Chapter 3
Rogue was annoyed.
Ever since his blonde roommate discovered that he knew about her, he kept insisting on asking him about the girl's name. During class, lunch break and worst of all, when he was about to sleep.
He turned the knob of the shower to wash away the shampoo on his hair. Taking a bath in the morning was just one of his routines before he head to class. It helps him relax and if the idiot somehow disturb him, who knows what he will do.
All of a sudden he heard someone knock on his bathroom door.
"Oi Rogue, seriously.. What's her name?"
The guy was really asking for it! He was actually talking to him while he takes a bath?!
Rogue ignored him and took his towel to dry himself. After wrapping himself with his towel, he slid the shower curtains to the side only to be face to face to one persistent idiot.
"Yoh." It was the only thing that Sting was able to say before his roommate punched him hard enough to make him fly and bump his head on the wall.
Rogue grunted and walked passed him and left the guy unconscious on the floor. He could care less if the idiot was brain damage. He concluded that he already have a problem with his head.
'How far is will he pursue this?' Rogue took some juice can in their small fridge before heading to his closet. He felt a bit warm even after the bath so drinking some juice might ease him up a bit.
He could tell him her name and end his roommate's consistent annoyance in his life but he wouldn't for the sake of knowing whether he really was serious with her or not. Frankly he feels that the guy really likes the girl since he never saw him act like this. However it was not the only reason why he wouldn't tell him.
The girl was far too precious that he feels the need to protect her even if it means keeping her away from his best friend who he sometimes question why he was in the first place.

Outside of Building
If Rogue would not tell him her name, he would just find out for himself.
After class he secretly followed his roommate who was on his way for his special class. He had a hunch that this would only be the place he could probably meet the girl.
Sting did many attempts to follow him everywhere before deciding that this would be the only place he would see her. He tried following him in the library, café, mall and every single place his "so called" best friend went to except this one.
He waited over an hour in the restaurant right across the street just to see if the girl would walk out the door.
After a few minutes he saw people coming out of the building, he pressed his face on the glass window of the restaurant as he anxiously waits for her to come out.
And there she was.
Standing in front of the entrance was the girl his dreams.
He quickly stood up and places his money on the table before leaving the restaurant. He ran across the street as if he was confident enough that this was the day he will be able to talk to her.
When he was behind her, he gently tapped her shoulder to get her attention.
'This is it!'
As she turned around, her hair slowly brushed from his hand. Not only was it smooth and soft, the scent of her hair was very addicting. He wondered how amazing it would be to caress her hair.
"Uhm.. Yes?" She spoke.
Her big chocolate brown eyes meet with his and slowly melt him inside with her stare.
She was mesmerizing!
Sting could not help but smile. He composed himself before he introduces himself but when he opened his mouth, no voice can be heard.
'Eh?'
He tried speaking again but nothing came out.
'What the hell is going on?!'
"Uh.. Do you need anything from me?" the girl tilts her head in question.
'She's finally talking to me and I can't speak now?!' he was internally panicking. He couldn't figure out why he wasn't able to talk to her until he noticed his hands were shaking.
'I'm nervous?!'
He tried to get himself calm but it failed when he saw through the glass entrance door from behind his dream girl was the image of his roommate coming outside the building.
He quickly ran and hid behind a tree few meters away from them.
"Hey, sorry you had to wait." Rogue said as he placed some papers in his bag.
"No problem." The girl smiled but felt slight discomfort. She took glances to see the guy that was talking or rather not talking to her a while ago and it scared her a little.
Rogue did not fail to notice her uneasiness and move closer to her.
"Is there something wrong?" he was concerned. She was the type to keep things to herself but her expression was always easy to tell so he knew that something was on her mind.
"You know you could tell me.." Rogue gave her an assuring smile.
"W-well.. you see.. There was a guy a while ago here and tried to talk to me but he just stood in front of me and didn't say anything then all of a sudden he ran away."
Rogue was surprised and his smile quickly turned into frown. He felt his protectiveness over her kicked in and took her hand by instinct.
His action caught her by surprise. "Rogue?"
