Chapter 8
Hi this is ShiningButterfly. Its been a while since I updated. Sorry not updating Vanguard Brawlers I'm still working on it. An for this chapter i thought of doing one without cardfighting because I have no idea what to do next. So I thought of this chapter. I hope you enjoy this chapter.
Aichi tapped her finger on her arm as she waited her Shingo to make a move "How much longer are you going to take" Aichi began to tapping her foot
"Just wait" Shingo said looking at his hand
Aichi look at the watch on her wrist 'I'm almost late' she thought "Shingo" she began
"I got it, Convert Demonic Dragon, Magastu Storm ride" Shingo said "Then I can beat you with this" Shingo push up his glasses
A minute later "Go, Chain Blast Dragon!" Aichi said, Shingo's last damage fell
"AAGGGHH!" Shingo hung his head in defeat "I lost" he mumbled
"There's not a choice Sakura is strong" Naoki said
"Sometimes I feel weak after getting trampled by you and her" Shingo said
Naoki awkwardly laughed then turn to rumbling noise, seeing Aichi put her deck in her bag and ran to the door
"Sakura where are you going" Naoki stop Aichi before Aichi went out the door
"Sorry, but right I'm busy" Aichi ran out the door, slamming it behind her
Naoki and Shingo look at each other confusedly.
Aichi ran out the school gates, down the street to the Histue Elementary school (I'm not sure if there is a Histue Elementary, please tell me if there is). Aichi catch her breathe at the school gate noticing all the kids are already at home.
"Sakura née-chan" Aichi see the familiar little brunette running up to her
"Hibiki, sorry I'm late" Aichi apologized
"No it's fine" Hibiki shook her head "I can't wait for Saturday this week" she began walking
"Yeah me too" Aichi said "I should thank Reina-san for inviting me"
"You don't have to say that, Sakura née-chan you're my big sister I can't leave my sister out" Hibiki grabbed Aichi's hand
Aichi lightly smiled "Ok my little sis" she wrap her arms around Hibiki's waist pick her up and swinging her around, Hibiki squealed and giggled as she was being pick up "Let's go home" Aichi put her down
Hibiki nodded, they both walk back home. They both arrived home seeing Fraise running up to them.
"Fraise" Hibiki gave the dog a big hug, Fraise barking licking her face causing her to laughing.
"Hey girl" Aichi kneeled down petting the Golden Retriever, Fraise barked and licked her face
"Ok ok" Aichi laugh wiping the slobber off her face "I'll see you tomorrow"
"Bye" Hbiki went in her house
Aichi open the door to her house, as Fraise ran right in. Aichi chuckled at the dog as she closed the door. Aichi look at the emptiness in the house, they only two beings are her and Fraise. Tears began to fall down her face, Aichi's felt her knees had no strength she leaned back against the door continuing to cry. Fraise walked up to her and began licking her face making her happy again. Aichi wipe her tears away and petted the Golden Retriever "Thanks" she lightly smiled "Now" she stood up "Let's gets some dinner" Fraise barked and Aichi began cooking dinner.
Next Day
"Minna-san look at this" Shin getting everyones attention by pull out eight tickets
"What is that Manager" Kamui ask
"Good question" Shin said "I happen to win use some tickets to the newest amusement park" he exclaimed
"You the one that was just finished building last month" Noaki said
"Yes, it took me a long time to get these tickets. So who wants to come" Shin said
"Me" Kamui raised his hand
"Sound fun I'm in" Naoki said
"I agree" Shingo said
Miwa raised his hand also putting up Kai's.
"Well we need a break once in a while. What about you Kourin, are you free" Misaki ask
"I don't know, when are we going to that amusement park" Kourin ask
"Next week's Saturday" Shin said
Kourin took out her phone and look at her schedule "I happen to be free on the day, so I'll come"
"That means one more ticket so who do we get" Naoki began to think
"Hey" they see Aichi walking in the shop "What are you guys doing" Aichi was confused
"Oh Sakura, Manager got us some tickets to an amusement and we are going next Saturday" Naoki said
Aichi's eyes widen 'That day...' "Sorry I can't go, I have plans on that day" Aichi walk pass him and sat down on a table
"EEEhhh! Why" Naoki whined
"I told you I have plans on that day" Aichi said
"Come on, it's not that bad. Once in a while you need to use a break" Naoki stood next to the table
Aichi stood up "I should have not come here today" Aichi walked out the door
"Hey" Naoki said, but she was already gone "What's wrong with her. She just came and walked out without getting a fight" he crossed his arms
"Well she may really have plans" Miwa said "Probably important"
"What kind" Naoki ask
"I should I know, she may have date or something" Miwa joked
"Ha ha ha" Naoki mock a laugh "Anyway Kamui can you be my opponent"
"Yeah Ishida-sempai" Kamui said
Saturday
"We're here" Shin drive up to the entrance of the amusement park
Everyone in the car came out.
