The group soon pulled into a large apartment complex. They had gotten stuck behind a driver at a red light, right before the entrance to the apartment. The only reason they knew this was the complex was that they saw Kei's red convertible pull into the complex. Yasu was driving and was careful not to seem like he was following. Yasu quickly pulled into the parking lot.

"Where are they?" Shin looked around quickly. Searching the seemingly endless stream of cars.

"There!" Hachi leaned forward, her eyes catching sight of the red convertible.

Yasu parked across the parking lot from them, an area listed as visitor parking. The four rushed out of the car and looked up at the tall building. It was a luxury apartment with ten floors, each one with a balcony. The building was rather new and was made of red brick with white accents around the windows and the main door which had large glass windows. Each balcony had seamless silver metal bars around the black stone balcony.

"How do we know which one is theirs?" Hachi wondered as the looked up at the many windows.

"Hey the spaces are labeled." Shin pointed down at the paint in each of the spots next to Kei's car.

Nobu rushed over to the front of the red car and looked under it. "Penthouse!" Nobu turned to the group.

"How will we get in, the door is locked." Hachi approached the door.

"Leave that to me." Shin smiled and pulled a hair pin out of Hachi's hair before kneeling down in front of the lock. He straightened out the pin and gently began to fiddle in the lock. "And...There we go!" Shin pulled the door and it suddenly opened.

"No time to ask how you learned to do that..." Yasu shook his head slightly as he and the other three ran into the building.

"The elevator is right there." Hachi rushed over and pressed the button. Since none of them had been in this building before, none of them knew where the stairs were so the elevator was the fastest option at the moment.

The four rushed into the elevator and Nobu pressed the penthouse button as the doors closed behind them. The elevator ride felt so slow and never ending. Nobu stared at the numbers as they lit up one by one until it reached the letter P. The doors finally opened and Nobu was the first one to rush out of the elevator. The carpet on the floor was a deep blue which contrasted against the white walls. A few small paintings hung on the wall. There was only one door on the floor and they suddenly heard voices.

"Kei please I'm sorry! Kei you're hurting me!" Kita's voice pleaded from the opposite side of the door.

"Shut up!" Kei's angry voice shouted.

"If this is how loud it gets why had no one called the police?" Hachi pondered out loud.

"People who pay for the penthouse often pay more for privacy, the floor below us is probably storage for the maintenance people." Yasu responded a thud was heard from in the apartment.

"Who was that guy?!" Kei shouted.

"I told you I just met him!" Kita cried.

"Liar!" Kei shouted as a loud crash was heard.

"Kita" Nobu rushed to the door and attempted to turn the handle but it was locked. "Yasu help me break it down!"

Yasu approached the door "One, two, three!" Yasu and Nobu simultaneously threw their bodies against the door, a loud crack was heard as the bolt was forced through the frame, opening the door.

The four froze at the scene in front of them. The apartment had white carpet and white walls, a clean, yet sparse look. Kei shoved Kita against the wall and everyone saw her fall amongst the broken glass from the glass coffee table that was now reduced to glass bits and a black metal frame. Standing in front of the black fabric couch was Kei, shirtless, with his muscular chest heaving in adrenaline and anger.

Kita's right sleeve was torn revealing dark bruises as well as several cuts from the broken glass.

"Who the heck are you?!" Kei shouted at the four, clearly surprised and angered.

"Kita!" Nobu ignored Kei and rushed over to Kita, kneeling beside her.

"Back off punk!" Kei raised his fist only for Yasu to grab it and push him onto the couch.

"The police are going to be called, and you will be charged with assault." Yasu stared down at Kei, through his sunglasses.

Nobu gently pushed Kita's hair out of her face to see her eyes closed. "She's unconscious." Nobu looked up at Yasu, not sure what to do.

"Shin call the police and tell them they will need to bring an ambulance," Yasu instructed and Shin pulled out his phone.

"Put that shit away!" Kei got to his feet.

"Back off." Nobu snapped. "Haven't you done enough!" Nobu got to his feet, glaring at Kei. Nobu was not normally the kind to slow anger, he was usually the mellow and even tempered one but something about seeing Kita so hurt made him this way.

"Bitch is still alive." Kei smirked.

"You asshole!" Nobu snapped, stepping closer to Kei.

Kei suddenly punched Nobu hard in the jaw.

"Nobu!" Hachi cried out and rushed to see if he was alright.

Yasu grabbed Kei and forced him back on the couch. "That is two counts of assault, don't even try to go for three..." Yasu was a paralegal and knew the legal system well. He would be more than happy to get his employer to represent Kita and Nobu.

Kei looked up as two officers entered the apartment. The first was tall, standing about 6'1" the other about 5'9". The taller one had short black hair and the shorter one had short brown hair.

"In here." The taller officer spoke as he waved in two paramedics dressed in blue uniforms. The first was a man in his early thirties with short black hair and tanned skin. The second was pale with short brown hair. The two walked in pulling in a stretcher.

"N-Nobu?" A weak voice spoke softly.

Nobu looked down quickly to see Kita with her deep blue eyes looking up at him.

"Kita" Nobu knelt down beside her.

"What happened? You're hurt" Kita saw that Nobu's jaw was bright red.

"Don't worry about it." Nobu chuckled.

"Stay away from my girl asshole!" Kei shouted.

"I'm not your girl Kei...Not anymore...We are done!" Kita forced herself to speak out loud words she never imagined herself being able to say.

"Fine I can get a hotter piece of ass anyway!" Kei shouted back as the officers force Kei's hands behind his back and into handcuffs.

"Come on tough guy the cameras are waiting for your glamor shot." The taller officer spoke as he force Kei out the door. There were already paparazzi outside after word got out that there was an incident at the apartment.

"We should still get her and you looked at, at the hospital to make sure nothing is injured worse than it appears." The black haired paramedic spoke as Nobu helped Kita to her feet and onto the stretcher.

"I'll see you at the hospital." Nobu reassured Kita.

"You may ride along if you wish, so you can be seen right away." The brown haired paramedic gave a small smile.

"Oh okay." Nobu smiled when he saw Kita smile.

With that being said the paramedics pushed Kita out on the stretcher while Nobu followed behind after getting a Go motion from Hachi.

"You think she will be okay?" Hachi looked up at Yasu.

Yasu nodded as he began to write a check.

"What's that for?" Shin peeked over.

"The door we broke down." Yasu replied simply.

Shin looked over at the broken door and rubbed the back of his neck. "Oh yea, but hey it was for a good cause!"

"You didn't even break it Shin." Hachi chuckled.

"Hey they didn't give me a chance!" Shin pouted.

Hachi couldn't help but laugh at Shin's childish behavior.

"Oh shoot I have to get back for the sitter!" Hachi ran out of the apartment, knowing that the babysitter was waiting for her to get home.

"She hasn't changed a bit..." Shin chuckled as he walked out of the apartment with Yasu...
