Summary- Emily has liked Mona for a while. But with -A lurking around and Alison dead what could possibly happen? Will they end up together? Or will -A ruin any chances they have of ever getting together.

Chapter Six- Surprise Surprise.

Mona and Toby found out about A. They all got a new assignment in English. Spencer's mom is allowing them to use the Lake House for Spring break. Emily and Mona have a date set up for Friday. Oh and you all found out who is on the A team. But not who A is.

Upon arriving home Emily walks up to the front door slowly, noticing that it was partially open. Opening the door slowly she drops her bag and continues walking through to the living room.

"Mom I'm home!" she yells hoping for a response.

After getting no response she walks towards the kitchen slowly. Not knowing if her mom was home or not. She also didn't know if A had somehow entered her house.

"Mom?" She calls out again, still not getting a response she walks into the kitchen only to stop in her tracks.

"Dad? Oh my god! Dad!" Emily yells excitedly before running forward and hugging her dad tightly.

Wayne hugs his daughter to him tightly. "Oh Em I've missed you." He says pulling back with a grin.

"I've missed you too! How long are you here for?" She asks excitedly.

"I'm here until Thursday. They are giving me a little time to spend with you and your mother." The older man says smiling as Pam walks into the room.

Pam walks over to her husband and daughter with a smile. "Tonight let's spend time together, and then tomorrow you can invite the girls and your other friends over." She says with a soft smile.

Emily squeals before hugging her mom and dad at the same time. "What should we do?"

"I'm thinking dinner and then a movie marathon. What do you think ladies?" Wayne asks looking at the two most important women in his life.

"Yes!" Both mother and daughter say at the same time.

That night they ate pizza for dinner and watched three movies before heading to bed.

It was the next day at school Emily was extremely happy, her father was finally home and she couldn't wait to tell her friends. Walking into the cafeteria where the girls usually met before their first class, seeing that everyone was already at the table; including Mona and Toby.

"Hey! I have some amazing news." She says sitting down next to the Hawaiian girl she was slowly beginning to date.

Spencer smiles at the swimmer, "What is it Em?" she asks.

"My dad came home last night!" Emily exclaims excitedly.

Hanna gasps, "That's amazing Em!"

Mona smiles as she grabs Emily's hand intertwining their fingers.

"Oh mom said everyone can come over tonight. That includes you two." The Filipino girl says smiling at Mona and Toby.

Toby pauses mid bite, "Are you sure your mom wants me to come? Everyone thinks I killed Alison."

"Nobody thinks that you killed Ali. Well at least we don't" Spencer says quickly realizing that although they don't think he killed Alison, others might.

Emily bites her lip before looking at Mona with a soft smile, "Will you come over?" she asks softly.

"Anything for you Em." Mona says sweetly.

Just then the bell rings signaling it was time for their first class of the day.

Groaning Emily stands up, "I still haven't decided on what poem to use."

"Do you have any picked out?" Mona asks standing up and grabbing Emily's hand once more.

"I'm stuck between two. Fire and Ice by Robert Frost, and Raven by Edgar Allen Poe." The swimmer says.

The others look at Emily with grins, "Fire and Ice." They all say in unison.

Laughing Emily shakes her head as they all head towards their first class of the day.

Emily looks around the classroom at all of her classmates, they were working on their assignment that is due that Friday. Sighing she looks back at the paper, she had no idea what to write about how the poem relates to her.

"You okay Em?" Mona asks catching the rest of the groups attention.

"I can't think of how to do this assignment." The Filipino says.

Spencer looks to the swimmer, "You could start by reading the poem you picked." she smirks.

"Oh haha Spence." Emily replies glaring at the field hockey player.

"Well you asked." Spencer smiles at her friend.

Rolling her eyes Hanna leans forward, "Just say how the poem makes you feel or how you think it relates to you."

"Thanks Han." Emily smiles at the blonde.

Aria looks up from her paper ears perked up when she hears Hanna say something intelligent, "Guys mark this down on your calendar Hanna makes smart response." she says smiling at the blonde girl.

"Very funny Ar." Hanna says glaring at the small brunette before turning back to her paper.

"Come on guys. We need to get our papers done." Toby says being the mediator.

"Sir yes sir!" The Hawaiian says sarcastically.

Toby gives her a mock glare before turning back to his paper.

Emily sighs and looks back at her paper, just as Ezra passes by their group.

"Mona I see you've already finished the assignment." He says smiling at the Hawaiian.

Mona nods with a smile, "This is one of my favorite poems."

Spencer stares wide eyed at Mona, "How are you finished before me?" she asks.

"Um because I worked on it last night and finished it just now." Mona says trying not to snap at the brunette.

Spencer blushes and looks down at her paper. "Sorry." she mutters.

"It's fine Spencer." Mona says while watching Ezra whispering with Aria.

"So what do you think of this?" Aria asked Ezra quietly.

Ezra smiles as he looks over what she has, "I like what you have so far, but you need to change some of the wording."

Emily sighs and continues staring at her paper.

"Take a break Em." Mona whispers softly reaching over and grabbing her hand.

Spencer sees her friend struggling, "Em there is no need to stress over this paper. It will come to you." she says softly.

"It's just I need to bring my grades up if I want to continue swimming." Emily whispers.

"How about we all work on our papers tonight when we come over for dinner?" Spencer suggests.

Hanna quickly jumps into the conversation, "Yeah! Spence I kinda need your help anyways."

"How could you possibly need my help? You seem to have all the answers." Spencer teases the blonde.

"Oh come on Spence please! If Caleb was here he would help me." Hanna says pouting slightly.

Mona laughs softly, "Yeah Spencer help the poor blonde. I'm going to help Emily."

"Hey who is going to help me then?" Aria says suddenly.

Toby looks up from his finished assignment and smiles at the tiny brunette, "I could help you. I mean if you want me too." he finishes quickly.

Spencer's eyes are bright with fury, "No he isn't here he is off in Ravenswood doing god knows what." she mutters angrily.

"Spence, please stop getting mad about Caleb leaving. I mean he is coming back, told me I would see him at your lake house." Hanna says sweetly knowing the genius girl was protective.

"If he isn't I get to strangle him for hurting you." Spencer says leaving no room for argument.

Hanna just nods, "Okay but don't mess up his face."

Emily glares at her paper once more before putting it in her folder. "I suck at English." she mumbles.

Across town Melissa Hastings sits in the basement of an abandoned building with the rest of A's team. Everyone except Lucas was there, and it seemed they had a new team member.

"Caleb Rivers, never thought I would see you going against your perfect girlfriend." Melissa says sarcastically.

Caleb just smirks, "Oh come on seriously? That bitch gets jealous to easily."

Ian walks over to where his fiance sits and smirks up at Caleb, "Man trust me I know all about women getting jealous. When I kissed Spencer, Melissa about cut off my balls and made me eat them." he says smiling at Melissa.

Reaching over the brunette smack him in the chest. "I did not cut off your balls. I threatened to."

CeCe shakes her head, she honestly was only on the team to protect Alison. "He isn't going to like this, we already allowed Lucas to join."

"He can go to hell. This was my idea and he took it from me." Melissa growls standing up.

Caleb grins, "What's the plan for the next mission?"

The others all grin and they begin talking about Friday's plan.
