This chapter is a bonus chapter. It has the 9 months that Kurenai was pregnant. I felt like this is an important funny part that people will enjoy. I hope this is what some people wanted.

Bonus Chapter

Kurenai's PoV

I came home late that evening. I had to pick up groceries before I had went home. I walked in the door and saw Kakashi asleep on the couch. I smiled. He was so cute when he slept. I sat the bags down on the table and went over to him. He was smiling in his sleep, almost like he knew I was there. I laughed a little and put a blanket over him. Then I went back to the kitchen and started to put the groceries away. I put my hand on my stomach happily. I couldn't believe it. I was having Kakashi's child. Never in a million years had I ever pictured myself having his child. I had fallen for Asuma. I had figured this was going to my life, only with him…but ever since he had passed away all I thought about is when I was little, and when I'd see Kakashi…just like Hinata with Naruto, My heart fluttered whenever I saw him. He was such a loner. I thought no one would be with him, or that he'd want to remain a loner just like he always does. He was very different than what I thought. He was so caring and loving toward me. I smiled to myself.

The next day I had gotten up to the smell of pancakes. I looked around confused then I went to the kitchen and saw Kakashi cooking pancakes.

"What are you doing?" I asked laughing.

"Making breakfast for my queen, and soon to be prince or princess." He said with the biggest smile. Since we started living together, he had been keeping his mask off around the house, and would only put it on if we had company or if we went out.

"Well maybe I wanted to make breakfast." I said laughing.

"Well too bad. I got here first. But you can help if you insist." He said laughing.

"Ok, what do you need me to do?" I asked.

"Hmm….how about getting plates for both of us?" He asked.

"That's fine with me." I said smiling. I went and got plates out of the cupboard. I sat them on the table and went back over to Kakashi. He wiped some pancake mix on my nose and laughed.

"Hey now that wasn't very nice to do." I said laughing.

"Sure it wasn't. I think you look good like that." He said smiling.

"I think you…" I began taking some mix on my finger, "would look better with some on your cheek." I said wiping my finger on his cheek.

He laughed, after a few minutes we were sitting at the table eating our pancakes.

"You make good pancakes Kakashi." I said.

"Thank you…Oh Kurenai…I wanted to talk to you…" He said in a more serious tone.

"What about?" I asked concerned.

"I…may be gone for a while, Kurenai is sending me to the sand village to train some of the kids there…and my team is coming to help, but since I'll be there…I won't be able to see you for some time. They also have the authority to send me on missions..." He said.

"W-what's all this mean Kakashi?" I asked.

"Well….just in case…Anything happens, I want you to know how much I love you." He said.

"Don't talk like that Kakashi…Please don't talk like that…"I said starting to cry.

He came over and hugged me.

"Don't you worry about it too much honey…"He said hugging me tightly.

"When will you be leaving?" I asked hugging him back.

"2 weeks from now…" He said. I looked at him sadly and nodded.

2 weeks later

Kakashi had left early that morning. I didn't get the chance to tell him goodbye. I looked at my ring sadly. I got up and went to the kitchen. I got some breakfast and ate at my table sadly. I heard a knock at the door, I got up and answered it.

"Morning Sensai!" Hinata said smiling.

"Oh? Good morning Hinata." I said smiling.

"I came to congratulate you on your baby." She said.

"Oh, well thank you." I said. She smiled at me.

"I've got a question…" She began.

"Ok, shoot." I said.

"Um…When will you know the gender of the baby?" She asked.

"Um…ya know…I think in about…4 months in, maybe 5. Why?" I asked.

"Oh No reason ma'am." She said.

I looked at her confused.

"I'll see you a little but later." I said shutting the door. Hinata left and I sighed. I looked around the empty house and decided to start cleaning.

3 months later

I was sound asleep when I was rudely awakened by the phone. I sat up and answered it.

"Hello?" I asked sleepily.

"Is this Kurenai?" The voice on the other end asked.

"Yes, Who is this?" I asked.

