Chapter 9

Undertaker continued to try and sooth his exceedingly upset son. "What did the police say?" he asked Sebastian quietly.

"They said that they'd send someone around and that I needed to wait for Alois to make contact with a ransom or something of the like," Sebastian mumbled out from where he had buried his head in his father's clothes.

"But what if it's not you that he contacts?" Undertaker asked, "what if it's Ciel's parents?" Sebastian meekly looked up at his father,

"They're missing still," he said, "I don't see why he would contact them."

Undertaker sighed, "what if I said I knew where they were."

"You know where they are?" Sebastian asked, parroting his father slightly.

"I had a chat with your ex, it seems that someone blabbed to him where Rachel and Vincent were being kept." He said, Sebastian scowled at him,

"You listened to Grell," he growled, "he's part of the reason why Ciel ended up in Alois's grasp anyway.

"But Alois told him where they were being held," Undertaker said,

"And..." Sebastian began, "where are they?" he asked.

"Grell said they were being held in a town called Banbury," Undertaker said, pulling out a map and pointing to where it was.

"So, they can be rescued right?" Sebastian questioned,

"Hopefully, Banbury is a big place so it would take a while to search, but I'm sure since I informed them that Alois was the one behind it, they're looking into the background of the others that are acquainted with Mr Trancy, and they should find Rachel and Vincent soon." Sebastian merely nodded,

"and they can find Ciel too," he added, naturally still worried half to death about his lover, but knowing that Ciel's parents were close to being found was a good thing too.

"Have you slept?" Undertaker asked his son, concerned for his health, both mental and physical.

"No, and I'm not going to until I get Ciel back," Sebastian said quickly in response.

Undertaker sighed, he didn't really want to have to use baby methods on his 19-year-old son. "Take yourself to bed now and sleep, you'll feel more refreshed when you wake, you'll be more useful then too, you can look at the situation with a fresh set of eyes." Sebastian looked at his father dejectedly.

"If you say so," he replied, feeling a little downhearted at the fact his father was saying that he wasn't much help in the investigation, but he took himself off to bed,

"Son?" Undertaker called quickly, turning to his son, "The search for Ciel and his parents will be national news, I hope you understand that." Sebastian merely nodded and went to bed. Undertaker sighed quietly and sat down with a cup of tea.

Back out on the country roads, the car that had Ciel in came to an abrupt stop. It sent Ciel sliding toward the back of the boot, his body making contact with something or another in there, not that he could see what it was.

The engine fell silent, that must mean that Alois had reached wherever he was going to take Ciel. Muffled voices could be heard outside the boot, but they were hushed so Ciel couldn't make out the conversation that the group were having.

After a while of the hushed conversation the trunk of the car opened up, for the first time in several hours Ciel could feel the fresh air on his face, it felt good. Though that sensation did not last long, as hands grabbed him from the trunk and pulled him out.

Ciel didn't know what was going to happen, and he didn't like it. Were they going to leave him? Were they going to kill him and let the wild animals feast on his corpse? Ciel didn't have a bright outlook for what was going to happen, especially where Alois was concerned.

It seemed like forever but after a while, Ciel was placed onto the damp grass, despite being bound tightly he was placed in an upright position, and there was more muffled talking before the car engine started up again. Were they going to leave him? Just leave him to die? Ciel somewhat certainly hoped so. At least that way he could attempt to get out of the restraints himself and try to make it back home.

After what seemed like another eternity the blindfold was slowly taken off Ciel, the bright light that was the sun, causing him to squint and close his eyes just as quick as they had been granted this sight. It was natural though, Ciel had been in that trunk for hours, how many though, he didn't know, he had been deprived of food, water and sunlight, so the sudden influx of sun was a little too much for him.

"Aww," A voice teased mockingly, Ciel didn't need to look up to see who's voice that was, he knew it almost instantly, it was Alois's, the voice of the boy that he had once loved, but now it was cold, heartless and almost deadly. Had Ciel caused all of that? Or had it been Alois's own doing? "Is the little lord sensitive to light?"

