Chapter 8

"Hahaha and then Lili tells me that Hwoarang, he scared the horse so bad that it bucked him off his back and he ended up falling in mud," I tried to hold back laughter while retelling the story of Lili's date to Jin.

"He didn't tell me the part where the horse kicked him off," Jin added on. We were walking down the hallway back to the classroom after dropping off some paperwork at the teacher's lounge. Instead of holding hands, we were holding pinky's. Jin would get so embarrassed holding hands out in public so this was our way of compromising. It was subtle yet still intimate enough to make us both happy.

"He was probably to embarrassed to say anything, you know how he gets. If anything embarrassing could happen on a date, it would happen to him."

"Such loud laughter, Principle Ganryu are you sure your students are actually learning anything?" A man complained from behind us. We turned around to see this tall man towering over us. He had an extreme receding hair line and whatever was left of his hair was grey. The clothing he wore looked expensive, black shirt, grey slacks and a fur coat that hung over his shoulders. He was old but due to his physique it was difficult to place his exact age. "It's been a while since I've last seen you Jin, it would be nice if you came by to see your grandfather every once in a while."

There was tension in Jin's voice as he talked, "What the hell are you doing here?"

He laughed a little at Jin's disposition, "I just came to see how well the school is doing, especially since I invest so much money here, I should stop by to see where all my money is going." A frown grew on his face as he continued talking, "Clearly not into your education since you've dropped down into the regular class levels. Care to explain why?"

"Because I don't feel like doing all that extra work. Besides it doesn't matter what I do as long as I keep my grades up correct, isn't that what we agreed on?"

The old man turned over at me and held out his hand for me to shake, "So this must be the young lady I've heard so much about, what's your name?"

Jin pulled me closer to him to him to keep me from shaking his hand. "It's Ling Xiaoyu..." The man lowered his hand and smirked at Jin's irritation. "My name is Heihachi, I'm Jin's grandfather. I trust you've been taking good care of my grandson." I nodded at his question. Jin's grandfather, even though he was smiling at me seemed kind of off as if there was something to hide from us. "Jin you know your grandfather's birthday is this Saturday, I expect that you'll be there. It's been so long since I've seen my grandson it'll be nice for us to catch up."

Jin crossed his arms clearly irritated by that last statement, "I have plans, I won't be able to make it."

Heihachi came up close he grabbed Jin's wrist and whispered something in his ear while keeping a sincere smile on his face. After that Jin's face changed from irritation to disconcert as he cradled the wrist Heihachi grabbed. Heihachi continued before walking away, "Xiaoyu you'll be expected to come, after all it's not everyday that I can meet Jin's girlfriend." All the tension in the air left along with Heihachi. I looked down at Jin's wrist to see a bruise beginning to form. Such immense power from such subtle movements it's seems inhuman. "Are you okay...?"

Jin rolled his sleeves down to try and cover the bruise on his wrist, "Damn that old man." We stood in silence for a moment before I decided to speak up again, "Are you going to go, he seemed pretty serious."

"I guess I have to, he made it pretty clear that I don't have a choice." Jin put his hands in his pockets and leaned up against the back wall, "That old bastard he'll do anything to get what he wants, I just wish he wouldn't try to involve you..."

"Will it really be that bad, having dinner with your grandfather. He seemed like he just wants to see you." I leaned back against the wall next to him to hear what Jin has to say.

"You don't know him like I do, you don't have to come if you don't want to..."

"Don't you want me to?" Jin refused to look at me while I asked the question. He was clearly flustered by my question and I reached out my pinky to interlock with his again, "If it will make you feel better, I would love to come."

I sat in front of my mirror staring at my hair and make up, I looked completely different from what I was used too. Lili came over earlier to help me get dressed for tonight's date. She applied foundation, blush, and eyeliner. My hair was tied into a low fluffy bun and I wore my nicest orange flower printed qipao. I continued staring into the mirror until Panda came up beside me nudging my leg. "Aww thanks Panda, I appreciate the compliment."

"Ahh Xiaoyu you look so beautiful. You're parents would be so happy to see you right now." My grandpa said at the threshold of my door.

"Thanks grandpa, I'm so nervous." I kept wiping my hands on my dress as they were clamming up.

"There's no reason to be nervous as soon as Jin sees you he'll fall head over heels for you. Well that's if he hasn't already. My my that Mishima boy I wonder how his grandfather is doing?"

"I met him, a couple days ago... he seemed very disciplined."

