Gormlaith's Point of View

I chuckled at Hakon's antics as the doors of the Hall of Valor thumped shut. I glanced over, and saw a woman in full armor with a greatsword over her shoulder as well as a sword and an axe at her hips. She removed her helm, shaking free her mane of flame-red hair and tucking the helm under her arm. Allea. It took all of my self control not to run to her side, because it had been quite a while since I had seen her. Realizing she hadn't spotted me yet, I turned, and pretended I didn't see her come in. After a moment, I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Hello, Gormlaith."
"Hello, Allea."

"Hello, Dragonborn," Hakon said, bowing slightly to her.

My lover nodded.
"Good to see you, Hakon."

She kissed me gently, taking my hand while she did. She broke the kiss after a moment, and removed her hand from mine, knowing that I didn't like showing affection in front of everyone else in Sovngarde. Also, besides Tsun because he was the gatekeeper to the Hall of Valor, only Hakon knew about our relationship. Everyone else just thought we were really good friends. Or that's what I hoped. We walked into my room.
"How have you been, Allea?"
"Just fine. Really busy though. I've been running the Companions. And then there's still dragons who supported Alduin and still do, despite my defeating him, and that aren't scared of Paarthurnax, so I've been hunting them down. I've also been fighting for the Stormcloak rebellion, trying to end the civil war," Allea said.

"Yeah, I've been watching."

She kissed me gently on the mouth again.

"I love you, Gormlaith," she said.

"I love you too."

Thank you for your kind review, KathrynD1993. And you are more than welcome. I'm not real sure where I'm going to go with this story though. But I do intend to continue it.
