Ash, Lau and Cole each took a turn at raping Ciel's unconscious body, the fact that he didn't struggle made it all the more fun for them, once they had all had a piece of the prize they just left Ciel on the floor, going and leaving the room and not looking back. Alois had an arrogant smirk on his face, he was winning this war that he was waging, he was prying on Ciel's kind nature, and Alois knew that Ciel could never fight him back, his morals prevented it.

An unknown length of time passed, well unknown to Ciel at least, and Ciel started to finally come to, he ached and the pain that hit him automatically brought tears to his eyes, he didn't know why he hurt so much, he had no idea what Cole, Ash and Lau had done to him whilst he was passed out.

A soft kiss on the forehead greeted Ciel when he opened his eyes, the familiar face, although it was a bit of a blur from his tears was sat next to him. "Sebastian?" Ciel asked weakly, trying to sit up, but Sebastian's hands found their way to his shoulders, gently pushing Ciel back on the bed.

"No rest," Sebastian said, "you need it after what you've been through."

"How long?" Ciel asked, Sebastian cocked his head,

"How long what?"

"How long have you been here?" Ciel asked, he didn't know what the time was.

"I've been here 6 hours, its 1 in the morning." Sebastian said softly.

"Really?" Ciel asked, "Last I remember it was 4 in the afternoon."

"9 hours, that's a long time to be out of it." A voice said.

"Who's that?" Ciel asked, after all he was still fairly disorientated.

"It's Claude," Sebastian said. "You know our personal tutor."

"I remember," Ciel said, "I hit my head," he added quietly, "when I was pushed to the floor."

"Do you remember your attackers?" Claude asked.

"No," Ciel said, lying, he most certainly knew who his attackers were, but he was not going to tell Claude who they were.

"Alright then," Claude said with a sigh, "stay off university tomorrow and Tuesday, get yourself better, Michaelis can stay off too."

"Okay," Ciel replied not wanting to argue with a teacher. And with that Claude left.

Once Claude was most definitely gone Ciel started crying, Sebastian frowned, getting him a glass of water before laying on the bed next to him and hugging him gently, "Shh," Sebastian soothed, "it's alright, you're safe." Sebastian knew that Ciel wouldn't believe him, so he continued to lay next to him, holding his hand and whispering soothing things in his ears. It took the best part of three hours for Ciel to completely calm, okay so even then he was still sniffling.

"How did you know?" Ciel asked, "How did you know something was up?"

"You didn't answer your phone when I called you at half 3, so I waited for a bit and tried calling you several times, you still didn't answer, I asked Liz to pop over and see if you were okay but she got no response, that was at 4:30, after that I drove here as fast as I safely could." Sebastian said by way of explanation.

"Ah," Ciel merely responded.

"You should sleep," Sebastian said, "Its 4 in the morning now." But Ciel stubbornly shook his head. "I'm not going anywhere," Sebastian added, "I won't move from this spot." Ciel reluctantly agreed, but Sebastian was going to stay by him so that made the situation better in some sense. "And later today when you wake up we'll clean your injuries up, okay." Ciel nodded a little as he fell asleep, Sebastian holding him close.

Sebastian was holding me close.

It hurt Ciel knowing the strain that all his problems put on Sebastian, he didn't like being this burden, maybe Alois will kill him, then that will make the situation better, Alois wouldn't be able to hurt him then.

But how would that leave Sebastian.

Of course there was always that issue with the thought of Alois killing Ciel, Sebastian loved Ciel too much, and Alois knew that, Alois was jealous that Ciel was dating Sebastian, and in his messed up mind he had come to the conclusion of 'if he could cause enough trouble for Ciel to make him nothing but a burden then Sebastian would dump him because he doesn't want to be weighed down by Ciel's issues.' But no, unfortunately that didn't happen, so now Alois was just going to take Ciel, no matter what.

Back at Sebastian and Ciel's flat the door knocked, sluggishly Sebastian forced himself out of the chair, going and opening it.

"Hey, son." Undertaker said softly as Sebastian opened the door, and Sebastian wasted no time desperately hugging his father. He really couldn't handle what was happening. He just wanted Ciel back in his arms where he knew that he was safe.

Undertaker held his son close, stroking his hair as he sobbed uncontrollably on him.

Undertaker vowed to help make Alois pay for what he had done.