He took a quick scan around and there he saw behind the tree a figure that he couldn't quite picture out because he felt a bit tired.
He waited to see for the walk sign to turn green before running with the girl in the crowd that were crossing the street.
Sting tried his best to hide but when he saw them run, he tried to catch up but lost them.
'Damn it!'

Play Ground
Rogue stopped his pace when he was confident that Sting was not able to follow them.
They both tried to catch their breaths forgetting that they are still holding hands.
"Ha.. Uh.. Ano.. Rogue.." the girl tried to speak but was tired from all the running especially since she had to keep up with Rogue's pace although she felt him assisting her when she almost felt like falling down.
'He seems really warm..'
"Ano.." She again tried to get his attention and finally worked.
"Sorry about that. He might have followed us.." Rogue quickly check his surroundings if anyone looks suspicious.
She must really have stalkers and that's not good. He quietly planned how he would prevent her from getting in to trouble. Maybe he should pick her up and send her home but that would mean he would have to do it every day. Not that he has any problem with it but the girl needs privacy.
He turned to look at her and gave her a serious look.
"I'm going to walk you home ok?" He said, not letting go of her hand.
But his grip is slightly hurting her and made her wince in pain.
He noticed her discomfort and quickly let go of her hands.
"Ah. Gomen.." He said while he blush a bit. The quick action though made him lose balance and almost fell to his side when the girl luckily catches him.
"R-Rogue!"
"Hm.. S-Sorry.. I'm alright." He gave her a weak smile which did not convince her enough so she used her forehead to check his temperature by pressing hers on his forehead.
This made Rogue blush even further which made his temperature slightly higher.
"You aren't alright at all! I'll help you get home. Could you tell me your address?"
He was a bit surprised with himself when he felt happy that she cares about him but the idea of giving his address and meeting Sting in their room is a big NO.
The girl frowned for receiving no reply so she decided on another destination.
"How about my home? It is not far from here." She smiled and grip his hand firmly.
"Eh..? But wouldn't your parents.." He felt reluctant with her offer. What would her parents say when she bring a sick man in their house?
"Haha it is ok. I live alone in an apartment." She took his right arm and placed it on her shoulder to assist him. He was stunned with her action that he wasn't able to react quickly.
"Ah.. uhm." Rogue felt uneasy not knowing if he should let her help him carry his weight but when she gripped harder he looked at her only to see her angelic face.
"Don't worry about this Rogue. We're friends so don't mind at all." She gave him an assuring smile before looking straight ahead and started walking with him.
Rogue smiled and let her do what she wanted. "Arigato.." He said softly.

Heartfilia Apartment
After having a struggle to open the door, the girl entered her home with a man whose are is around her shoulder.
Walking in the living room, Rogue notices that there are no furniture anywhere. All he saw was the curtains that cover the windows.
He thought that maybe he could rest a bit on her couch but seeing that there is none made him question where is she leading him.
When he finally figured it out, it was too late since she opened her bedroom door.
They were almost near the bed when he tried to back away; it caught the girl off guard making them lose balance.
Having Rogue to be heavier than the girl, he fell first before her making him cushion her fall with his body. In just a few seconds, he felt his lips gave a peck on her neck and her breast pressing on him.
That however did not made him flush madly. What got his heart racing was when he heard a soft short moan came out from her mouth.
They were both too surprised to react that in just few seconds, they stared at each other but the girl recovered and sat up immediately.
"G-gomenasai Rogue!" She tried to hide her blush by looking anywhere but him.
"Uh i-its ok. It was just an accident."
She went out of bed and helped him rest his body properly in her bed.
"I'll be back. I'm going to make you some soup ok?" She smiled and went out of the room before Rogue could argue. She was thankful that her kitchen had enough appliances for her to work with.
She closed the door and leaned on it. Her hand traced her neck.
'That was embarrassing..'
Rogue on the other hand has his arm over his eyes. He was too preoccupied to even care that he has a fever.
Everything just happened so fast! For the first time, he held her hand, went to her place, enter her room, felt her body on him, had a quick taste of her skin and the most unbelievable of all, heard her moan which would probably keep him up at night.
