**Dallas's POV**
We all were sitting in the living room, awaiting for Two-Bit to show. I had never been this angry at him in the years we have known each other. I still don't know what happened, but I can't believe he would upset Rose this much. They had been going so great. Suddenly we heard the door open and we all looked up to see Two standing there. He was as white as a ghost.
"What'd you do to her!" I shouted and got up in his face before anyone could stop me. Two-Bit looked at me. He didn't have a smirk, didn't have his ol' grin. He didn't even chuckle.
"It's more what Kathy did to both of us. Evie stopped me halfway here to warn me, as I guess she had been trying to find me or Rose all day. She said that Kathy had been planning to write this note and another." He said handing me a little hand written note. I looked to Darry.
"Yeah, we came out of the grocery store and there was a note looked exactly like that one on the window of my truck." Darry said handing me the other note. I set them next to eachother. Same handwriting, same wording. Everything. I sighed.
"Two-Bit, man, I'm sorry. I just let my anger get the best of me. I'll go talk to her, so she doesn't cut your head off." I said looking at Two-Bit. He still didn't laugh at my joke. I could tell he was angry at Kathy, and knew this would put a damper on how close to being official again he and Rose had been. I knocked on Rose's door and she opened it. I sat on her bed next to her and handed her the notes.
"Rose, Kathy wrote those notes to you and Two-Bit. She forced herself onto him and he pushed her away." Dallas said. She shook her head.
"Even if she wrote these notes, I just don't know what to do. I don't know if I can just forget what I saw. I mean, sure he pushed her away, but it's just hard to not wonder…how long were they kissing before he did?" Rose asked. I sighed.
"Look, he's hurting out there. He is so worried this will be a set back. He cares a lot about you kid. Also, Darry is the only one who will let his almost 17 year old sister date an eighteen year old who is still considered a junior in high school. Probably the only boyfriend you will ever have that all of us can approve on." I said trying to get her to smile. She smiled at me and gave me a hug.
"I guess you're right Dal." She said tearing up the notes. I patted her on the back.
"Yeah, you're right, cause I am always right." I said. She rolled her eyes and chuckled at me. We got up and she fixed her makeup and hair.
"Ready?" I asked. She sighed and nodded and we walked out to the living room for her to face Two-Bit and clear the air of this whole mess.