Ciel didn't respond, he didn't want to start a fight here, not when there was the possibility of them dumping him and leaving.

"What? No retort?" Alois asking with a hollow laugh. "Come on now, I know you want to."

Ciel lifted his head, fixing his gaze upon Alois. "You know," Alois giggled a little, "you're cute when you're angry." He said, ruffling Ciel's hair, causing Ciel to jerk his head away from Alois to stop him from doing that. No one did that to him, well no one other than Sebastian, or his parents that is.

Alois pouted slightly as Ciel did that, before proceeding to slap him across the face, hard. "Let me remind you, Ciel." He said crouching to Ciel's level as Ciel let out a small whimper. "You are in no position to go against what I say. If you want to see your parents and friends again you will do exactly what I say when I say it. If not, then I'm afraid it's bye-bye little lord."

Ciel was used to Alois using death threats and such against him, he was used to threats from him no matter what, they never used to amount to anything, a threat to kill him would usually just end up with Alois sending his lackeys to rough him up a little. But this felt different, all the other times Alois never had Ciel hostage, Ciel could always go back to Sebastian if anything bad happened, but now Ciel was his hostage, and that scared him.

Ciel knew that Alois could do some pretty evil things, but was he saving his most evil of ideas for Ciel, the one who he had tormented over the last few years.

"Will you do as I say?" Alois asked, angry that he wasn't getting a response from Ciel, it was clear that Ciel was in no position to go against what he was saying, Ciel was just being stubborn, and why not, it wasn't like Alois expected Ciel to just agree to do what he said. This was just part of the plan to manipulate Ciel.

After getting barely a response from Ciel, Alois stood up, stretching slightly, "you know, I really didn't want to resort to this so early in the grand scheme of things, but it seems I have no choice." He pulled Ciel up by his hair before tossing him over his shoulder, ignoring the futile attempts that Ciel made to try and escape. At least Ciel could see where he was going, or well he hoped at lease. Would Alois be so cruel as to deprive him of his vision again? Or was he going to be at least a little bit kind and let Ciel see. Giving Alois's track record with attacks then he was most likely not to keep Ciel blindfolded, that way he could make Ciel watch what he was doing to him. It was all part of the psychological aspect of the attack.

As Ciel was carried, he continued to squirm and attempt to get Alois to let him go, but despite this he was held firm, and all Ciel could really focus on was the back of Alois's clothes. He remembered that top, it was the one Alois used to wear to all the dates he and Ciel went on, all those special occasions that often ended up with Ciel being left alone as Alois had to leave early for one reason or another. Ciel gave up trying to remember them all, there were so many he used.

"Stop fidgeting." Alois hissed, dropping Ciel to the floor with a muffled thud. "Just fucking cooperate." He added, sharply kicking Ciel in the ribs. "I thought you would have learnt that by now."

Ciel growled slightly, well the best he could, squirming more, causing Alois to drop him abruptly on the floor. "I thought I told you to fucking cooperate." Alois hissed, sharply kicking Ciel in the ribs, a cruel smirk coming across his features as he heard a rib or two crack. Not good.

Ciel teared, that was just cruel on Alois's behalf, and he didn't expect him to resort to this type of violence. He tried not to cry. Alois stood staring at Ciel for a moment, before removing the gag from Ciel.

This time, Ciel didn't hold back on the tears or sobs, he curled up a little on the floor, becoming a sobbing mess, his breathing was slightly laboured too, but it wasn't life threatening. Yet at least. No one knew with Alois, he could just make the injury worse to be spiteful.

Alois continued to stare coldly at Ciel. "So are you going to do as I say, or am I going to have to break you more?" Ciel sniffled a little, before glaring at Alois once more, not that his tears didn't hinder it.

"Just let me go," he pleaded quietly with his captor, "if you let me go, I promise nothing will happen to you, I'll make sure the police don't arrest you, just please, please let me go."

Alois smirked before laughing, a hollow laugh, "your my bargaining chip, I'm not going to let you go that easily." He said, reaching down and pulling Ciel up off the floor by his hair.

"Then what do you want me for?" Ciel whimpered out as he was pulled up. Alois smirked at him,

"What I've always wanted, to control you." He said with a maniacal grin.