If this keeps up, he won't have his temperature down anytime soon.
He sighed and sat up.
Her room looks almost empty. All she had there was her bed, study table and some books. There is a door that seems to lead to her bathroom and another for her closet.
The apartment was too spacious for one person to live in. He then remembered that she mentioned that her parents are not around. It made him wonder where they were until he realize that he was alone with the most precious girl he have ever met.
'Shit..'
His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a knock on the door.
"Rogue, I'm going in. I hope chicken soup is ok with you." She smiled as she walked towards him.
"Yes its fine. Thank you." He smiled back.
She placed the tray on the bed, sat next to him and quickly checked his forehead with her hand.
"Oh no.. I think you really have a fever."
She suddenly became silent which worried Rogue. Was he over staying his welcome? Maybe he made her feel uncomfortable because of what happened.
"I can go home—"
"Why don't you stay for the night?" She said as she took spoon full of the soup.
"Eh?" Rogue was surprised yet again. Things were really going fast.
The blonde girl blows the spoon with the soup before gesturing to him to take it.
This was turning out way too good than he had thought. He would admit to himself that he shamelessly loves how his situation is turning out to be.
He blushed as he accepted her offer and swallowed the soup. It was delicious as he thought it would be. Best part was he was being fed by her.
'Crap.. I'm turning to a creep like Sting.'
"But I think we should call one of your friends to let them know. You mentioned that you were in a dorm before right? I'm guessing you have a roommate. We should tell him. Could I have his number?" She said as she waits for him to hand his phone to her.
"I'll call him." There was no way he would let Sting have her number. The idiot would spam the poor girl's inbox with his stupidity.
But she didn't let him even dial a number, she took his phone from his hand and quickly searched for his phone book app.
"You should rest. I'll talk to him. What is your roommate's name?"
"N-no. Sting is—"
"So his name is Sting?" She didn't completely listen to him and quickly looked for his roommate's number.
Hearing her say another man's name pissed him off a bit for some reason especially since it was that guy.
She pressed call and waited for him to answer.
This is bad. If she talks to Sting, there is no telling what that guy would do to meet her. Rogue tried to get the phone from her but he is feeling slightly dizzy.
Right now all he could focus on was her and how she looks amazing especially since she is so up close. He could intake her scent just from where he was sitting and by all means she smells intoxicating!
If he wasn't so dizzy, he could tell he was starting to feel delusional. Right now all he wants is to hold her closer and drown in her scent.
Finally someone answered but in a very angry tone.
"OI ROGUE! Where the hell are you?!"
The girl was reluctant to answer but tried to for Rogue.
"U-uhm.. Hello? Gome.. This isn't Rogue.."
Sting was surprised to hear a girl's voice. Did Rogue got himself a girlfriend and didn't tell him? That bastard was keeping things from him!
"Ano.."
But that voice sound so familiar.
Now that he think about it. Rogue isn't the type to like having a girl around him except one. The girl of his dreams!
"W-wa-wait a minute! Are you the blonde girl that studies with Rogue in that lecture class?"
"U-uh.. Yes?"
That bastard was with the girl of his dreams! And right now she is talking to him. Finally his best friend went through for him! Maybe that guy wasn't so bad after all.
"You see.. Rogue is sick and I think it is better if he stays here in my apartment. I'll make sure he'll be better enough to go home tomorrow. I just called so you wouldn't worry.."
'He's in her home and he's staying there?'
Scratch being thankful. That bastard is taking way to much precaution for him not to meet her. Is he that serious?!
He completely forgot a small detail about his best friend being sick and started thinking of situation that might lead to something bad.
"A-anyway that is all.. Thank—"
"Wait—" Sting tried to speak up but was cut off but before that he heard something.
Rogue was too delusional from his fever that his actions weren't what he would think about. He took her by surprise and tackled her to the bed making her drop his phone along with the soup on the floor.
"W-wait Rogue—"
"Luc—I .."
That is all Sting heard before the line went down.
Sting slowly drop his phone and processed what just happened.
With what he just heard, all he can conclude was his ultimate nightmare.
"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU ROGUE!"