"That's an interesting word to use. That man has always been very troubled since he was young seems like he hasn't been able to get over himself."

"You know Heihachi grandpa?"

My grandpa looked at me with a puzzled look, "Oh that's right you still don't remember huh?"

"Remember what...?"

"It doesn't matter right now; his father and I were close friends before he died a few years back. After his father died he became obsessed with power, more so than he was before. You should be careful around him Xiaoyu he has a way of getting what he wants from people." *Ring ring* the doorbell sounded, "I think your ride is here."

"Well here I go." I stood up to gave my grandpa a hug goodbye before grabbing my black pumps and going downstairs.

"Ling Xiaoyu, please come with me." I followed the man in the suit to a black car. He opened the door to let me inside, once he was inside he started the car and drove us off. We drove for about an hour deep into the mountain ranges. We pulled up to a gate and the driver ringed the bell to be buzzed in, "I'm here with tonight's guest."

"Yes, I'll let you in." The intercom buzzed the gate open revealing the Mishima estate. Jin calling this a mansion was an under statement, it was a traditional style Japanese mansion that was at least 1000 acres. The driver opened the door letting me out the car and I was quickly greeted by a servant.

"Lady Ling, we've been expecting you. I will take you to master Jin." I followed him through the mansion going through the long halls. There were various expensive paintings and sculptures I was almost to nervous to walk down here out of fear of breaking something. The servant slid open the rice paper door to reveal Jin standing in the garden over looking a pond.

He was extremely handsome; he wore a white button up long sleeve top with black slacks and his hair was gelled back in its usual form. I watched him for a moment as he sipped on a glass of red wine. He was in deep thought, so deep that he didn't even notice me when I came up to him. I slipped my fingers in between his startling him a little, "Ah Xiaoyu. I wasn't expecting you so soon."

Jin interlocked his fingers with mine as he took another sip from his wine. "Have you been waiting long?" I asked him trying to make light conversation.

"Not to long, besides the wait was worth it to see you dressed up."

I chuckled a little, "You clean up pretty good yourself."

Jin looked down at his wrist watch to confirm the time, "Dinner won't be for another hour or so do you want to take a walk with me?"

"Sure, where to?"

Jin set down his wine glass on a nearby table, "Just a walk through the garden. It's beautiful during this time of day."

We walked hand in hand for a moment before I struck up conversation with him, "You know, I never took you for a nature lover."

"What do you mean?"

"Like I always thought you were more of a city boy."

Jin smirked at my comment, "Contrary to what you believe I was born on the country side. When I was living with my mother our house was out in the forest. We used to always walk the forest trails together, playing with the animals."

"It's so hard to imagine. You always wear such nice clothes and you go to such fancy restaurants; it's hard to see you roughen it out in the woods. And who would've thought you were such a momma's boy."

Jin lost his composure a little, "Haha well I wouldn't say momma's boy exactly... my mother was the real deal. I had to get water everyday, we grew our own food, very little electricity. I've never even watched anything on TV until I came to live with my grandfather."

"Do you miss it, living out in the country I mean?"

"It's defiantly nice to not have to get my own food in water now but, every once in a while I wish I could go back. Sometimes the city can be a little over stimulating... oh wow it's still here." Jin pointed at a swing set hanging from a tree. There were two wooden swing seats next to each other, Jin led me to one of them and he sat beside me in the other one. "I used to swing on these things all the time when I was younger. My great grandfather Jinpachi used to take me back here when I first came here."

I started kicking my legs to give myself a little swing, and Jin began chuckling at me. "What's so funny?"

"Nothing, just watching you swing reminds me of this girl that used to come over here all the time when I was younger. She used to swing on this thing with me when we were younger."

I was intrigued by this story that Jin was ready to tell me, "Oh a girl, was she your first love?"

"Haha something like that... I used to hate when she'd come over with her grand father. She was small and bratty and couldn't speak any Japanese. I remember always thinking how can you live here and not know any words in Japanese? She used to follow me around all the time trying to play with but I just thought she was annoying."

As Jin continued with the story, a slight headache began to grow in the back of my head.

"Then I remember one weekend she didn't come over and I asked her grandfather why and he told me it's because she was sick. I was relieved at first but then I began to feel lonely, more lonely than I ever felt. When she came next time she was so happy to see me because she wanted to show off the new Japanese that learned. Ha, I couldn't believe it, I was so mean to this girl and the only thing she wants to do when she sees me is try to impress me. After that I began warming up to her, I was excited to see her every weekend and couldn't wait for her to come over."

