[Back Down Stairs]

Eva fighting with Six, Fate vs Seven, Yue vs. Five, Setsuna vs Four, Kaeda vs Two, and Hiyako vs Three.

Syiya: 'With everyone evenly matched like this we both are at a stale mate. But so long as I can hold my barrier we still have a chance for one of us rescuing Kitty. However they also have the chance of taking me out and reviving Sol. Hurry someone I don't want to lose her again.'

[Flash back to Syiya first meets Catherine]

Syiya was playing with Hiyako in the palace garden when Asuna showed up.

Asuna: "Syiya, come here for a moment there's something I need to ask you to do something for me."

Syiya stopped what she was doing and ran up to her Mother.

Asuna: "Syiya do you remember about the stories that I use to tell you when I was back in middle school, as well as my young teacher?

Syiya: "Yeah."

Asuna: "Well his wife and daughter will be coming over for a visit soon, and I want you to keep their daughter company while I talk with her mother, alright?"

Syiya: "Alight."

A few minutes later Evangeline and Catherine both arrived at the palace. Catherine was just four years old and Syiya was thirteen. At first glance Syiya thought Catherine was just being shy, but Catherine would just not talk with her, as well as not play with her.

Syiya: "Catherine why don't we play together?"

Catherine turned to give her an evil glare and ran off.

Syiya: "Why you little… Hiyako bring her back."

Hiyako: "Understood."

Hiyako ran after Catherine only to be knocked back by black lightning.

Syiya: Hiyako!? Are you alright?"

Hiyako: "It seem I will be alright Lady Syiya."

Catherine turned back to ran away again.

Syiya: "Fine I didn't want to be friends with a brat like you anyway."

After leaving Hiyako with the royal doctor, Syiya left to do her summer studies with her magic teacher Yue and her assistant Kamo.

Kamo: "What wrong Syiya? You look like you got dumped by Fate again."

Syiya: "No, I Did Not Get Dumped Again! …It's nothing really; I tried to be friends with this new girl but she just runs away with eyes like this."

Syiya stretched the corners of her eyes to make them look evil.

Syiya: "She's just a brat who only cares for her mother. I even tried to be mean back but all I got was being struck by lightning."

Yue: "You mean Eva-chan's little girl, Catherine?"

Syiya: "Yeah that's her."

Yue and Kamo looked at each other with worry.

Yue: "Syiya do you know why she's here?"

Syiya: "Mom told me that we were looking after her while her mother is away right?"

Kamo: "That's partly why. Before they came to the magical world, they lived in the human world and she didn't get along with everyone that lived nearby. She was bullied a lot and then things went too far with the other kids. She fought back and by accident hurt one of the kids rather bad."

Syiya: "What!? She's just a bratty little kid."

Yue: "Even though she is young she still has power to hurt others."

Kamo: "Kind of reminds me of another girl who was also a mother loving brat."

Syiya: "…I'll be back later to finish my work."

Syiya got up from her seat and walked out.

Yue: "Kamo go with her just in case something happens."