Ciel looked away, not wanting to look at Alois. "I don't belong to you, you cannot control me. You won't be able to not, just like when we were younger, you definitely couldn't then."

"My poor, dear, sweet Ciel," Alois said mockingly, "I don't think you are aware of the situation. You belong to me, you have no say in the matter, you can't go running to your toy, that brat Michaelis, and you can't go running to your parents. You have no one to turn to. Just accept that fact and do as I say." He said leaning down to his ear. "If you do as I say, I might even be nice to you." He added, sticking his tongue into Ciel's ear.

Ciel had a flicker of distaste run across his face, not that he could stop what Alois was doing, his hair was being so tightly held that he had barely any room to jerk his head out of the way.

Alois chuckled harshly. Motioning for Cole, who was still present at the scene, Lau and Ash having gone to torch the car, to remove the ropes from Ciel's legs. He did so, somewhat reluctantly. Knowing first hand that Ciel could be a little wild card if he wanted to, it was just the way that he had been brought up that led to him not fighting back at those who tormented him, after all, at the end of the day he was better than them for not resorting to violence, it was just this once that really pushed him over the edge.

*several months earlier*

"What do you want?" Came the quiet, worn out sigh, Ciel leaning against the perimeter wall of his University campus. "Be quick I haven't got all day." He added, knowing that Sebastian was just around the corner waiting for him. Ciel was intending to go on a date.

"I just want to talk." Cole replied, looking at the boy with intent.

"Just to talk?" Ciel parroted, "or are you just working on Alois's orders and come to hurt me."

Cle scoffed, "please. I have no intention of hurting you, yet." He said with a huff, "I was just wondering if you could help me with my coursework."

"And what makes you think that I will help you, after everything you've done to me." Ciel snapped at him a little, not that he had truly intended that to happen, but it was less than a week after the last attack Alois had sent his goons to pursue on Ciel.

"Please. I have no orders to hurt you." Cole replied, "I'm coming to you for help."

"If you want help why don't you ask Alois, I'm sure him or his family could help you better, for a small fee of course?" Ciel retorted. After all he very much knew that Alois never did anything for free.

"Alois doesn't know. Or if he did he wouldn't tell me, unless I paid him." Cole replied, "And before you say I've already tried to use all the work we do for him in hurting you as payment, he wouldn't accept it."

Ciel rolled his eyes. "No, I'm not helping you." He said, "For all I know this could be a ploy just to get the information out of me to feed back to Alois."

"Pleaaaaaaase?" Cole asked with a pout, whining slightly, "I'll get kicked out if I fail this," he said with a sigh, naturally his parents wouldn't be happy if he got kicked off the course. Ciel was slowly growing annoyed.

"What part of 'no' do you not understand?" Ciel asked with a sigh.

"Ciel, please," Cole said, pushing him up against the wall, his hand snaking lower. "I could give you so much more than Michaelis, please just help me, and I'm all yours." He added with a smirk.

Regardless to say, Ciel was disgusted. He pushed Cole off of him and swung his fist towards him, feeling a smirk grace his lips as he felt his fist make contact with Coles face. "Does that answer your question?" he spat at him, turning to leave.

"I'll make you pay," Cole shouted at him, having staggered back slightly, his hand on his cheek where he had been hit.

Ciel snorted slightly, "make me pay?" he parroted, "I'm pretty sure that makes us even." He added, before walking off to Sebastian.

*Back to present time*

As soon as Ciel was untied from his bonds he immediately brought he knee to Alois's groin, causing the blond to fall to the ground with a gasp of pain. "You fucking bastard." He shouted at him, "just what gives you the fucking right to treat me like this." The hostage shouted, finally his anger at the situation surfacing. Sure he might have felt that he deserved this, for leading Alois along for a spell whilst they were in sixth-form, but Alois had hurt him numerous times more, Ciel had known that Alois was cheating on him, Sebastian's then boyfriend at the time had told Ciel that Alois had cheated on him.

