"Luceee!~ I'm hungryyy" Natsu, complained while his stomach growled loudly. The celestial mage sighed, "Natsu, we are almost there," she turned around to look at him, but to her embarrassment he was drooling, looking over a huge glass window of a restaurant. Happy flew towards the dragon slayer, just to end up drooling to.
"Can you both keep it together?!" she smacked their heads "But Lucy, it looks so good in there! Please lets eat!" Natsu pouted childishly, Lucy cursed his cute face "Alright, but limit what you eat, okay? That creep might have been worth a lot of jewels, but we need to save up for traveling matters, you got that?" both Natsu and Happy straighten and salute her "AYE SIR"
And so the three friends walked inside the restaurant, it had a bar which was crowded already, plenty of males already drinking away, 'I am sure Cana would have a blast here' thought Lucy smiling. They found an empty table and sat down, a server came up "Hello! I'm Avil I would be taking your order!" the girl smiled wide, Lucy couldn't help to notice that she was mostly looking at Natsu. Avil had short brown hair, big bright green eyes, now her figure wasn't as great as Lucy's... *Lucy smirked to herself at that* but she wasn't all flat either, and she was getting too close to Natsu, making a certain blonde tense and glare.
Now Natsu wasn't that dense not to notice a certain tension, he coughed and smiled, "I would like the hottest chicken you have, Happy would like some fish raw would be fine-"
"Aye sir!" Happy chirped
"- Now Luce?" Natsu turned his attention to his partner, his handsome smile bright as his canines shinned in the light, Lucy blushed but shook it off "Uh, a salad with some chicken would be fine... Oh! And some whiskey? My partner must have forgotten to mention that," she smiled at the server who frowned at the word partner, Lucy turned to Natsu and smiled in victory.
"Right.." Avil said and walked away swaying her hips almost on Natsu's face!, Lucy's eyebrow twitched 'This bitch.' she frowned and glared. Natsu though, never took his eyes off Lucy, he noticed all the changes in her expressions which he found amusing. Once again, unconsciously his hand held hers which made her jump out of her inner thoughts, "Are you okay, Luce?" he frowned. Lucy blinked twice, smiling she intertwined her fingers with his, this send an unknown fire through Natsu's veins, he gulped.
"I'm okay, maybe I'm just as hungry as you guys" she giggled, she let go of his hand and patted Happy. Natsu frowned at this, he liked the feel of her hands in his, it just felt perfect, like two puzzle pieces fitting one another. "Aye! But that girl's name was pretty funny, it sounded like some type of medicine or something" Happy commented, (A/N: You know? Avil and Advil? HAHAHA... No? Ok...) both Lucy and Natsu stared at the blue feline, and soon the three of them started laughing.
Wiping tears from her eyes, Lucy smiled "I really missed this..." she sighed contentedly. Both Natsu and Happy stared at her smiling, "I missed our adventures, dangers, the crazy, and funny things! I was never meant to be locked inside a room, huh?" she smiled wide, Natsu blushed. Her face right there, to him it was angelic, pure, and happy. He wanted two things in this world at the moment, to restore Fairy Tail and bring back his family, his nakama together, but most importantly he wanted that expression on Lucy's face to remain there, forever. But then again dreams don't last that long huh...
Ruining his moment, a guy who was probably just as tall as him, black messy hair, and the lightest shade of blue he has ever seen. Said guy, was carrying their food on a tray, carefully setting each plate on the table. He smirked as he set the whiskey on Lucy's side, slightly brushing his fingers against her skin. Natsu's senses, went high-wire! His jaw tighten, his fist clenched tightly making his knuckles white, and his nails dig deeply on his palms.
"The whiskey it's on me, anything for a beautiful woman such as yourself," he smiled at Lucy, all she could do was sweat-drop 'Honestly! This place it's full of flirts!' she cleared her throat, "Ah, yes thank you but it won't be necessary, you see-"
"Hey, you" A certain dragon slayer interrupted, his voice restricted as if trying to prevent a growl from slipping of his clenched teeth. The guy glanced annoyed at Natsu, and so even if it was for a few seconds, they had the deepest glaring battle.
"I would keep your distance if I were you~" Happy stated while munching on his raw fish, the dark haired guy looked at the cat incredulously. "Natsu tends to be very overprotective of Lucy, Specially since guys tend to always throw themselves out of nowhere, which I don't understand, Lucy isn't all that" Happy shrugged, Lucy took in a dark aura, both Natsu and the guy gulped.