"Awesome" Naoki exclaimed, while others gaped at the park and it's really big
"I can't believe we just came here, I heard there's a really extreme ride that was finished building a few days ago" he said
"What a kid" Shingo shook his head, while others sweatdrop
"I'll go park so you guys can go have fun first" Shin gave Misaki the seven tickets before driving
"We should go, since this park is big Shin-san will take a while to come" Misaki said
"Yes then let's go" Naoki punched his fist in the air
They gave their tickets to the front and received a wristband so they can ride on the rides.
"So which ride so we go to first" Naoki said
"Let's see" Miwa open to the map of the park "If you want to ride that new extreme ride it's on the other side of the park, it's going to take 15 minutes to get there so we can go on their last"
"EEEHHH!" Naoki cried "No way" he hung his head
"Then why don't we on the other rides, there happen to be one right there" Misaki pointed to the roller coaster near them "It's not that far and it seems to be extreme"
"Then let-" "Wait" Naoki began, but Kourin cut him off
"What's wrong Kourin-san" Shingo ask
"Look" Kourin pointed, they look where Kourin is pointing to see a girl wondering around looking for someone as people walk by her. Her hair was brown in two high ponytail, wearing a pink shirt with a white jacket over it, blue skirt and pink sneakers.
"She's been looking around ever since we got here" Kourin said
"Maybe she got lost her mom" Kamui said
"Let's go ask her" Naoki said as they walk up to her
"What's wrong little girl" she look to see Naoki and the others walking up to her "Did you get lost" Naoki ask her
The girl took a step back before nodding "I lost my sister" she squeaked out
"What's her name, we can help you find her" Miwa squatted down to eye level
"Uh-um, I'm not allowed to talk to strangers" she said
"Yeah" Naoki got nervous "What do we do" he whispered to the others
"Well we need to find her sister that's the important thing" Kai said
"But where this park is huge" Kamui said
"Hibiki! Hibiki!" they heard a voice calling
"I'm here" the girl waving her hand
They see a girl with light green hair in a high ponytail, wearing a white long sleeves shirt with a white short sleeves leather jacket over it, white jean pants and brown boots to her ankles with a tan bag hanging from her left shoulder to her right hip running up to them.
"You guys" she gaped at them
"Sakura!" Naoki cried "What are you doing here"
"That's my line" Aichi cried "I thought you guys are going to a different amusement park"
"And you said you have plans" Kamui said
"Because I do have plans" Aichi put her hands on her hips
"Sakura née-chan" they turn to the girl
"I forgot Hibiki what are you doing here I told you stay at the bench while I get you a drink" Aichi scolded her
"Sorry, but you took a long time" Hibiki said
Aichi sighed and kneeled down "Next time just stay where I tell ,alright. If your parents know I lost you they will never forgive me, got it"
Hibiki nodded "Got it" she said
"Good" Aichi patted her head "Now let's go have some fun" she stood up
"Yay! Can they come too, they are your friends right" Hibiki said pointing to Kai and the others
"Ok" Aichi gave a shrug
"Let's go" Hibiki ran ahead of them "Come on hurry up" she waved at them
Aichi shook her head and chuckled "Come on you heard the girl" Aichi began walking, Naoki and the others look at the each other before walking up to Aichi. Hibiki giggled and began running.
