"What? No, I mean Sara just walked in." Nick clarified as he nodded towards the line where the customers order.
"Oh, ok, thank god, I thought you seriously just ended your marriage as well as Sara and Grissom's fresh start."
"Are you out of your mind? Do you really think I'd do that to Jackie?"
"No, I didn't but, well I didn't know what the hell you were talking about."
"Sara." Nick called as Sara grabbed her tray of food as was going to go sit by herself.
She turned around and was surprised yet happy to see someone to eat with.
"Hey guys. Is your case going well?" She asked as she took a seat next to Greg.
"If by well you mean we have no suspects, evidence, or leads then yeah it's going really well." Greg mumbled.
"Sorry." She told them sympathetically.
"How is your and Cath's case going? And where is Cath?" Nick asked.
"Cath went home to shower, I probably should have went home to shower myself but I decided I was starving and as for our case we have the opposite problem as your case, we have three viable suspects and no evidence that points us as to which one so we are as frustrated as you guys are, just for a different reason." Sara answered with a sigh.
"Want to hear something funny?" Nick asked her.
"Sure. I could use a good laugh." She replied. "Greg thought you and I slept together."
"What? Why would he think that?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
Nick told her the story and she laughed so hard she cried.
After that the trio finished their lunch and had no choice but to get back to work, even though they didn't really want to.
Greg was just glad that Nick and Jackie's steadfast marriage was not in major trouble!