"WHY YOU DAMN CAT!" she launched at Happy, stretching his cheeks, "Natsu~ Help me!~"
"Next time, you need to watch what you say buddy" Natsu chuckled, while patting the now defeated cat on the head. Suddenly the dark haired man laughed, Making the three of them to stare at him as if he was crazy "Not only pretty but strong?! You hardly find those around these days!" he flung his arm around Lucy's tiny frame sitting next to her, Lucy of course shrieked pushing him away, "Oi! You're in my personal space!"
Everything happened in slow motion in Lucy's eyes. One moment a guy was hugging her with all his might, and the next said guy was on the floor rolling on fire. Natsu stood up, his eyes shadowed by his bangs. "What the fuck do you think you're doing. Touching my mate, it's death penalty bastard." Natsu's voice hissed dangerously, Lucy shook she has never seen him this pissed, but wait a minute, 'Did he just said Mate?'
The sudden Lively restaurant went dead silent, Lucy thought this couldn't be good. After the dark haired guy finally shut off the fire by rolling, he stood up glaring at the dragon slayer, "Who the fuck do you think you are punk?!" he launched at Natsu with his fist glowing, 'So he's a mage, huh' Natsu smirked. Natsu was about to eat the punch, when Lucy tried to get in between them. Natsu's eyes widen, with his fast reflexes, he grabbed Lucy protectively as his body engulfed in flames, Lucy's eyes shut in fear of getting burned but to her surprise Natsu's flames did nothing but warm her up, she felt Natsu suck in a sharp breath 'Oh no, he wouldn't?!', "FIRE DRAGONS ROAR!" he roared at the guy's direction, completely destroying the place. Lucy gaped at the massive hole that was now the roof, 'Of course he would! The idiot!' she scolded mentally.
Happy grabbed the ends of the table cloth, gathering their food and flying away, "What are you idiots standing there for?! Let's run!" And so he flew high in the orange sky with the stolen food. Lucy was about to protest, when she was stopped by Natsu suddenly carrying her in his arms running at fast speed.
"THIS IS WHY I NEVER STOP FOR FOOD WITH YOU TWO MORONS!" She yelled, making Natsu laugh. "Whoops, I think I over did it this time, HAHAHAHA"
And so once again, our favorite team was on the run, 'Geez, so much for adventure!' Lucy huffed, but then a warm smile graced her lips.

"Wendy, look" Charle, held up the newspaper to the Sky dragon slayer's face. Wendy, took said paper and her eyes went wide. 'Fairy Tail it's still alive!' was written in big bold letters, above a picture of the palace that had FAIRY TAIL written with fire. Wendy smiled gently, "This fire can be from only one person we know from Fairy Tail, Ne Charle?"
Charle smile softly, "I guess we will be seeing them soon, just like I predicted"
"Wendy! It's almost time for our presentation! Are you ready?!" a pink haired girl, about the same age as Wendy yelled through the door.
"Hai! We are coming Sheila! Let's go Charle" and so the two partners walked out.
FTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFT "Well I guess running did get us here faster," Lucy stated while she stared at the coming town. Happy rested on her head, tired from flying, Natsu walking or more like dragging his feet. "Luce, I am exhausted! And Hungry!" Natsu whined, Lucy glared at him, making him gulp. "Listen mister! We ate not that long ago, thanks to Happy stealing the food we order from that restaurant, and you wouldn't be this tired if we didn't have to run from the authorities... AGAIN!" Lucy huffed, crossing her arms around her chest, tapping her foot annoyingly.
"Lushhiee you didn't even run! Natsu carried you practically the whole way here!" Happy complained from her head. Lucy blushed, and turned away humphing, "I did ask him to put me down, but he wouldn't listen you stupid cat! Now both of you stop whining we are almost there!" and so she stomped to the town, where Lamia Scale was located, as both Natsu and Happy grunted in defeat, "Aye sir..."

I'm going to cut it short here! Sorry guys! I hope it wasn't a bad chapter.
Once they meet Wendy the interesting things will start to happen. Also, even if I am basing the story on the current events in the manga, I will switch it up. This story will not only have Nalu I promise, because I also ship Gruvia, Gale, Jerza, and many other pairs! So look up for those fluffy moments. Now when i write battles I will take my time, because those are hard to write! Because if it isn't detailed enough, you will only get confused, and I don't want that. And finally as of updates, I sadly work a lot and it's not a constant schedule, SO I will try my best to update on my free days.