"Sakura" Aichi turn to Miwa "Is that your sister" he ask
"No she's my neighbor's daughter. Her name is Tsaka Hibiki. I happen to be taking care of her today" Aichi said
"So that's why you said you have plans, but take her to an amusement park" Naoki ask
"Today happen to be her birthday so I thought that giving her some fun and it just so happens" Aichi reach in her bag and pull out a flyer "There's going to be fireworks tonight for celebrating the opening of this amusement park" she said
"Wow you planned a lot of things" Miwa said
"Of course, Hibiki have been wanting to come here ever since it showed on tv" Aichi said
"Sakura née-chan" Hibiki ran up to Aichi and took on her hand "Let's go on that ride" she pull Aichi with her
"Ok ok" Aichi chuckled as she was being pulled by the small girl
"It seems like Sakura is having a fun time" Miwa said
"Yeah, she's smiling more also" Kamui said
Hibiki ran up to them "You guys too" she took Miwa's and Naoki's hand taking them with her
"H-Hey slow down" Naoki said
Miwa laughed as the others follow them. They went to mirror fun house, to some roller coasters and got they all had fun.
"What do we do next" Naoki said
Hibiki put a finger on her lips "What about that" she pointed to the Haunted House
Aichi cringe after hearing that.
"Oh nice choice" Miwa gave her a thumb up "We can draw out straws" he suggested
"We have 9 people" Shingo said
"Then one group will get three people, so let's go" Miwa hold out 9 straws
They all draw a straw, Misaki was paired with Miwa, Kourin and Naoki was paired together, Kamui and Shingo got together, Hibiki got into Misaki and Miwa's group, lastly Kai and Aichi were paired together.
'Why' Aichi look at the straw then to Kai
"So why won't we let Sakura and Kai go first" Miwa said
"Wait, what?!" Aichi was confused
"Now let's go" Miwa pulled Aichi and Kai into the house "Have fun" he said as the door closed on them
Aichi and Kai walk in the dark with few light, Aichi keep walking closer to Kai as she was prepared for anything scary.
Kai stopped walking and look back at Aichi "You alright"
"Eh?" Aichi perk up "Yeah I'm fine" she waved her hand side to side "It's fine, nothing's wrong. Is there something wrong" she quickly said
Kai sighed and continued walking, Aichi followed him closely. The floor creaked as they walk, Aichi's hand reached to the end of Kai's jacket. Kai stopped again making Aichi confused "Is there something wrong Kai" she ask
Kai look back over his shoulder "Your hand"
"Eh?" Aichi look down at her hand on his jacket, she felt her face heating up and pull it away "Sorry"
"If you're scared then why come in here" Kai said
"I'm not scared" Aichi said
There was a chest next to them opened automatically and a skeleton popped out with his teeth chattering.
Aichi screamed and wrapped her arms around Kai making him to lose his balance, making him falling on his back. Kai groaned at his arching back and felt arms getting tighter, he see Aichi shaking and hugging him closer.
"Tamamiya you..." Kai said as Aichi continue to shake
Aichi then notice what she is doing and pull back away from Kai, she blushed at how closed their face is "S-Sorry" Aichi jump up and turn away blushing
Kai got up and brush the dust off his pants "What's wrong"
Aichi look down "I just hate being in the dark that's all" Aichi walked passed him, Kai followed her. Red fog seep in the hallway, Aichi and Kai slowly walk because of the fog blocking their view. Aichi keep stopping each time she hears a strange sounds. The red light then see away, Aichi was confused why it stop lighting the light. Then a zombie popped out from the top and right in front of Aichi's face, Aichi screamed ran ahead full speed.
"Wait Tamamiya" Kai ran after her, the darkness return and Kai tried to Aichi's Aichi in the dark
"Tamamiya where are you" he tried to look in the dark, he heard some muttering up ahead and saw Aichi sitting on the ground with her hands around her shaking "Tamamiya" Kai kneel next to her
"Kai" Aichi wrap her arms around him, Kai was taken back by the hug, this is the second time she hugged him. Kai put his arms around her and bring her close to him "Don't worry I'm here. I'm here" he whispered in her ear
A few moments later, Aichi calmed down then noticing what is she doing, push Kai away from her and turn away blushing again 'What's wrong with me today' she put her hand over her chest
"Let's go" Kai stood up and the exit signed glow nearby
Aichi got up and followed him out the door, everyone else waited for them to finish.
"Took you a while" Miwa grinned
"Sakura née-chan you alright" Hibiki ask Aichi
"I'm fine" Aichi sat down at a nearby bench under a shade
"Ok next is our turn" Miwa said "Let's go" he said to Misaki
"You alright, being with us" Misaki said
"Yeah I'm fine" Hibiki nodded
Three of them walk in the haunted house. As they wait, Aichi lean back on the bench rubbing her head getting rid of the headache. She heard footsteps coming and see Kai sitting next to her.
