It's Regina's birthday, but the last thing she wants to do is celebrate. All she wants to do is order some food, eat it, cry and go to sleep like she has done every night so far. Robin's been gone now for 5 months and she still haves major struggles every day. She is fighting, but she feels like she's too tired to fight anymore.

Regina sighs deeply before she pushes herself up from the warm bed running her hands trough her hair. She looks to the other side of the bed, empty.. She closes her eyes and sighs again realizing this isn't just a bad dream, this is real. Robin really is gone.

She lets her self down once again and a sob escapes her mouth, but she hurries to cover it with her hand. She shakes her head and brushes her finger under hear eyes and cheeks and lifts her head up. She couldn't break every morning.

With slow movements she gets out of the bed and shivers when her feet hit the cold floor and she looks around searching her slippers. A small smile comes to her lips when she finds them in her closet and slips them on.

She walks down the stairs still sleepy and goes into the kitchen and puts some coffee on. She sighs and leans on the kitchen counter and closes her eyes thinking of the mornings with him.

"Good morning.." He murmurs to her neck and circles her waist with his strong arms.

She smiles and tilts her head to the side a bit giving him more space on her skin. "It is a good morning indeed.." She says quietly and smiles even more when she feels him closer.

He murmurs something against her neck what she can't quite understand but she don't mind and continues to cook the bacon.

"I love you.." He breathes and she tenses. He loosens his hold on her a bit and slowly she turn in his arms.

"You- You do?" She asked shakily her eyes wide.

He smiles at her and nods cupping her cheek. "I do.. Very much.." He says and she still looks shocked. "What is it?" He asks as she won't seem to reply.

She smiles widely and lets a few tears escape when she blinks and nods, "I love you too.." She whispers and he leans down closing the space between them pressing his lips on hers in a tender kiss.

Her hands slides up his chest and they wrap around his neck while his in lost in her hair. He nibbles her lower lip before she pulls him closer fully covering her mouth with his. After a few moments they both pull back and look at each other smiling as he rests his forehead to hers.

Regina rubs her hand on her neck where she remembers his lips have been and the three words seemed to be said. She sighs and drops her hand and turns around pouring some coffee to her mug. She takes a sip before she puts it down as she hears her phone ring.

She leaves the coffee and walks to her phone. Snow. She sighs and puts the phone to her ear.

"Happy birthday Regina!" She can hear Snow almost yell to the phone.

"Thanks.. I guess." She says blankly and hears Snow sigh.

"Regina-"

"Please don't start.." She says her voice breaking a bit. "I can't.. I'm not ready to talk about it yet."

A moment of silence comes and for one second Regina thinks Show ended the call already.

"I was about to ask if you wanted to come to the Rabbit whole with me, Emma, Ruby and some other girls tonight?"

"I-" She started but Snow knows her well enough to stop her.

"Just come. At least for one drink.."

Regina sighs and thinks what harm would it cost and she agrees.

"Great! See you at eight." The princess says before she ends the call.

Regina puts the phone away and sighs, yeah great.

Later the night Regina is walking toward Rabbit whole feeling actually okay with celebrating.

She steps in and find quickly all the ladies waiting at one table. Snow is the first to come hug her, which surprises her but she gently hugs her back. "I'm glad you came." She said and Regina smiled back at her. "Me too.."

The evening goes buy surprisingly quickly. The others had enjoyed many shots and God knows where they were now , but Regina was with Snow on the counter and she was finishing her just first drink.

"You know he will come back.." Snow said softly but Regina straightened herself and shook her head.

"Snow I already told you, I do not want to talk about it." She said her eyes shining with tears.

"But Regina-"

"I said no already Snow!" She said raising her voice but not that much that people would start to look.

"Excuse me.." Regina said and hoped of the stool and left the place.

Regina walked quickly trough the streets hugging herself as tears dropped from her eyes.

She stopped walking and cried out covering her mouth again and closing her eyes. Suddenly there was a huge wind which made her look up and she wiped her eyes to see better. "Regina?!" That deep voice couldn't be any others than his.. "Robin!"

She saw his figure standing under the streetlight. She ran toward him and he toward her. When the finally reached each other she stopped in front of him and they both breathed heavily holding each other.

"How- Ho- How are you here?" She asked her eyes wide and red from the tears as his was too.

But he only shook his head, cupped her cheeks and kissed her passionately and she immediately melted to his lips. After a few minutes of just passionate kissing she pulled back and looked up at him in total disbelief.

"Robin.. You're really here.." She said gasping as she clutched her hands to his shirt realizing he really was here.

"I am, very much indeed.." He said softly never letting go of her, afraid he'd lose her again.

"But how? The curse on the towline.. You left me.."

"I made a deal with Rumple, that neither of us need to worry about anymore, and I was able to come back."

Regina smiled and cupped his cheeks and kissed him again. Robin slid his hands up her body pulling her closer and she smirked a bit against his lips and pulled back. She flicked her wrist and with one second they disappeared in a purple smoke. The landed inside Regina's house, actually in her bedroom.

He smirked a bit and kissed her again pinning her softly between the wall and himself. She moaned softly as his lips were all over her neck. "I love you.." He whispered over and over again. She smiled and slid her hands to the hem of his shirt and pulled it over his shoulders as he pulled down her zipper.

It didn't take long when they were both naked and on her bed breathing heavily, bodies covered in a small layer of sweat as they both came, moaning each others names for the first time in a very long time.

"Happy birthday by the way.." He breathed to her shoulder when they laid side by side on the bed. She laughed and turned to him kissing him. "Well, it's been the best birthday ever.." She murmured against his lips.

Later that night when it was dark and Robin was sleeping behind her, holding her tightly in her arms, even when he was sleeping. Regina smiled and reached for her phone and texted Snow.

"You were right.."

It took a few moments before her phone light up.

"What do you mean?"

"He came back."
