Kyoya called a club meeting for the party after we closed. So the sun is setting and Tamaki is sitting in the corner sulking and eating what the twins call 'commoners ramen.'
"Hey boss. Why don't you come over here to help us with the party planning." Hikaru said standing on the opposite side of the table from me and Haruhi.
"Does it really bother you that princess Kasuga taken a liking to Haruhi and Dare?" Karou said beside his brother. When did I become a part of this?
"Well she was flirting with you as well." Haruhi said turning to me.
"Shit, did I just talk out loud again?" I ask no one in particular. I can feel the heat rising to my face again.
Hikaru smirked, "Yes you did."
I groaned and put my head on the table. Feeling my face getting warmer by the second. I really need to stop voicing my thoughts.
"You really should." Kyoya said beside me, still typing on his laptop.
"Shut-up!" I said, it was mostly for me but the others can feel free to follow it as well.
"Back to the subject at hand. Tamaki really shouldn't be surprised, she's had the illness for a while now hasn't she?" Kyoya said, still typing. I lift my head up and look at him. What illness?
"What illness?" Haruhi asked, voicing my thoughts. Yes! I didn't talk that time!
"But you did that time." Karou said smirking. Fuck!
"She has the Host-hopping disease?" Hikaru said, getting back to the subject at hand.
"Aka the never the same boy twice disease." Karou explained. I frowned. If she never sees the same boy twice, then she must be lacking in attention from boys, more so then the other guests. That or she has commitment issues of some sort.
"Usually our customers choose a favorite host then see them regularly. However, princess Kanako tends to change her favorites on a regular basis." Kyoya said. Hmm, I wonder which of my theories are correct?
"That's right. Before she chose you two, she was with Tama-chan." Honey said cutely, suddenly appearing between Haruhi's and my chairs. Seriously, how does Tamaki have more customers than Honey?
"Oh, so he is acting upset because we took her from him." Haruhi said annoyed. This is the first time I've seen Tamaki act like a spoiled brat actually.
"SHUT-UP! I COULDEN'T CARE LESS! AND I'M NOT A SPOILD BRAT!" Tamaki screamed in our faces. I don't mind accidently voicing my thoughts this time.
"Then don't act like one." I said.
"I wasn't acting like one."
"Why were you sulking in the corner after Haruhi and I gained Kanako as our new customer?"
The opened and closed his mouth a couple times before he changed the subject, "I'm running out of patience. Haruhi, Dare, it's time you two start dressing like girls." That's a bit random.
"I don't understand how you two are so popular with the ladies when you yourself are ladies. No one in the entire school knows the truth except for those of us here." Tamaki yelled again. You don't know the half of it.
"They opted out of taking gym class." Hikaru said beside Tamaki. Don't question their appearing abilities, for the sake of sanity just go with it.
"And the attendance are all mixed together so no one can tell." Karou said on Tamaki's other side.
Tamaki disappeared and repapered dragging a treasure chest from nowhere marked 'king's private property' and started digging through it. Don't question, just go with it.
"That's enough you two. Now listen to daddy." Tamaki said as he pulled out two portraits and practically shoved them in our faces. "Daddy wants you to go back to the way you were before!" He said crying. Daddy needs a chill pill.
One portrait was of Haruhi when she was in middle school uniform and had long hair, the other was of me when my hair was long and curly when I was forced to wear a knee length blue sundress (don't ask).
"DON'T GO BLOWING UP OUR PHOTOS WITHOUT ASKING US FIRST!" Haruhi yelled at the crying teen. Yeah, it's creepy.
"The more I look at these pictures the more amazed I am." Hikaru said. Tamaki was now holding up the pictures against the wall and the other hosts were looking at them.
"How could these, possibly become those?" Hikaru asked, meaning how we looked the first month of school.
"Don't hold back Hikaru." I mumbled irritated.
"The day before school started, one of the kids in my neighborhood got some gum in my hair. It's a real pain to get gum out of long hair so I decided to cut it all off. I didn't care if I looked like a dude yah know." Haruhi said.
They looked at me expectantly. I shrugged "I was dared to do it." That's part of the reason, the rest of it is to make myself less recognisable for Moriarty to find me.
"You did it for a dare?" Karou asked in disbelief.
"Yeah. That's why my nickname is Dare."
"What's your real name?" Honey asked.
