Asuna sat in her apartment Yggdarsil city; it was three days since they last grouped and spoke about Beast. She was conflicted; she had been learning things about a man she despised. And she was learning things about herself.
"I wasn't as nice of a person then," whispered to herself.
"When?" A voice came from behind her.
Asuna jumped and turned. Kathy Mills was standing there, "I called your name twice."
Asuna blushed, "Sorry."
"When?" Kathy asked again.
Asuna liked Kathy; she was the mother figure she always wished her mother was like. She was kind like Agil but she could and would intervene when the boys were acting foolish, or when the girls started getting too teasing. She would step in, speak, and show wisdom of age that everyone could learn from.
"In the game, I was…not concerned about other players," Asuna told her.
I just cared about finishing the game and getting home.
Kathy did not speak, she did not have too. Her husband told her about Asuna and about the duel between her and Kirito.
"What changed you?" Kathy asked.
"Kirito. I had decided to do something both heartless and foolish, Kirito stopped me. It was a good thing too I learned that it wouldn't have worked and probably cost us more lives.
Kathy and Asuna were waiting in her apartment when there came a knock on the door.
"Enter Agent Kikouka," Kathy spoke. He was the only one that knocked.
In walked the Agent. The rest of the group followed quickly, with Kirito bringing up the rear Yui-chan riding his shoulder.
"Mommy!" cried the little fairy as she leapt and flew to her mother.
The group chuckled as they hugged. Yui trying to wrap her arms around Asuna and Asuna softly 'hugging' back, using just a couple fingers.
"Have you been a good girl for daddy?" Asuna asked as Yui-chan took her seat next to Asuna's ear.
Agil went and kissed his wife as the other girls all took up seats close to Asuna and Yui-chan.
'Girls always seem to know when one of them is stressed or feeling bad' He thought to himself.
"So, where should we start today?" Kikouka asked after everyone got seated. He did not want to be a problem, but his superiors wanted as many answers about this Beast as he could get.
"We will just take up where we left off," Kirito answered. He was getting a little worried; the date was getting closer to probably nastiest day he could remember.
"Before we continue," Kathy spoke up. Yui-chan, do you remember what we told you at the end of last meeting?"
"Yes," she replied confidently "That you don't need detailed description of Mr. Beast's intimacies'"
"Ok, lets continue…"
February Sixth Floor Forty-Four. Six am:
Beast woke up and showered before Mai and was in the living room when he heard her stumble out of bed and hurried to the shower. When she got out and dressed, Beast was finishing there packed lunches.
"Are you ready to work?" He asked her.
She pulled her Sword and smiled.
10:30 am.
Beast stood, breathing just a little harder then normal. He had set a pace for clearing the floor that was a little faster then his normal. And they had cleared the floor twice today.
"With this monsters and the low Xp payment of the quest I have only gained one level," Mai spoke panting harder but still staying on her feet.
"Isn't the Ant Hill a better grinding spot?" She asked as she finally stood.
"In seven days you will understand why this place is better," Beast replied. "Now sit down and rest."
Mai went to a tree and obeyed the order as she watched him, Pup decided to lay her heads on Mai's lap and Mai just sat and scratched the dog's ears'
Beast switched from his claws to using a Great Hammer. He would dash and smash every undead in range. He swung the weapon around as if it weighed nothing, and after three hours he had killed everything five times over.
When he was done, Mai saw that he was breathing harder, and had a look of pure hatred in his eyes. But the moment he reached her at her tree it was clearing up, the hatred was not towards her.
"Master?" she started as she stood and followed him. "What drives you? I have heard stories about you; they say you are the coldest and cruelest person when you deal with Player Killers."
He did not speak. He remained quiet all the way back to the house, and once inside he went to the mantle over the fireplace and opened a box.
It held three things, a picture of Beast sitting with three boys and a woman, Mai knew right then and there that it was Ryoko. The second thing was a beautiful ring, and the third was a message crystal. Beast touched the crystal and walked away.
'Beast, if you are hearing this, it means the boys and I have died. I want to tell you thank you, thank you for being their for us from the start. Do not regret our time, it has been the best I have had in my life. I have a request of you. Live. Don't just lay down and give up, fight and win. Stay alive, live for us all. Find a woman; treat her as you have treated me. DO NOT live as a celibate monk, it's not who you are. Find the passion that has made my nights so complete.'