"Well what happened to her?"

"We went out exploring the property together deep into the forest and she fell down a ravine and hit her head against some rocks which knocked her out. She tried to keep me from falling down the same ravine and ended up slipping. I was so worried, she was bleeding terribly; I had to hurry and carry her back to the estate. The last I heard of her she was recovering in the hospital. After that I never saw her again... until now..." Jin reached over and pushed one of my loose bangs out of my face. "That girl was you."

"I- I don't remember any of this though." A nervous laugh came out as I explained myself to Jin. The back of my head began hurting even more as I tried to recall these past details, "I mean I remember waking up in the hospital but before that, nothing..."

"I figured you wouldn't, you fell pretty hard that day. It's funny because even though I haven't seen you in years I recognized you as soon as I saw you that night. Remember when you tried to save me from being hurt."

"It seems I spend a lot of time saving you from danger. I must be like your guardian angel or something."

Jin smirked at my comment, "You must be, you're always saving me from something. You've done so much for me then, and now. You have always been my light at the end of my darkest tunnels, thank you for always being there for me." Jin pulled on my string to my swing to bring me closer to him. He placed a tender kiss on my lips then pulled away just enough to where our foreheads were still touching. I was anxious and felt hungry for more attention from him.

I kissed him back, touched by how much value Jin placed in my existence. I could feel every emotion in our kiss as it deepened, there was no fighting for dominance between us, no pressure to out do the other, just a tender moment where our tongues massaged each others.

Jin was the first to pull away as he looked down at his wrist watch for the time. "We should get going before we're late." I whipped the pink lip gloss off of Jin's bottom lip and nodded in confirmation of leaving.

Dinner was awkward at best, I sat across from Jin while Heihachi and Lee sat at the head and foot of the table. We had a three course meal of shark-fin soup, salad, and roasted duck. We ate in silence, the only thing you could hear is the clanging of our utensils against the plates.

"I hope the meal is to your liking," Lee began trying to strike up conversation. I looked over at Jin to gauge his reaction before I spoke but he kept looking down while eating his food. "It's great, I'm not used to such good food."

"So tell me about yourself, I'm sure you have high ambitions after high school," Heihachi asked through taking sips of his wine.

"I ah-I don't know, I haven't really thought about it before. I guess probably go to university, although I don't know what I would study..."

"Now now that's very common when young people have very little structure in their lives, they don't know which direction they should go in." Heihachi looked over at Jin, "Without direction they could fall behind and get caught up in foolish behavior."

"Perhaps," Jin interrupted finally breaking his silence. "Perhaps too much direction can stifle one's personal growth."

Heihachi scoffed, "Personal growth, character, those are the things that comes from direction and the lessons I've taught you. Becoming disciplined through martial arts is the best way of personal growth." Heihachi looked over at me and looked me up and down for a minute, "I've heard you practice martial arts as well, do you compete?"

I was taken back by the fact that he knew about my martial arts background, and shook my head no, "I don't really like competing."

"That's to bad, you should enter the next king of iron fist tournament. Jin will be entering it would've been nice to have you two compete together. I maybe could've even made it as a partner tournament or something."

I looked over at Jin surprised at the information, he never mentioned anything about the tournament let alone competing in it, "No he never told me anything about it..."

"I don't know if you've seen him fight but Jin is very promising." Heihachi took note of the nervous expression on my face, "It's nothing serious though, just a simple test of my grandson's abilities." Heihachi took the final sips of his wine, "This tournament should be the most interesting yet.

Once everyone finished the servants came to take up the plates. Heihachi relaxed back into his chair while looking at me, "Why don't you two stay the night. It's late there's no need to rush back home." Heihachi smiled at me again as I took another sip of water.

"I guess it doesn't hurt.." I looked over at Jin who was still irritated by the previous conversation. Heihachi called over one of the servants asking them to make separate rooms for Jin and I for the night. "Follow me miss."

The room I was required to stay in was huge, with a queen sized bed in the middle. There was a giant TV across from the bed complete with a loveseat set so someone could relax in their room. There was also a huge bathroom complete with a separate shower and bathtub.

I sat on the bed rubbing the Egyptian cotton sheets while pulling out my cellphone to try and call home. The phone rang for a minute with no answer so I just left a voice mail on the machine. "Looks like grandpa's already asleep... the only think I can do is take a shower then."

