So here is the update you've all been waiting for, sorry it's taken so long, i've had quite a bit of writers block with how to write this but i hope to have this story complete within the next week so keep watching for the next chapters and the ones for after it.

"It is on this day that we as a pride mourn" Scar says as he sit at the top of a rock as he looked over the lionesses that were his brothers and now they were his, he could see Zira and her other females, the ones that had always adored him. He had finally won, Mufasa; Dead. Simba; Dead. The annoying, stupid, weak white lioness, Kagome; gone. It was all so perfect. Just how he planned.

"Mufasa's death was a terrible tragedy; but to lose Simba, who had barely begun to live" Scar needed the lionesses to believe in him, for them to come to him now that their king is dead that they needed him for protection. "For me it is a deep personal loss" he had to play the role.

"So it is with a heavy heart that I assume the throne" Scar raises his head slightly to show his seriousness and to show his dominance. Now there was just one more thing that he had to do, keep up his end of the bargain with the Hyena.

"Yet, out of the ashes of this tragedy, we shall rise to greet the dawning of a new era, in which lion and hyena come together, in a great and glorious future!" and then the hyena started laughing as they started to appear behind the new king.

"I do not know what happened to Kagome but I've been told that she was last seen in the wildebeest gazing field and I pray that we find the young cub soon before she finds herself in trouble" Scar said as he walked over to Sarabi who was laying on the ground, two lionesses either side of her trying to help cope with all the loses she had suffered that day, her mate, her cub, little Kagome, she prayed for them all, she mourned them all.

Else where

Kagome looked around herself shyly. She didn't know how it had happened but she was glad that she had got away from the hyenas.

Flashback

"Can't I eat her now?" Bansai said as he looked down at the white cub with hungry eyes. These were the hyenas' from the other day, the ones that had been in the elephant graveyard. How did her uncle know these outlanders?

"No, not till we do our job" Shensi she said harshly. Watching how the three act now Kagome knew how the trio worked. Shensi was the leader of the group, she kept the other two in line and in the right direction;, Bansai was like her little brother, always complaining about something, since Scar had given her to them it had been that he was hungry and wanted food. Lastly was the quite one Ed who was very dumb.

"Well can't we just scare them now so we can eat her now?" Bansai complained again looking towards the wildebeests and then back to Kagome.

"We wait for the signal from Scar" Shensi said again, this time more force behind her words.

"Wait, Uncle Scar is the one behind this plan?" Kagome asked timidly.

"Of course, you think we could come up with such a blameless way to kill the king and the prince?" Bansai said with a laugh. Kagome's eyes widened at the mention of the death of her father and brother.

"Don't worry princess you won't have to see the death" Shensi said sarcastically.

"Please she won't live long enough to mourn for their deaths" Bansai said with a merciless laugh. Tears started to appear in Kagome's eyes as she shook her head at the thought.

"Yeah, so don't worry about it cub" Shensi said as both male hyenas laughed at the cubs pain. Kagome was horrified to hear what was to become of her father and brother, but she knew she had to get away from these three.

She knew that she had to live to tell the pride about her uncle's plan, to tell them of her uncle's betrayal. Kagome looked around slowly so not to give the hyena's any reason to be suspicious of her, she made herself small, that wasn't a hard feat as it was how she was really feeling in the moment.

She knew that the Ed Hyena was the one with the slowest reflexes, if she was going to be able to pull off her escape it would have to be through him. She gave another look back at Shensi and Bansai to make sure they were still arguing.

'Well, now or never, dear spirits forgive me' she thought to herself before jumping into action. She jumped up from her curled up small ball. She jumped straight at Ed's leg and bit down; hard. The hyena in question gave a loud yep and pulled his leg away which in turn through Kagome a good distance away,

Once she landed on her side Kagome ignored the slight pain in her said which she landed on and started running way from what she could only assume was three or less full grown hyena's that would be on her trail.

"She's getting away" Bansai yelled after her, Kagome turned her head to see who was following but out of the corner of her eye she saw Scar looking down at the heard and then back at the group of hyena's as if conveying a message. That was his signal Kagome realised before turning back to face ahead of herself.

"That's Scar's signal" Kagome heard Shensi saying to the other two.

"What we going to do?!" Bansai yelled at her.

"Ed will follow the cub, you and me will follow the plan" she ordered and with that Ed nodded before starting to follow after Kagome while Shensi and Bansai moved to scare the heard to moving from the field.

It didn't take long for Kagome to find a small hold in the side of the rock wall just under where Uncle Scar had appeared from. It would be tight but Kagome turned herself around and backed herself into the hole.

Present Time

Kagome started her slow walk back towards pride rock after coming out of her hiding place. She wasn't sure how much time had passed since she had hidden herself away from the horrible creatures. She was in view of pride rock when she next spotted the pride. But her uncle was further up from her mother and the other lionesses.

That wasn't really what scared her, it was the hordes and hordes of hyena that were laughing behind him and the evil smirk on her uncle's face. She could see Nala between her mother's legs while her and Simba's mother; Sarabi lay on the ground.

She couldn't see her father or brother insight, Scar's plan had worked, two of the most important males in her life were gone and her mother was upset. Tears were starting to drip from her eyes as she just sat down.

She wanted nothing more than to run towards her mother and the group of welcoming lionesses, Scars smirk and laugh scared her, she didn't know whether he would be safe to go home. Then there was the fact that scar had promised the three hyena's that they could eat her as reward for doing their job.

But then her mother was down there with them, surely she would not allow her uncle or the hyena's to hurt her, she was her mother after all. With this positive thought Kagome stood back up and made her way over to her home, of course being so focused on what was a head of her she didn't see the person coming at her from the side until it was too late and the arm was wrapped around her middle.

"Not that way my little white princess" a calm familiar voice spoke to her the person turned around with her still wrapped up in their one arm. "There will be a time for you to return to that place, but before you do you must train" the creature continued. For some reason at the sound of their words Kagome began to feel tired and her eyes started to close.

"I will train you and one day when the kings decide you are ready you will return to your mother and the pride" the voice said soothingly. "For now rest little princess and dream of happier days, from this day forward let them think you have passed so that when you return you will show evil that good always have plans and they will always win" those were the last words Kagome heard before her mind fell into darkness.