"How do you feel" he ask her
"I'm fine" Aichi said "It's been a while since I been in a Haunted House"
"It's not that right" Kai said
Aichi sighed "Kai, I live alone in my house only with a dog. It's hard to control nightmares of being alone" Aichi wrap her arms around herself "I usually cry alone, be alone. I just can't stand the darkness, Kai. That's why I freak out" she said
"Your wrong" Kai said making Aichi confused "Tamamiya you have friends, you're not alone. If your alone, just come to us and talk about it" he said
Aichi smiled "Thanks" she said
"Sakura née-chan" they turn to see Hibiki running up to them
"So how was it" Aichi ask
"Great and I didn't get scared once" Hibiki put out her chest in pride
Aichi giggled "Ok"
"Man, that was awesome" Kamui sat down at a bench and his stomach lightly growled making him blush and everyone laughing "Sorry, I'm kind of hungry" he rub the back of his neck sheepishly
Misaki look at her watch on her wrist "It's almost dinner time anyway"
"There happen to be a restaurant near here" Aichi look at the map
Then let's go" Kamui said
They arrive at a restaurant and ordered their food. A waiter led them to a table and asked for their order.
"What do you want Hibki" Aichi ask
"I want spaghetti" Hibiki said
"I'll get that too" Kourin said
"Me too" Kamui said
"I'll have steak" Aichi said
"Me too" Misaki said
"I'll get that too" Naoki said
"I'll have turkey sandwich" Shingo said
"Me too" Miwa said "Kai will take a steak" Miwa said Kai's order
"Thank you" the waiter said walking to the kitchen
A moment later, the waiter came back with their order.
"It's good" Miwa said
"Awesome" Misaki said
"It's good Sakura née-chan" Hibiki said
"Yeah" Aichi said
After they finish eating, Aichi order a fruit parfait for Hibiki's present.
"Here" Aichi gave Hibiki the parfait "Happy Birthday"
"Thank you" Hibiki pick up a spoon taking a strawberry in to her mouth
Aichi and the others smiled at the little girl. Ringing rang at the tables, Aichi pull out her phone out of her bag "It's Reina-san"
"From Mama" Hibki exclaimed
"Give me a moment" Aichi walk out the restaurant "Hello" Aichi answered the phone
"Oh Sakura-chan is Hibiki with you right now" Reina ask
"No, she's eating right now" Aichi said
"Good" Aichi was confused at the response "Reina-san is something wrong"
"Yes" Reina said "Our boss, both Takeshi and mine made us work at the night shift so we are unable to come at the park to see the fireworks with her"
"But Reina-san, Hibiki is looking forward to this ever since we got the tickets. Is there anyway you can convince your boss" Aichi said
Reina sighed through the phone "We will try, I want you to talk to Hibiki about this ok and tell her we said Happy Birthday"
"Alright" Aichi sighed "Bye"
"Bye" Reina said back
Aichi look at the screen of her phone before closing it and putting it in her bag 'What do I do' Aichi thought
The restaurant Kai and the others see out the window Aichi walking back and forth outside.
"What is she doing" Naoki ask
"Pacing back and forth" Misaki answered
"She seems to be having trouble" Kourin said
"Something's wrong with that phone call" Shingo said
"I'll go take to her" Naoki stood up
"Us too" they all stood up
"Sorry, but Shingo, Kamui can you two stay here to watch Hibiki-chan" Misaki said
"Sure" they said
They all walk out the restaurant door.
'What do I do? Hibki is looking forward to this. If I tell her she would be devastated and if I don't, it'll make it worst. What do I do?' Aichi didn't watch where she is going at her head bang into a low tree branch making her falling on the down "Ouch" Aichi rub her nose
"Sakura" she see the others looking at her on the ground
"You alright" Misaki ask, putting out her hand
"Yeah" Aichi accepted the hand, they sat at a nearby bench
"Here" Kourin handed her a wet towel, Aichi put the towel on her face cooling it down "Is something wrong with the phone call" she ask
"Yeah" Aichi give the towel back to Kourin "Reina-san, Hibiki's mom just called that they have no time to come to see the fireworks tonight"
"But today's is Hibiki-chan's birthday" Miwa said
"She is trying with Takeshi-san, I have no idea what to do" Aichi put her hand on her forehead leaning on her knees "If I tell Hibiki she would be sad and if I don't Hibiki will not trust her parents" she sighed "What do I do?"