"Deloris. Don't ask why." The other members looked like they wanted to say something about it, but decided against it.
"Girls should never refer to themselves as a dude!" Tamaki screamed in Haruhi's face. "Mama! Haruhi is using dirty boy words again." What's going on with Tamaki today? He's being way more emotional than normal.
"I'm sorry, but who is mama?" Karou asked Kyoya.
"Based on club position, I assume it's me." Kyoya said. I had to cover my mouth to keep from laughing at that.
"Look, I don't see what you're crying about. Working as hosts we can pay back more of our debt. It will never happen if we're just working as errand boys." Haruhi said, sounding fed up with Tamaki's actions. He's acting a lot like how Ranka did after Haruhi cut her hair.
"I'd hate to change the subject, but do you two have any formal dancing experience? You'll need it at the party." Karou asked. I do but Haruhi probably doesn't.
"Ah no. But the party doesn't have anything to do with our quota right? I'm not interested into going to the event so can I be excused?" Haruhi asked sounding nervous.
"Definatly not. A refined gentleman must know how to dance. If you want to live the life of a host that badly then you have to show us how far you're willing to go Haruhi. I order you to master learning the waltz in one week, and you'll demonstrate it at the party. *girlish spin* Or I'll tell the entire school you're both girls, and knock you two down to errand boys." Tamaki ordered. Tamaki is the real devil.
"Umm, my leg is fucked up, so even if I knew how to walz, it would damage my leg even more if I lead. So I don't have to go right?" I said trying to get out of it. Glad that I'm at the point where Tamaki doesn't lecture me about my cussing anymore, he just gives me a disapproving look. I'm okay with it.
"No you won't have to dance with the girls, but you will have to come. You could entertain the guests when they are resting between dancing." Kyoya said. I don't like the look on face, he is planning something I know I won't like.
Shit.
~Time Skip~
The club is currently closed so Haruhi can learn how to waltz. Watching Haruhi learn how to dance is, honestly, is really funny to watch.
Kanako volunteered to let Haruhi to practice dancing with her. Now Haruhi is trying to perfect dancing so Tamaki doesn't sell us out to the student body, and possibly make Haruhi and I the freaks of the school.
No pressure Haruhi.
Lucky for both of us I know how to waltz both the male and female part, I just can't lead because it could reopen the wound, I can just lean (heavily) on the lead to barely get away with it. Haruhi still has a nasty habit of stepping on my good foot though, she doesn't seem to be doing that Kanako though, but then again she keeps staring at her feet rather than her partner.
Since the Holmes are a noble family that is close to Britain's royal family, even before Mycroft became the British government, we are always invited to the royal balls and parties. So that means all the Holmes kids have to know how to dance starting at an early age, trust me it is less fun than it sounds. Learning how to dance at the same time as Merlin and Danny, aka the clumsy one and annoying one, means my feet were stepped on, a lot.
"Haruhi doing pretty good, for a beginner." Karou said, sitting on the table beside me, while Hikaru was teasing a pouting Tamaki.
"Yeah, she's a fast learner." I said, no way was I telling them I knew how to dance.
"So are you disappointed that you not going to dance at the party? Since you wanted to dance among the cherry blossoms." Karou said smirking at the end.
I know my cheeks turned a dusty pink, "You heard that?"
"I think everyone heard that."
I groaned and burred my face in my hands. I hope my brothers don't catch wind of this, I'll never live it down.
"No, I'm not disappointed. Being blackmailed to go to a party pretty much takes the fun out it."
Karou grimaced slightly, "Yeah, I guess that would put a damper on it. But it might be fun if you give it a chance."
"Maybe, but I'm not a fan of formal events."
"I'm not either, but they could be fun when your friends are there with you." He smiled. Actually he looks really cute when he-WAIT! NO! BAD DARE! DON'T GET ATTACHED!
I immediately looked back to Haruhi dancing, frowning to myself, missing the hurt look that crossed Karou's face.
You can't start liking him, it will only end in pain for me, and like Mycroft and Sherlock always said: love is a chemical defect found on the losing side. Not to mention the fact that he will start calling you a freak when he finds out who I really am, they all will I mean.
"I wouldn't know." I muttered quietly.
Sorry about my lack of updates on my stories, I don't have any really good excuses except my loss of inspiration and laziness, also the fact that I have to look for a job now might take up quite a bit of my time, but I will write when ever I can and upload as soon as I can.