Mai was speechless as she listened.
This is an edit, two hours ago we earned of the player attacks. Beast if we have died at the hands of other player then I want you to hunt them. You know how much I love watching you fight, how turned on it makes me. Hunt them down and remember I am watching you and I demand the greatest show you have ever given me.
I love you with all my heart,
Ryoko.
The sound of some one kissing the message was the last thing Mai heard just before it clicked off.
"Does that answer your question?" Beast asked as he moved and closed the box.
Mai just nodded and stood, before heading to her room.
Beast watched her leave and went to his desk; it was covered in papers and photos. Many believed He was a random killer they he just showed up like a demon in the night and found his prey. Truth is he studied; he approached his work with an artist flare. The only thing that matched Beasts violence in a capture was his inelegance in the hunt.
Mai came out around four in the after noon. Beast did not have to look up to know she was in the room; she pulled his chair back from the desk and straddled his lap. She wore a set of thigh high satin stockings held up by a garter belt and nothing else.
Mai sat there and took Beasts head in her arms and pulled it close so he was softly kissing the flesh just above her breasts.
"Any chance I can take you back to the bedroom?" was her whispered request.
"Not now," he replied. "I am hunting for blood at the moment."
"Then let us hunt." And Mai shifted, instead of straddling him she sat with her legs across his and looked at his desk.
After looking at a few pictures and reading the reports.
"Blood Queens?"
Beast nodded, "Women who kill clients, Hookers that gained a taste of killing the 'John's and Jane's' but they are smart, they pick there targets well and have patients." Beast replied.
"Underage?" Mai continued to look through pictures.
"Nope, no underage and no forced prostitution. None of the normal trails to follow." Beast gave a small growl of disappointment.
"So, true pros," Mai spoke, it wasn't a question. She had seen these kinds before. Usually they were women that had been so broken for so long that any humanity they had left was all forgotten.
"Markings?" Mai wondered out loud.
Beast took a piece of paper with a picture drawn on it. A gold crown with a small drop of blood dripping off the edge.
"Planning to catch them in the act?" Mai asked.
"No, they spread out if I kill one I will miss the others. I need to get them all at once."
I will message a few of my…former co-workers," Mai started by pulling up her message menu and typing quickly. "Maybe we can get lucky.
"You have no trouble with this?" He asked her turning her face to look at his after she finishes.
Men, women, even children…I have and will kill any that murder another player."
He reply was strong but for a brief second there was doubt in her eyes...
"Will you kill an innocent?" She asked calmly.
Nether spoke, there was no need to. Beast doesn't kill innocent; there was enough guilty ones out there he didn't need to.
He stood up with her in his arms and carried her. Not to the bedroom, but to the large fur rug in front of the fire place.
Yui-chan stopped there. No one spoke for a minute, then…
"Did you have to inform us that she was naked?" Kathy asked calmly.
"From that day forward anytime Mai was in that house she was naked." Yui replied.
"How big was this 'Blood Queens' guild, and why haven't we heard about it? Kikuoka asked as he continued to make notes.
"Thirty-Eight members," Kirito replied.
"And there was no point in talking about the dead," Asuna added. "Only Laughing Coffin had a larger PK guild.
"All dead?" the Government Man spoke.
As those who knew nodded, Kathy stood up.
"We are taking a break," She said as she went to the next room.
Agil followed his wife into the kitchette.
"Problems?" he asked her as he hugged her.
"It really got that bad didn't it?"
She replied as she stared at a mirror.
"Febuary 14th was one of the three bloodiest days in SAO, but most don't know about it. From what I have learned, Beast did a very good job at keeping the horror and truth from the public," he rubbed her shoulders softly.
"I did not know that much about him till now, but I would have to guess."
He turned her to face him.
"I would bet money that this man was a professional, one that had lived in this kind of world before the game started. A soldier, and I think one of great honor."
Kathy just looked in her husbands eyes.
Kirito just stood behind Asuna, she seems down when he arrived and he was waiting.
"Why did you never tell me I had lost that night?" she finally asked him.
"Argo told me not too, she said you knew so little of the story that you would not understand...and lets face it you would not have cared then." Kirito replied as he wraps his arms around his love.
Yui-chan waited as she watched her mommy and daddy while organizing the memories.
The agent man just coughed once to get everyone to return.