"Ma'am, Kakashi is being transported to the leaf village hospital in critical condition…He should be arriving in about 20 minutes." The voice said.

"What?! What's wrong with him? What happened? Will he be ok?" I asked frantically.

"We don't know yet ma'am. He was hurt pretty badly, and we think…well ma'am…he may die. He doesn't look…very good." The voice said.

I hung up the phone and flung myself out of bed. I got dressed as quickly as possible. I rushed to the hospital, and I had gotten there right as they were bring in Kakashi. He was covered in bandages and they had to help him breath. He had so many tubes and cords running all around him. I began to cry. He looked just like Asuma did. Tsunade came over to me.

"Don't work yourself up. You'll lose the baby…I'm his doctor. I won't let him die. Understand?" She asked in a reassuring tone.

"B-but Tsunade….Tsunade he looks like a-asuma….and…and he he didn't…." I said my voice shaky.

"It's ok. Just calm down. Shikimaru, take her." She said looking at shikimaru than going the direction that Kakashi was taken in.

"Come with me ma'am…" He said helping me to a waiting room. I looked at him scared to death.

"Shikimaru….I can't have what happened to asuma…happen to him…not again, I can't go through that again…" I said with the same shaky voice.

"He'll be ok ma'am….Tsunade is working on him right now, and as soon as he gets out of surgery I'll let you know so you can be with him." He said in a reassuring tone.

"Thank you….Thank you so much Shikimaru." I said. He nodded and left. I sighed then put my hand on my stomach.

"I...can't lose you either…I can't you know that…" I said.

After several hours of waiting, and hoping that he'd be ok, Tsunade finally came in.

"Well?! Is he ok?" I asked terrified.

"He is doing great. You can stay with him, He should wake up by at least tomorrow morning. His surgery went fine, and we had no issues." Tsunade said.

"Really?!" I said smiling happily than leaving to go to Kakashi's room.

I barged into the room and went over to Kakashi. I put his hand in mine and held it close to me.

"Kakashi….I want to have our wedding…I can't lose you. I want us to stay together forever. I really do…Please don't leave me like he did…"I said sadly.

I sat down in a chair beside him, still holding his hand. I sat there for hours just watching him and the heart monitor.

"I love you…I love you so much. Please stay with me." I said quietly not soon after I fell asleep.

Next Day

When I woke up Kakashi was up looking at me.

"Kakashi!" I said getting up, and hugging him.

"Hey honey, I'm so sorry that this is the way we meet back up…" He said sadly.

"I want to get married as soon as possible. You said whenever I was ready and I'm ready. I want to stay with you as long as possible before we both somehow end up dead…and I want our little baby to know who their daddy was." I said.

"We will get married as soon as I'm out of here." He said smiling.

"Good." I said smiling happily.

2 months later

"Where are we going Kakashi?" I said laughing.

"The teams got together and we decided to do something for you. That's all you need to know." He said laughing.

We went to the Hyuga mansion. I looked around confused. I had been there only once before.

"What are we doing here?" I asked confused.

"You'll see." He said laughing.

We went inside and there were a bunch of pink balloons everywhere, everything was pink and purple.

"What's all this?" I asked confused.

"This is a baby shower for my little princess." Kakashi said smiling.

"What? You didn't need to do all this Hinata, Is this why you wanted to know the gender of the baby?" I asked.

"Yes, and this is your baby of course I had to through you a baby shower!" Hinata said smiling.

"Well that's really nice of you." I said smiling.

"Do you like it honey? I picked some of the decorations." Kakashi asked.

"I love it Kakashi." I said with a smile.

"Well are you gonna unwrap your gifts?" He asked. I laughed and nodded and he handed me some gifts and I unwrapped them. There were things from adorable baby clothes to diapers, and even some toys. I smiled and loved every single one.

"Kakashi, give her you gift." Hinata said.

"Yea I will." He said handing me a big box.

I looked at it confused then opened it. It was a crib. A beautiful white wooden crib.