They all look worried at Aichi then to each other.
"Sakura née-chan" they see Hibiki with Kamui and Shingo running up to them "So how was it with mama are they coming" she immediately ask
Aichi hesitated, along with the others then Aichi decided to tell her "Hibiki, they is something I have to tell you"
"What" Hibiki tilted her head to the side in confusion
"Reina-san and Takeshi-san isn't able to watch the fireworks with you" Aichi said
Hibiki stared at Aichi for a minute then to the ground, her hands clenching into fists.
"Hibi-" Sichi started, but cut off "I knew it" she said "Mama and outo-san always have missed everything on an important day. Like my parent day at school, my first play and more" tears flow down her face
"Hibiki" Aichi put her hand on the girls shoulder
"Don't touch me" Hibiki slap the hand away, making everyone shocked "I hate my life!" she cried running away
"Hibiki" Aichi ran after her the others not far "Hibiki! Hibiki!" Aichi cried as the girl ran into the crowd "Hibiki!" Aichi push through the crowd, but Aichi lost her "No, no. Nononono! No!" Aichi exclaimed, her hand are clawing in her hair "What do I do, if Reina-san and Takeshi-san know I lost Hibiki they will kill me" Aichi began panicking
"Sakura calm down" Naoki said
"How can I calm down, I promise Reina-san and Takeshi-san that I will take care of Hibiki and I broke it" Aichi cried, Aichi dosen't know why but this is the first time she panicked other than when Emi was lost for an hour
"Sakura take a deep breathe" Misaki said and Aichi followed "Let's spilt up to find her"
"Right" they all nodded and when to different directions (Pairs in the haunted house)
Aichi and Kai ran around the park to see the little girl, Aichi walked up to a person and ask if he seen Hibiki, but no.
"Tamamiya do you know where Hibiki what's to go" Kai said
Aichi began to think then her eyes laid on the Ferris wheel "She wants to the Ferris wheel" Aichi ran to the wheel and asked the employee if they see Hibiki, but no.
"Why don't see ride on the ferris wheel, you may find her" the employee said
Aichi thanked him and climbed in with Kai behind her, as the carriage go up. Aichi look at every direction then to the sun, she look at her watch "It's almost dark we need to find her"
"Tamamiya" Aichi turn to Kai pointing the middle of the park with a familiar brunette girl sitting on a bench
As the carriage landed on the ground, they ran to the middle if the park and see Hibiki on the bench crying.
"Hibiki" Aichi cried getting the girls attention
"S-Sakura née-chan" Hibiki hiccupped
Aichi ran to the girl and bring her close to her "Hibiki I told you never to run off, you should know how we tried to find you. What are you thinking" Aichi angrily scold her
Hibiki look down "I'm sorry, it's my fault" she said
Aichi hug the girl closer "Please don't scare me, if your parents know I lost you. I take full responsibility. And I won't forgive myself" she muttered "Please don't scare me ok"
"Ok" Hibiki hug back
"Hibiki!" they heard the girls name seeing Reina and Takeshi running up to them.
"Mama, Outo-san" Hibiki ran up to them giving them a hug
"I'm sorry Hibiki, for not coming earlier" Takeshi said
"Why are you both here" Hibiki ask
"We told our boss and we can do the job another day" Reina said
Hibiki smiled and them a hug. Aichi in back had tears at the edge of her eyes and wipe them away. They hear booming and see the fireworks starting.
"Sakura" they see everyone running to her "You found her" Misaki said, who nodded and look at the happy family. Aichi felt her eyes water, tears keep falling down. She wipe them away quickly 'I'm happy for you Hibiki'
"Wait" they turn to Kamui "Are we missing someone" he said
At the other end of the park "Everyone where are you" Shin called out
What do you think ,it may be bad. I will do my best in updating more of my stories. School is seem to be in my way, homework, test, quiz and projects are coming and coming. I wanted to tell you that I thought of rewriting Stadn Up! Vanguard! if any one of you know. I promise that I will do my best not to copy the anime and work on my own.