Alois, radiating pure anger at Ciel, composed himself, glared at the dark haired boy, standing up and towering over Ciel. "What gives me the right to do this?" Alois parroted, spitting on Ciel, knowing that other than his legs being free, there was no other way of Ciel lashing out at him. "I have you, that's all that matters, my motivation is of no concern to you, all you need to do is behave and do as you are told, and I'll try to keep the punishment to a minimum."

Ciel let out a slight whimper, "I don't belong to anyone, least of all you." He spat at the other, earning a stinging slap to the cheek, his head jerking to the side to avoid it, even though he still got slapped.

"I'm afraid you don't have a choice in the matter." Alois said with a chuckle, "if you remember correctly my little lord, I can be very persuasive, I will break you, and I will have you dancing in the palm of my hand in no time." Well Alois hoped so at least, with the newer Ciel that he had been seeing over the last few years, as a result of all the attacks he had set upon Ciel, he was a little concerned as to how long it would take to break him, to have him completely at his whim, but he was certain of one thing. That he would have Ciel mounded to his ways.

Ciel had the decency to roll his eyes, "Go on, try it." He goaded slightly, he hoped that he would be able to hold out, hoping that he could withstand whatever Alois wanted to do with him, Ciel was scared, he would never tell Alois that, but yes, Ciel was scared. He was scared that he was never going to be able to get away from Alois's grasp, that he was never going to be able to see Sebastian again. He was scared that if Alois wasn't satisfied with whatever he was going to do to him, that he would simply kill him and wash his hands of the matter, just killing him like he was some piece of trash that he had picked up and now no longer wants.

Ciel was scared. Very scared.

Alois crouched down in front of Ciel, almost so he was sat on his legs, "oh, I'm sure you don't want me to." He hummed, leaning into his ear. "But I can if you want." He added with a dark chuckle. A flash of fear ran through Ciel's eyes as he shifted his head away from the blond.

"Cole" Alois laughed slightly, "Do me a favour, go and get Lau and Ash, and make sure the lair is ready for when I bring precious Ciel here, he just needs a little bit more persuasion."

"Wouldn't it be wise to just take him there now?" Cole questioned a little, "I mean, you would have more means at your disposal there." He added with a small cock of the head.

"True." Alois replied, pushing Ciel back so he was lay on the ground, putting pressure on his chest, despite how much Ciel struggled against him, "but I want a little bit of time with my ex here, before I bring him to the house of fun." Cole could only nod at what Alois had said, he didn't have much authority against Alois, not in the hierarchy of their gang. After looking at Alois and Ciel for a few more moments, he turned and made his way to the next clearing, where he expected to find the other two.

"Keep still!" Alois snapped at Ciel, slapping him once more, bringing tears to the boy's eye. "Remember, do as I say, and you won't get hurt, keep causing me or the others trouble, and both they and I will punish you more."

Ciel let a growl leave his lips, he spat at Alois once more. Sod his newly found social status as a Lord, the situation called for such behaviour.

Alois shook his head and sighed in mock disappointment, going and punching Ciel in the gut, "you don't listen." He said with a small smirk, "you just want me to hurt you." He added, landing another punch into Ciel, causing Ciel to cough and splutter. "I was going to wait to do this, I have so many more toys back at the lair, so many more thing to break you with." He continued hitting Ciel, "but, I guess I'm going to have to teach you a small lesson right now." He hit Ciel more and more.

"You could hurt me all you want, I won't become what you want me to." Ciel managed to retort.

Alois grabbed Ciel's hair, jerking his head, "I've always loved your futile attempts to remain strong, but I know how weak you are." he sneered into Ciel's ear, before he decided to viciously rape Ciel, the weaker Ciel was at this point in time, the better chance Alois had at inflicting more psychological damage upon him, the more likely Ciel was likely to give up.

Ciel didn't let a single pained sound leave his lips, Alois was hurting him, yes, but he didn't want to let Alois know that, he refused to show that pain.

Annoyed at the lack of reaction, Alois doubled his efforts wanting to elicit some reaction from Ciel, whether Ciel wanted to or not.

Alois needed Ciel to give up, would Ciel give up?
