Tallstar's Pov

One thing was for certain...females where confusing. One moment their happy and friends then the next at their each other's throats.

We had set off from Crystal Crossing after we rescued Emolga from the Mankeys. We reached the Oran forest to stock up on food.

Speaking of which. Seviper and Deerling were at it again, arguing over berries?

"Those Oran berries are mine! I found them!"
"Well I'm bigger and have more strength!"
"You're just fat!"

That broke out into a physical fight. Seviper used Constrict on Deerling.

"You take that back!"
Deerling broke free using stomp...it looked awkward but it worked. "Never!"

I let loose a sigh. Time to put my leader skills to work. "Girls! Please calm down!" I cried out. "Fighting among ourselves isn't the answer, you can share the berries!"

They shot dirty glares at each other but backed off from each other. "Now we divide these berries after that we'll discuss the important things like; where to set up base." I said.

Emolga nodded. Pacharichu's tail bristled with excitement. "I know a place! It's a little ways from Treasure Town, downstream, there's this patch of land no one uses, it's called the Windy Plains, normally there's strong winds in those plains but if we get sturdy homes it won't bother us!" She happily explained, her cheeks sparked with her trademark blue sparks. "But the land isn't for free though, we need to talk to the land owner, Skarmory."

"Skarmory?"I questioned.

"Yeah Skarmory, he's a flying/steel type pokemon. A big grey armoured bird."Deerling said."I heard he's really nice."

"Alright then it's settled! We'll go ask this Skarmory if we can claim that land as our own." I said. "Any objections?"

"I'm okay with it."Seviper said flexing her body.

"Sounds like a solid plan!"Emolga cheered.

"Anything you say goes!"Deerling exclaimed with a bounce. With that motion, we set off to find Skarmory. I asked around Town for the whereabouts of the Armour Pokemon.

"Skarmory you say?" A Pidgey questioned. "Oh I saw him take off a while ago. He'll be back by tomorrow probably." I thanked the tiny bird pokemon for the information. We met up at town square.

"Pidgey said he'll be back by tomorrow, so we'll hang around town until he returns. We might as well go out and help someone and recruit more members."

"Hey Tallstar. Who's second in charge? Who'll call the shots when you're not around?"Seviper asked, she was rather curious about that. I thought it though. "Well if I must choose. It will be Deerling who shall be deputy-second in command. "I decided.

"Alright team! Let's go find a job." I said taking off. We went to Wigglytuff's guild to get a request.

On our way to the guild we saw a Shaymin, Bagon and Zangoose. The Zangoose had a paper in her claws. "We're going to Amp Plains!" She declared. The Shaymin nodded and the trio went out. Seviper looked away. That was a Zangoose, her kind and their kind had a feud.

"Funny coloured Shaymin."I heard a voice say. It came from a blue biped jackal. "Um who are you?"Seviper asked with a slight hiss.

"Tone down the aggression snake." She growled. Her spiked paws glowed a blue colour. "Ladies please no fighting!" I pleaded.

"Tallstar is right."Deerling said voicing her thoughts. Emolga and Pachirichu found a job. It was an easy looking one. Find a Vile seed in the Amp Plains. The client was Fenniken. The pay was 200 and a yellow gummi.

"You do realize we're gonna run into that other team sooner or later?"Seviper stressed out the words other team. "They have a Zangoose with them..."She bitterly said.

"You guys are explorers?" The Lucario asked, her interests peaked. "Yes. I am Tallstar leader of Team Windclan. This is Deerling, Emolga, Patcarichu and Seviper."I introduced the team to her.

"The names Liu!" She said with a foxish grin. "May I join you guys? I have nothing to do today." She said waving her paw off-handedly."Sure you may join." I said. So the six of us set off to Amp Plains not knowing what rivalry would be born in doing so.
