The night had went on pretty uneventful, after everything that had happened including having one of your friends being held at gunpoint, other two in the hospital, kissing your other-dimension-girlfriend and watching a relationship pick up where it had been left. So that night was all about letting go of all that stress and fear. Garfield offered Dick a ride home, right after the girls left to Karen's house for a sleepover, dragging Terra along with them.

It was pretty late at night, and the road was mainly empty, which gave oportunity for a smooth and peaceful ride home for both Gar and Richard.

"Hey uh Dick, can I ask you something?" Garfield broke the silence, keeping his eyes on the road at all times.

"Yeah man, what's up?" Richard glimpsed at him, just to see if Garfield's expression gave something away.

"Did you actually had a crush on Kori all this time?" He asked.

Richard cleared his throat, going through whatever he was going to say. Fiddling with his fingers he started speaking. "Well uh, I never actually had this crazy crush that wouldn't let me sleep or think in anything else..."

'That's a lie' he thought to himself

"After all I think everyone has a kind of crush on Kori." He laughed heartily along with Garfield.

"Truer words have never been spoken" Garfield agreed. "I just, felt kind of bad yesterday night when she made me see how much you cared for her, and maybe felt like I was taking her away from you."

'That is exactly how I felt'

"Not at all man, I was really happy for both of you. After all, I was the one who pushed you to do it." Richard remembered a little something that Starfire told him that day in chemistry.

Garfield smiled at the memory "yeah, you are an excellent wingman dude, I'll give you that."

Garfield carefully parked his car in Richard's porch, dimming his headlights.

"Well man, I'm glad everything was sorted out. Still, I wanted to ask you to come with me and check out on what the deal with Garret is. He is detained right now but I just want to make sure that little rat stays away from Kori." Garfield raised his fist for Dick to bump.

"Yeah that is a good idea, I'll see you tomorrow then" Dick bumped fists with Garfield and climbed out of his car, walking towards the door.

He came inside and noticed a couple of wine glasses half used on the coffee table, as well as Bruce's shoes and Selina's purse. He went upstairs and noticed their door was locked. Imagining the most awkward scenario possible, he went back downstairs and out the patio, to avoid any noises that they might let out in their, uh, intimacy.

He layed down on the grass and sighed, closing his eyes. Well, something was already resolved alright, but he still nedes to get out of this place, fast.

He was getting somewhat worried about The Titan's tones when he heard their voices. He had never listened so closely to what their emotions sounded like when they spoke until now, and he could faintly see their faces, which is why he discarded them as a dream.

"When am I going to go back?" He spoke to himself. His thoughts went on slowly, like a slideshow, and soon enough he was slipping into sleep, under the night sky, alone.

"There was no change overnight" he started listening to Raven's voice, almost feeling her cold touch over his forehead.

"I don't know if that should be interpreted as good or bad" Beast boy's usually happy voice was toned down, obvious worry dripping from it.

At that moment, Richard 's conciousness started acting by itself, trying to blink, to breathe, to move a finger or two, just so that he could make sure it was a dream, or to find out what it was.

He felt his right hand moving, slowly, carefully. Richard knew what was happening, it was a kind of sleep paralysis, which he hadn't felt since he was being Slade's apprentice, long time ago. Raven had told him this was because of high levels of stress he handled at the moment. He had learned how to deal with it, controlling it to his own benefit, and at this moment it was exactly what he needed.

As he moved his right hand he couldn't feel the grass where he was laying down on the back of his palms, but he felt a soft, cold blanket. He moved his hand so that his palm was facing upward, as if he were to receive something. Then, he tried to move his fingers, one by one, very slowly.

"Raven" he felt a soft sigh being whispered near him. "His hand"

Star's voice was so little, so far away, but yet so clear, it encouraged him to move his fingers in a different manner, and started opening and closing his fist to call their attention.

He could feel someone moving around him, and Raven spoke.

"He's..."

"Moving." Beast boy finished her sentence. "How is that possible?"

"It might be a reflex, but I have never seen such a strong movement as a reflex." Raven said soflty.

Richard started to focus even harder, opening and closing his fist even faster now, waiting for someone to understand what it meant.

They eventually did, as he felt Star's hand fall on top of his, softly tracing his palm and making it relax. Her nails carefully grazed on it, waiting for any other movement.

"Robin, can you hear us?" Her little whisper spoke up again. "Let us know if you can"

Slowly, but with his strong grip, he started to squeeze her hand, reassuringly.

He felt her other hand trapping his in a soft embrace, and he knew that she had understood.

"His heart is racing." Raven pointed out. "He's using to much energy."

Robin's hand lost its grip as he focused into trying to wake up, this time, where he truly belonged.

"Beast boy, get Cyborg here right now." Raven ordered, her voice felt much closer now.

"On it"

"Perhaps he is trying to come back" Star spoke hopefully, squeezing Richard's hand even harder.

"Whatever he is doing, is making his pulse rocket." Raven seemed preocuppied, yet relieved in some way.

Richard emptied his mind: his worries, thoughts, memories, everything. He mainly focused on where he wanted to go at the moment. Every single time he felt paralysed and was left lucid dreaming while awake prepared him for this, and he didn't want to mess this up.

He couldn't listen to any voices now. Right now he was alone, trying to reach the place where he belonged at last.

In a lapse of seconds, he felt a rush through his veins, that made him choke up. Waking up he stood up in pain, feeling different tuve and siringes detach from his body as machines beeped out of control. He found himself coughing and gasping for air, and he felt someone holding his back and patting him.

Softly he regained his breathing and his heart regained its normal rythm. Finally he opened his eyes…
