Overprotective
Hey guys, I'm back with another one shot. I'm sorry for making this instead of updating Taken In. I'm trying to find out how to write the next chapter, the new chapter is gonna be awkward at times. So, R&R and I hope you guys enjoy.
The boy was just walking down the hallway, trying to get to class, when one of his bullies decided to taunt him by dropping the other boys things.
Normally, this would just be ignored, but Evan's parents were divorcing, he had nobody to talk with, and he was already hurt from another bully.
"Can you please not do this today, it's already gone bad enough!" Evan shouted to the bully, but he just snickered and started kicking Evan's things around.
"Hey dumbass, you got cotton in your ears, he said STOP!" Someone shouted as everyone in the halls got quiet and watched what was about to unfold. "What the fuck did you just call me?!" The bully asked in a pissed tone, but the other kid who spoke up just gave a smug smirk.
"I called you a dumbass, dumbass, or is your dumbass too dumb to know what that is?" The upstander said as the bully sent a fist to him. The kid quickly dodged it and elbowed the other in the forehead.
The bully quickly lost his balance and fell down. He quickly got up and ran. "That's right, don't mess with him again, and tell your friends not to touch him either!" The kid shouted as he helped Evan pick up his stuff. "Hey, you okay? Did he hurt you?" The boy asked as the other shaked his head sideways. "Okay, well I'm Jonathan, and no, don't thank me, I chose to do that." Jonathan said as the other just hung his mouth open.
"Well, my name is Evan, and thanks for standing up for me. No one has ever done that before." Evan said as the other just went in for a hug.
"This feels so awkward, but nice at the same time." Evan said as Jonathan let go of him. "I gotta go to class, thanks again." Evan said, heading for class as Jonathan waved at him.
"Yes Jon, I remember when that happened. After that you were always protecting me, left to right, in and out, and anywhere."
It was now many years later. Evan and Jonathan had been friends since that day, when Jon became an upstander instead of being a bystander.
"I also remember when you said that you loved me." Evan said as the other just hugged him.
"I'll be overprotective with you every day of your life. Nothing will ever hurt you and be left unforgiven." Jonathan said as they kissed passionately.
He would be overprotective, no matter what.