"Do you really think you can put this together Kakashi?" I said laughing.

"Yea….but I…uh…I mean if not shikimaru can help me with it." He said laughing.

"Oh! We still need to paint her room Kakashi." I said smiling and putting my hand on my stomach.

"We have 4 more months ya know." He said laughing.

"No we technically have 3. The 9th month is when I'm having her." I said with a smile.

"If you need a baby sitter any time Ino and I can baby sit." Sakura said smiling.

"Thank you girls. I'm sure when she gets older we will need that." I said.

"Yea, ya know, cause we may want more kids…if ya catch my drift." Kakashi said.

Sakura smacked him.

"That's too much info Kakashi-Sensai!" She said.

I laughed. We stayed at the party until it got dark then Kakashi and Shikimaru helped us carry the gifts back home.

"So Shikimaru, how have you and Temari been?" I asked.

"Fine. We are moving in together next month. We found out a few weeks ago that she was pregnant." Shikimaru said happily.

"Didn't you all get married about 2 months ago?" I asked.

"Yea, but she had to go home, and pack all her stuff. She would've moved in sooner, but we had to move everything from one place to the other and it takes two days and neither of us had the time. Gaara finally told Kankuro to help, and some of the other ninja." He said.

"Well congrats on both" I said smiling.

"Yea. I'm sure you'll be a great man like asuma, and a great father." Kakashi said smiling.

"Yea….Well thanks guys. I'm gonna go." Shikimaru said sitting our stuff down outside the door than leaving.

Kakashi opened the door and led me inside then started bringing everything in.

"Kakashi….are you happy with us being together?" I asked.

"What? Of course I am. I love you with all of my heart." Kakashi said smiling.

"Good….I was just worried." I said.

4 months later

"Kakashi!" I yelled. He burst in thinking I was in labor.

"What? Is my baby on the way?" He asked.

"Nope, I wanna paint her room purple and blue." I said smiling with paint buckets beside me.

"Honey….is this such a good idea?" He asked.

"Now why wouldn't it be mister?" I asked.

"You're close to popping." He said.

"Oh? Well too bad." I said laughing.

We started painting the room with blue and purple then it eventually devolved into us paint each other including the walls.

"Hey!" I said laughing.

"You started it." He said laughing too.

"Someone is gonna have to clean this carpet while I cook dinner." I said laughing.

"Wait do you mean me?!" He asked laughing.

"Yes, I'm making steak for dinner." I said smiling.

"Oh….ok then. I'll do it for you then." He said with a smile. I giggled then when to the kitchen and started to cook while he started cleaning. I set the table and looked at the high chair happily when Hinami kicked.

"Oh I know honey, you'll be here soon." I said laughing. I continued my routine then finished dinner about 20 minutes later.

"Kakashi! Time for dinner." I called.

He came in and sat at the table. I smiled at him and loaded his plate with food.

"I can't wait ya know. Can't wait at all." He said.

"Oh? You can't wait for Hinami?" I asked.

"No. I can't." He said with the biggest smile.

"Well Neither can I. I'm so happy I can have a little baby girl to hold in my arms." I said smiling.

When we finished eating Kakashi went to take a shower, and I started on dishes. Eventually he came down in only his towel.

"Shower is yours whenever." He said smiling.

"Oh. Ok." I said looking at his chest. I was drawn to the scar I looked at it sadly. I reminded me of the day I nearly lost Kakashi.

"You ok? You haven't finished the dishes. Normally when I get back down here you are on the couch." He said worried.

I just sat the plate back in the sink, and went over and hugged him tightly starting to cry.

"Woah woah woah….. What happened? What did I say? What's wrong?" He asked.

"That scar….that scar reminds me of the day that I almost lost you." I said crying into his chest.

He rubbed my back and calmed me down.

"Why don't you go take a shower? I'll finish these dishes for you ok?" He asked.

I nodded and went to take a shower. After a couple of minutes I came back to see Kakashi already asleep in bed. I sighed than laid beside him and went to sleep.
