Part 19: Debunk

It was Tsumori's lunch break as of now and he went off to go see what his spawn of demon has been doing. He has not been at work lately due to his child being sick from the chicken pox. Now that his child is doing better, he went back to work. He grabs some yogurt from the cafeteria on the way. Hopefully he might get to see Hiroki eating. The idea of the devil eating strawberry yogurt makes his face beam of happiness. He enters room 109 only to see Hiroki asleep.

'Well isn't he cute'

Tsumori placed the yogurt on the end table as he sat down onto the green chair. He stares at Hiroki sleeping in a peaceful manner. It was quite nice to see a wild untamed mad cat finally at ease. He closes his eyes imagining Hiroki sleeping next to him every night.

"Nowaki sure is a lucky bastard" he muttered.

Hiroki heard Nowaki's name and awaken.

"Nowaki?" he looks around to see if he perhaps came over after his exams after all.

Tsumori laughed and told him that Nowaki isn't here. Tsumori watches the man reacting to the news. It was sickening to see that Hiroki is starting to care about the tall maniac again. He makes a revolting face showing his displeasure of hearing this man's name coming out of Hiroki's mouth.

"What are you doing here?"

Hiroki looks displease from being woken up from his rest. Even more displeased that the lying rat name Tsumori got the guts to show his face to him after a couple of days. Tsumori grin cheerfully as he hands out the yogurt to one pissed off patient.

"I got you yogurt!"

"I hate strawberries" the demon spat.

Tsumori placed the yogurt onto the table once more but this time close to where Hiroki can easily grab it; letting it sit there just in case Hiroki decides to eat it later on.

"Go away you lying prick"

"That's no way to treat your friend"

Hiroki glare at Tsumori, thinking about all the things he said to him. He does not know that this rat is just playing around with his feelings or just being plain stupid. The last couple of days after Tsumori left, he hasn't talked to anyone who says Nowaki is a cruel sick man. Even though he has a disadvantage in not remembering for more than 10 years of his life. He still willing to talk to anyone that can put the pieces back together in his broken puzzle.

"I haven't seen you around lately."

"Yeah, sorry about that. My kid got chicken pox"

Hiroki was surprised to hear that this rat is in fact a parent. He stares at him in disbelief that he has a child and that he was lying that he was single.

"You have a child? I didn't know you were married. You said you were single but you didn't mention anything about a kid"

Tsumori chucked at Hiroki's response and click his tongue. He probably should tell the whole truth about the kid just in case Hiroki does decide on taking on his offer about living with him.

"Yeah well it's not technically mine. It's my sisters. His father was a drunk idiot and never wanted the kid. My sister wasn't able to support the kid so she asked me to adopt him."

"So does the mother often visit him?"

"No, she died."

Hiroki was taken back from the response he got. He pities the poor man having to take care of the child alone but at the same time admire the man for stepping up and giving up his lifestyle to take care of the child. He didn't know what to say other than sorry but all he got in return was Tsumori laughing it off saying it was nothing to be sorry over.

"Anyways, I heard you are going to be release soon. Do you want to take up my offer about living with me?"

Hiroki thought for a while about this situation. While everyone assumes Hiroki will go with Nowaki, he never initially agreed with anyone that he will live with him. He thinks of someone else to live with which includes his parents and Akihiko. His parents might be the best option but they do not live anywhere near a hospital or a rehabilitation center. This places a concern with Hiroki because he is determined to walk as soon as possible. He thinks about if Akihiko might let him stay with him but he thinks it is a bad idea since his friend already has a boyfriend. He does not want to trouble Akihiko at all. While Tsumori does have a child, he feels uncomfortable knowing he would be intruding into their family life. Nowaki is the only man that he knows who does not have any obligations or responsibilities with anyone. He made up his mind and looks at Tsumori.

"No thank you."

Tsumori frown at his answer but can understand since he has a child. He grabs Hiroki's left hand and wrote down his phone number.

"Call me if anything happens. I'll be there, it's a promise"

Hiroki face heat up as Tsumori wave goodbye and headed back to work. Tsumori kind face turn into an evil grin. He is about to take an advantage on Hiroki's living situation.
