Okay I haven't updated anything in a very long time and I've probably lost most of my few readers but just for a information here; I will be posting more now once summer really starts so if you like reading my stories I'd suggest you keep checking if i've updated. That's all, hope you like this chapter!
So this chapter is based on one Grey's Anatomy episode, where Derek has returned from DC and they have a touching take with Meredith, so this will be in Regina and Robin version. Hope you like it!
Regina opened the door and stepped inside her house. The house seemed empty, like it always was but in reality she had three boys in her house right now (Once Robin had returned, he and Roland had stayed with her, and Henry was staying at his mom to support her).
She turned her head to the right checking the living room. Empty.
Then she looked forward and saw him in the kitchen.
Robin was doing the dishes, or more like he was just done, but he had the cloth in his hands. "The boys?" Regina asked and turned her back to him and started to take off her coat.
"They're asleep." He replied gently and put the cloth down and took a step to her direction.
"Robin." She started out, not coldly not sadly, just said his name.
"Wait." Was all he said.
She sighed and looked at him, a brow slightly raised. A few moments passed by and he didn't say a word so she opened her arms a bit questioning him. "Robin?"
"Just wait."
She looked at him wondering what was he saying, or going to say. His eyes were soft and his smile gentle.
She could see all the good times in his eyes. When they first met, their first kiss, their first time together when their naked bodies were tangled in one another. When he held her in his arm, when he kissed her, held her. When his wife came back and she lost him. When he chose her but then he had to leave her behind again. She saw it all.
She sighed and sat down to the stairs.
"I am calling the tattoo." He said and pointed down to his tattoo and she looked away a bit. If they ever had problems neither of them referred to the tattoo, as a prof they were soulmates, that they were suppose to end up together and everything with them would work out.
"Roland, Henry, page 23 and protecting each others hearts.." He said and she looked at him for a second before she looked away again.
"I thought I could get used to the life outside of Storybrook, without you. And I was wrong." He said and looked at the floor for a moment before he lifted his gaze on her again his eyes starting to shine with tears.
"You.. You.." He whispered and smiled, though she wasn't looking at him. "You're everything." He whispered and she looked up at him.
"I love you.." He said his eyes shining with tears but his eyes were soft and he smiled sadly but lovingly, "And I'm not gonna stop loving you." He whispered while shaking his head. "Regina I can't live without you.. I don't want to live without you. And I'm gonna do everything in m power to prove it."
She looked him for a second before she looked away a bit and he sighed softly. That's when she looked at him again and she sighed.
"I can live without you.." She said, her voice soft but her eyes wasn't so warm and loving as they were once.
She had lived without him for a few months. She had lost him and fallen, but she had got up. She had pushed trough it, fought against the villains that had appeared in all of their lives again and survived without him. She had started to feel home, with the Charmings, Henry and all the other people in Storybrook had seemed to finally accept her as one of had actually had been happy without him, she had been fine but it still didn't mean it didn't kill her every time she looked at the page he had found or when she crawled alone into her big bed.
He shook his head a bit and his expression saddened a bit. He knew this was it and he sighed deeply looking down at her.
She looked at him and he shifted a bit. "But I don't want to.." She continued and he felt a huge relief inside of him.
"I don't ever want to." She finished and looked up at him her mouth turning up on a small smile and he smiled shaking his head a bit.
She stood up and sighed. She walked a few steps towards him and smiled a bit. Regina shook her head and stepped right infront of him and wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly.
Robin smiled in relief, wrapping his arms around her and hugged her deeply, burying his face into her neck and breathed in her scent.
Just because she could live without him, didn't mean she wanted to. She didn't ever want to live without him again.