As I took a shower I thought about the conversation from dinner. I still can't believe Jin didn't say anything about the tournament. Never even mentioned once to me. I can't help feeling like there's more to the situation than either of them are saying. There's something about Heihachi, every time he speaks it seems like he twists his words. Something about him doesn't sit right with me.

As I finished putting on my night gown, there was a light knock at the door, "Coming!" I opened it slightly to see Jin standing there, he was still in his street clothes holding his third glass of red wine. "Do you mind if we hang out for a while longer?"

"Of course come in..." Jin walked in and sat down on the loveseat at the foot of the queen sized bed in the room. He placed his glass down on the coffee table and relaxed back into the seat. I sat beside him and watched him for a moment while he closed his eyes thinking to himself. "What's on your mind?"

"Nothing, I just wanted to see you before you went to sleep."

"So you're going to to enter the tournament huh...?"

Jin kept his eyes closed knowing that I was going to give him the third degree for not telling me. "We made a deal that if I won the tournament, then I would be free to do what I want. It's not that big of a deal."

"Yea but you could've at least told me. Besides the tournament is still dangerous, people die or end up missing during every one of them."

Jin sat back up and leaned his arms over his knees, "I'll be fine I promise. Even if I don't win I'll still be fine."

"Even if you end up having to move back in with your grandfather?"

"... I don't want to but if I have to so be it. It's such a bad life being in charge of a huge company, having all that money, I'd be able to build you that theme park. I could take care of you put you through university."

I reached to touch Jin's hands, "Whatever decision you make, you should do them for yourself not for me... no matter what happens I plan on being there every step of the way." I gave Jin several light kisses on the cheek as I squeezed his hand. He chuckled a little appreciative of the affection. Jin turned his face slightly so that our lips would meet each other. We kissed for a moment then deepened the kiss. He grabbed my left arm to pull me in closer while holding the small of my back.

Jin was very passionate, a side that I've never seen before. He trailed light kisses down my neck causing my body to arch into his chest. As he continued kissing my neck, he slowly laid me back on the couch to where he was laying between my thighs towering over me. My face felt hot to the touch and my body responded in unknown ways. His right hand came up sliding underneath my night gown lifting the fabric up with it revealing my white panties. I wanted to force my dress back down but Jin kept my hands pinned above my head with his left hand.

"Your skin, it's so smooth," he whispered while tracing my stomach with his hand. He placed light kisses on my stomach tracing the outlines of my muscles. As he continued his left hand released their grasp and lifted my night gown up just above my chest to reveal my bare breasts.

My breathing was heavy and as embarrassed as I was to be lying here I didn't want him to stop. As his mouth found my left nipple his hand moved up to my right lightly pinching it and kneading my breasts. Jin pulled back from me to unbutton his shirt, his muscles were big, bigger than the average man's chest. All the training he's put himself through has defiantly paid off.

I sat up in order to lift my nightgown up over my head and help Jin take off his shirt. He stood up to undo his slacks and dispose of his boxers. Staring at Jin naked was almost intimidating; comparing the size of his body to mine I felt small and weak. Once Jin was finished undressing he came back over to the couch to lay me back down. His hand slipped down between my panties, slipping his fingers inside my opening. My back arched forward and Jin took that as a sign to slid down my panties taking them completely off.

As he entered me my body tensed from the large size of Jin's manhood. I could the tension between us as Jin closed his eyes waiting for my body to relax. Jin leaned down to give me a light kiss allowing my body to relax more allowing Jin the ability to thrust. Our rhythm was slow and awkward at first as we tried to find the right pace. We gradually sped up as we became more comfortable; our hips bucked against each other harder and harder as we reached closer and closer to our limit.

"Jin, I-I can't-" my words were cut short by Jin's mouth as he forced his tongue to wrestle with mine. In that moment we both came together as Jin pulled out and released himself on my inner thigh. We were breathing heavily on each other, we started laughing for a moment amazed at what we've just done. He moved off of me and went to the bathroom to grab a warm rag. He gently whipped away his remnants off my thighs. "Sorry about that, I was to caught up."

"..."

I saw Jin shuffling through his clothes on the floor and became a little worried, "You're not leaving, are you?"

He looked over at me and laughed a little, "No I was just trying to find my boxers. Here." Jin tossed me my night gown to put on and lead me fro the couch over to the bed. He laid underneath the sheets on his back and signaled for me to come lay down with him. I laid my head on his chest trying to mold my body into his. As I listened to his heart beat I slowly drifted off into sleep.
