"Come on baby, come on, come on darling.

Let me steal this moment from you now

Come on angel, come on, come on darling

Let's exchange the experience."

Placebo- Running up that Hill.

Ch. 8

Hand's cupping her backside, legs wrapped firmly around his waist. The sumptuous feeling of her breasts pressed against his chest as her delicate little arms encircled his neck, fingers struggling to grip his hair as he kissed her hungrily.

Her breath quickly became labored, and when she felt his mouth trail down hovering against her breast she had only a second to ponder his intentions before he took her nipple into his mouth, sucking briefly before his warm tongue flicked against the sensitive flesh. Whimpering she turned her head against the bed as Clint pressed a tender kiss against her, hand cupping the other breast, he gave it a firm squeeze.

Blood singing, he felt utterly consumed by his need for her, the unapologetic way he wanted to possess her.

Body so responsive it trembled beneath the lightest of touches, she was coming completely undone, and it was then that he remembered he would be her first. He could hardly imagine going so long in life without indulging in the most carnal of primal urges, it was no wonder she'd been confused by her feelings.

Skin on fire, those white hot flames devouring her whole, Khaleesi elicited sounds she had no idea she was capable of making.

She'd had a distinct idea of what he had been asking in the bath; she was not so naïve, but inexperience had quelled her voice. Never having felt the touch of a mans hands on her body in such wanton desire was startling, exhilarating. The longing evident in his voice, the way he cradled her now urging her leg to wrap around his hip were encouraging and she found she was more than willingly to surrender herself over to him. Hands gripping her hips with a polite sort of force, he pressed his hard length against her, an imposing force that made her breath hitch.

A shot of pain as he pushed through her barrier, sinking in to the hilt he remained still trying to allow her body time to adjust to the harsh intrusion. Counting silently in his mind he gave her a few seconds before he moved, thrusting his hips gently as he claimed her lips again, tongue against her teeth. As he picked up tempo, Khaleesi felt the momentary pain melting away and a deep stroking pleasure take its place. Moaning against his mouth, she lifted her hips and before long was in perfect time with his. Body instinctively knowing what to do it met him, trust for thrust and in a flood of overwhelming pleasure she felt herself shatter in to a million pieces, vision exploding in to a haze of white stars. Face buried against her throat she heard him cry out as he came, pumping in to her with feverish release.

The owl in the night turned its wide yellow eyes towards the moon its call sending a haunting message through the trees. Lying on his back Clint pulled her closer pressing a kiss to her lips.

"...I didn't hurt you did I?"

Khaleesi traced a willowy finger along his hand a sleepy smile touching the corners of her lips, knowing full well the implications of his inquiry had little to do with her claimed virtue and more to do with her general well being.

"No." She answered, finding one scar along the top of his hand and traced its length.

"Is it normal…to be sore after?"

She could feel him smile against her skin, his chest swelling with a strange sense of pride by her question.

"Yeah, but it'll get easier...pretty soon it'll never hurt."

Moving to straddle his hips, Khaleesi pressed her thighs against him which only caused him to grin widely.

"Oh hey now aren't you tired?" He teased, palms smoothing up the nude expanse of her skin.

Returning his grin, her long hair tickling his face as she shook her head playfully.

"I don't think I could ever tire of you, the way you make me feel."

Pulling her down into a deep kiss, he growled causing her to laugh against his mouth. It was going to be a long night.

They spent the day lounging about the bedroom, Clint happily introducing her to the concept of breakfast in bed, which to say the least was a brilliant success. When they concluded they had to venture out they didn't get far, a hot bath calling to them, the water gloriously hot it turned their skin a rosy pink color. Facing him in the tub, Khaleesi traced the scars that dotted his shoulder, the one near his heart catching her attention in particular. Still pink from healing, the wound was softly puckered around the outside as if made by a heated blade.

"What is this scar from?"

He knew which one she was talking about without even looking, he rubbed at the scar feeling the sensations of a phantom ache swelling just beneath the surface.

"Loki." One word, one name he spit out with more anger then he intended to show her.

Khaleesi flinched, a pang of regret reaching her as she realized she'd upset him. He halted her only for a second thumb and forefinger holding her chin as she reached behind him on the lip of the black stone tub as she picked up his straight razor.

"You couldn't have known."An apology of sorts.

Leaning in Khaleesi kissed his forehead before settling back in the water rubbing the oil on his face, carefully and slowly using the blade she began to shave his face, starting at the base of his throat and working her way up.

He loved this about her. The way she was so forgiving.

He felt an odd sense of accomplishment as she tended to him, it was accomplishment he knew he probably wasn't entitled to as he slipped into a role that wasn't written for him, one that he would gladly impose upon. The peace she brought him was something he wasn't willing to relinquish and it gave Clint the strength to look beyond that fact she had been groomed her whole life to please a man who didn't deserve to feel her cool small hands in his, to hear her beautiful laughter like bells in the wind. He knew this was a dangerous game but he told himself he would make her happy, she would keep him whole.

Spring fell away and the wildlife became abundant, the forest teeming with new life as the islands weather became delightfully hot. Clint stood atop the roof of the estate checking its slate shingles as he went, looking for signs of damage from the winter storms. He scanned the tree line and horizon over the water for any signs of life, anything out of the ordinary but as usual he saw nothing. Scaling down to the edge of the roof he hopped down on the balcony before making an easy jump over the railing, landing with a soft thud on the balls of his feet on the ground below.

Walking towards the beach he could already hear Khaleesi singing softly, her voice carrying in the gentle wind. Smiling to himself as he listened he kept a slow pace, watching as she knelt down to pick up shells hiding amongst the stones. Using the front of her dress to hold the tiny treasures, her white blonde curls wafting in the wind as she bowed. Raising up, she smiled waving to him with her free hand.

The edges of her gown dipping in to the water it soaked the hemline, pulling at her legs as it clung to her body, flashes of her reflection glittering on the waters surface. A bright white stone caught her eye, reaching below the cool blue water she smiled feeling the silky smooth texture of the stone with her fingertips. Glancing just beside her she gasped seeing the reflection of someone beside her. Sharp facial features, long dark hair. She could almost feel them standing behind her. A startled scream escaping her lips, the shells collected in the skirts of her gown falling forgotten into the water, disappearing once more.

Turning around wildly she saw no one but Clint running towards her from the beach, the water splashing wildly around him as he rushed towards her.

"What's wrong?" He asked looking around her at the water seeing nothing to cause alarm.

Clinging to his shirt for a moment she peeked over his shoulder and towards the water.

"…I…I thought I saw someone."

He gave her a skeptical look, and just he'd probably intended Khaleesi frowned feeling silly.

"I was obviously mistaken...the sun playing tricks. Though I greatly appreciate you rushing to my rescue."

She said softly, kissing his jaw before pulling away, taking his hand in hers and turning towards the estate.

Surveying the water around them one more time, Clint subconsciously rubbed at the scar on his chest through the fabric of his shirt. A sense of uneasiness settling in his bones. Shaking his head he told himself it was nothing, nothing at all to worry about.
